AIR3.3+ sharedObject location on Windows 7+8 - air

read this
[sharedObject location
my LSO's should be found at
%APPDATA%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\
But in Windows 8 I only see a #SharedObjects folder here
%APPDATA%\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\
And its NOT the location of my shared objects!
I also understand that as of AIR3.3 Adobe changed the location of LSO's to make AIR for mobile compatible with iOS, but not sure if and how this impacts AIR for desktop on Windows. So can anyone solve the mystery?

ok found it for Windows8
\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\client\Local Store\#SharedObjects\

Is there a way to run IOS Simulator on Windows 10?

I want to run IOS Simulator on Windows 10.
Is there a way to do this?
I dont think its possible to get the iOS simulator working on Windows. But if you are willing to explore a dual boot setup, have patience (and a supported motherboard/processor), then you could use OpenCore or Clover to get a macOS running on your pc. This will give you access to the iOS simulator and the other xcode tools.
If you take this route then you should know that macOS doesnt support ntfs writes out the box. This means that if you decide to create a shared volume that both the mac and windows partition would read and write from, then you would either need a 3rd party ntfs drive (e.g. macfuse) or to format your volume to exFAT (this gave me the best results and was free)
If you intend to run the latest macOS I would recommend going with OpenCore. The latest Clover versions ports pieces of OpenCore to it, and finding documentation on configuring the new Clover was a hassle for me. If you are fine with running Catalina and using an older xcode (and thus older iOS simulator), then I would recommend giving tonymac tools a shot. Building the installer took with very little effort. You need an account to download the tools (this is free but they ask for motherboard/gpu model for community posts and verification that you can actually run their software)
Native testing of iOS apps is only possible on an Apple device. But there are some ways to overcome that.

Xamarin WinPhone - Payload contains two or more files with the same destination path 'sqlite3.dll'

When I try to run the Windows App to "Emulator 8.1 1080P 5.5 Inch" or any of the emulator for WinPhone, I've got this error
Payload contains two or more files with the same destination path
'sqlite3.dll'
I have tried following this solution Unable to load DLL sqlite3 in Universal Windows App running on Mobile but it didn't work in my case.
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? Thank you so much for the advice and help.

can't find the usb_driver folder, please install the Google USB Driver Packager using the Android SDK manager windows 7 32

After getting my app to work in the emulator, I now want to test it on my Sony Xperia Arc Android phone. I follow the instructions from google here http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html but can't get their USB driver to load.
When I plug the phone into the computer via the supplied USB data cable, Windows 7 installs it's own driver and doesn't give me a chance to point to the google driver located here: C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf.
When I go to the device manager and right-click on the Device Manage and try to Update Driver Software to point to the Google driver, it says it already has the best one and won't change it! (even though it doesn't work, ie. no drive label appears for the phone plus the device manager shows an ! for it)
I've spent many hours reading dozens of posts with similar problems but no solutions work for me. Any ideas?

Do AIR apps require the plug-ins (Flash, Acrobat) to run Flash swfs or display PDFs?

This may be a stupid question but I can't seem to find a clear cut answer anywhere. I would like to know:
Can AIR apps display swfs without the Flash player installed on the user's machine?
Can AIR apps display PDFs without Acrobat reader (or some similar PDF viewer)?
From what I can find, the Flash Player is not required on the target machine to run swfs from within an AIR app. Is this correct?
And it also seems that you do require Acrobat 8 or greater installed on the target machine to view PDFs. Is this correct?
Any help clearing this up would be great.
Yes, an AIR app can load an swf without having the user to install Flash Player plug in or Flash standalone player.
No, AIR apps need Acrobat Reader installed. I don't think any other PDF Viewer will do.
You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1 or higher installed as "AIR applications render PDF content using the HTMLLoader class, the WebKit engine, and the AdobeĀ® ReaderĀ® browser plug-in."
Regarding the PDF support, check this link for a detailed information.

System Included Font

I just wrote an application for submission to the app store - and I'm reading on forums that using a font that is not included on a users machine will cause the whole app to crash. I used a font called Handwriting - Dakota, and I never installed it so I'm not 100% sure if it comes with Mac by default. Does anyone else running Mac 10.6 have this font?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
Zach
I've a clean (no non-developer apps) Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) install and this font isn't present. Additionally, it's not listed on the Wikipedia "List of typefaces included with Mac OS X" article either.
At a guess, it's most likely installed by iLife, iWork or similar.
