Classic ASP AspXml createobject fails after windows updates (20212R2 - IIS8)

Today our HTTP server had been updated with KB5001382, KB5001393 and KB5001403.
It's a windows server 2012R2 with IIS8 installed
But after those updates I started getting an error on one of my classic asp pages.
set xml0 = Server.CreateObject("AspXml.AspXml")
set xml = xml0.HttpGet(XML_File)
xml.FirstChild2() (error on this line)
Error message:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'xml'
I tested the XML_file and it loads fine local and on te server (browser).
My hosting provider says its something about case sensitivity but I can't imagine what they mean...
Please make sure IIS and permissions to registry/files/folders related to the DLL involved.
Searched the registry for the Object name. In this case "AspXml.AspXml"
For all registry entries, you should take ownership of the parent registry folders, so please give read access to IIS user account.
Make sure the files/folders had read/execute permission for the IIS user account(s).
Registered the DLL at the command line for good measure.
Rebooted because restarting IIS didn't seem to do it.

Facing issue with ODataSource Connection Manager in SSIS for pulling the data from Sharepoint site

We are trying to pull data from Sharepoint site using SSIS ODataSource Connection Manager. But, we are facing issue with the ODataSource which is failing when we are trying to test the connection. It is giving below error message, even though the password we are giving is correct. We are using Microsoft Online Services as Authentication Type.
TITLE: OData Connection Manager Editor
Test connection failed
The sign-in name or password does not match one in the Microsoft
account system.
(Microsoft.SqlServer.IntegrationServices.ODataConnectionManager)
We are using SSDT Version 2017. Here is the screenshot for your reference.
Can you please let us know, what would be the issue and how to fix this.
Thanks in Advance!!

Error when start new SharePoint project in visual studio 2010

I am a new administrator to a SharePoint farm and I want to start developing web-parts for our sites.
In our company we have installed SharePoint 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2.
And we have installed Microsoft visual studio 2010 on that server.
We also have Microsoft SQL server management studio installed in the same server.
In my computer (Windows 7 professional), I have used remote desktop connection to access that server.
From SharePoint central administration, I have created new application, new site collection and new site.
I started VS with admin rights.
From File => New => Project =>Visual basic => SharePoint =>2010 => Empty SharePoint project => ok
Then I got a dialog box asking me to enter the local site that I want to use for debugging.
I entered: "http://sharepoint:21029/team1/"
I chose deploy as a farm solution checkbox.
Click Validate.
The problem is:
When I click Validate, I get the following error:
Cannot connect to the SharePoint site: "http://sharepoint:21029/team1/" Make sure that the Site URL is valid, that the SharePoint site is running on the local computer, and that the current user as the necessary permissions to access the site.
I made a lot of searches on the internet and finally I found this link:
http://www.sharemuch.com/2010/03/19/resolving-vs-2010-solution-deployment-issues-for-sharepoint-2010-projects/
When I tried to solve my problem as described in the previous link, I could not find the following databases:
SharePoint_Config
SharePoint_AdminContent_[guid]
SharePoint Site Content DB
Why I could not find the databases in the SQL Management Studio?
And why I get the error?
I want to start developing web-parts in visual studio... Any help please!!
Thank you
I got the solution finally :)
I found this critical in Event Viewer:
SQL database log in for 'SharePoint_Config' on instance 'sharepoint' failed.
I did the following steps and it solves my issue and I can now connect visual studio to my SharePoint site successfully ^_^
Grant correct permissions to the database access account
To resolve this issue, assign the database access account and then verify that the account has correct permission in SQL Server.
To assign the database access account:
On the Central Administration Web page, on the Quick Launch, click Security, and in the General Security section click Configure service accounts.
In the Credential Management section, in the upper drop-down list click the correct Web application pool for your Web application.
In the Select an account for this component drop-down list, click the domain account with which you want to associate this Web application pool, or click Register new managed account to associate a new domain account with this application pool.
Click OK to save changes.
Thank you all
What is team1? a sub site?
Try using the root site collection:
http://sharepoint:21029/
If you install sp in standalone mode read here about the connection string because sp uses an embedded edition of SQL server

Migrating MOSS 2007 to sharepoint 2010 giving the error “Invalid Object Name sites”

I am migrating sharepoint 2007 publishing site to sharepoint 2010. These are the steps I have followed
Backup the content database from the SP2007 machine.
Restore that database in sql server 2008 (SP2010 machine).
Create a new web application in SP2010 and create a site collection type of publishing template.
I have run the following stsadm command for adding the content database to the web application
stsadm -o addcontentdb -url http://testsite -databasename WSS_Content_test
But I am getting the Invalid object name sites error. Could anyone help me to resolve this issue ?
Did you follow correct procedures? Did you do a pre-upgrade check?

Can I check which database is running configuration and content for a WSS 3.0 site?

The problem is I have full access to the server where the Sharepoint site is hosted etc, however all i've ever done is maintained the site. I didn't set it up.
There is now an issue where Sharepoint can't connect to the Config or Content databases. I don't know which of our servers run these, so is there anyway I can find out, maybe from a config file or anything which server/database I need to check.
Other websites on the web server are still running fine, I know the database isn't on that same server because i've checked.
Any ideas?
I normally find the easiest way is to look at the site collections settings in Central Administration (which you should be able to access if you have root access to the server WSS 3.0 runs on)
Take the following steps once in the Central Administration site:
Go into Application Management
Go into Content Databases
Select your web application using the selector which is orange in the top right of the main content of the page
Click the name of the database displayed
Once you are at the final point you should see at the top information for Database Server and SQL Server Database Name. Hopefully this should point you in the right direction of where your database is being stored.
If your access to the database content database is cut due to incorrect login details to the SQL server (i.e. the SA account's password has changed), the SQL credentials can be updated here too for the selected content database.
Hope this helps.
