selenium, hidden button by overlapped input ( not clickable)

Is there any way on how to click a hidden button by an overlapped input text field, for example if you go to www.google.com and enter a text to search for, selenium can not find the "Search Google" button because it is hidden by the autocomplete of the text field.
Thanks.
You can bypass the validation by using #click! instead of #click. Basically, this triggers the click via JavaScript rather than through standard Selenium commands.
browser = Watir::Browser.new
browser.goto('www.google.com')
browser.text_field(name: 'q').set('watir')
browser.button(name: 'btnK').click!
If you are only using Selenium, you can do:
btn = driver.find_element(name: 'btnK')
driver.execute_script('arguments[0].click();', btn)
As discussed in the comments, you could also close the suggestions box before trying to click the button. You can do this by moving focus to any other element - eg the first link on the page. Depending on what you're testing, this may or may not have value.
browser.text_field(name: 'q').set('watir')
browser.link.focus # move focus to any other element so suggestions close
browser.button(name: 'btnK').click

How to autocopy text to clipboard on clicking a button without using flash in Safari Browser

I have a button in HTML page (SAFARI BROWSER), and I need to copy the text in a textbox to the clipboard on clicking that button without using flash.
In my scenario I should not select the text and give copy. Just by clicking the button autocopy should occur. Is that possible? If yes, how?
I used window.clipboardData, but it is returning undefined.
document.execCommand('copy') also wont work.
I have to copy without manually hitting ctrl+c or command+c.

dojox form uploader button is clickable only on the border, but not on the full button

I am using IE8
I have created dojo button as below
It has displayed button "Select Files".
Problem
When I click on top border of button its working fine. When I click on any other places on button file picker dialogbox is not displaying.
When I right click on button and select zoom in option once, I am able to click on all the coordinates of button(after selecting zoom option, it works similar to html button).
Note: I have used flash for multiple file selection.
Please tell how to make this button work by clicking in any place.
Have you checked if there is other element's borders in front of the button? Try to check with the developer tools option activated on your browser and select "inspect element" (or similar). If another element is detected when you hover over the button, you have your answer.
Apart from that I have no more ideas.

Click differences between text box and a button

On a form where I display data, if the user clicks the text box I open a virtual keyboard (form) and allow them to click buttons to enter data. When this virtual keyboard is opened, if the path to open was from clicking a text box, the first click in the new form (virtual keyboard) is ignored. If the virtual keyboard form is opened from clicking a button (from the first form), it works fine. I can't find a difference between triggering the virtual keyboard form from either control.
It seems to me that your issue is one of focus. When you trigger the virtual keyboard form to open because of the textbox click, you are somehow immediately returning focus to the caller, and not to the newly opened form. Therefore, you might need something as simple as:
myForm.Focus()
...at the end of the code that is opening the form.
I say this because the first click is "ignored", as you say. I would guess that it's actually consuming that first click as a focus event, and then you get the clicks you want registered as you want after that.
