I'm developing a 3 charts dashboard, with pentaho cde (from community ctools).
The 3 charts are displayed one below the other, so they're not visible to the user unless scroll.
My current problem is that when I want to navigate through the charts in the lower part of the dashboard (for which I have to scroll down first), the events I create make all my dashboard refresh, and therefore I loose my previous scroll down, so I have to scroll down again, or force it grammatically.
Tests lead me into the thinking that the problem may be the way I create the events.
I've tried
Dashboards.fireChange('parameter',variable);
or
Dashboards.update(Dashboards.getComponent('myChart'));
But no success, both make a kinda scrollTop.
Is there any way to 'navigate' through a chart, and not loosing the scroll?
'Navigate' means to use a chart to show multiple hierarchies, all in the same chart, so as family > subfamily > article, using the clickable / click action options.

Basically, I’m mostly interested so this autocomplete menu would only show files, or at the very least would prioritise files. How can this be achieved?

That popup is called Search Everywhere and you are on an "All" tab that includes combined results from Classes, Files, Symbols, Actions etc.
Either manually switch to the desired tab (using a mouse or by hitting Tab needed number of times) or invoke this popup for the desired search from the start. For that just use the shortcut for Navigate | File... (Ctrl + Shift + N here on Windows keymap).

Found the solution.
These things are called Actions, and the can be disabled in menu that appears after clicking the small funnel icon in the top right:
I tested, these changes seem to 'survive' a restart.
Yes, at the moment it is remembered only during the session.

I have created a menu and inserted the generic menu widget onto a newly created page. I think by default it gives a verticle menu. I have tried various css codes found on the web to change it to a horizontal menu, but upon saving and refreshing the page I am not seeing any changes.
Can anyone advise me as to how I enable my generic menu to display the navigation links horizontally instead of vertically?
If I delete the menu and insert an html widget with code and links for a horizontal menu, other items such as my mini menu and footer menu display differently.

I'm working for a company as a scholar. And they've asked me to implement an ERP to handle their invoices.
I've selected odoo coz its the only one I can somehow handle. Im not an expert developer and im even worse in ERP/Odoo.
The thing is, that the company has 2 different numeration mask(L2M000 & IW000) for invoices and i can just set one from the account module configuration.
I've tried many things and ive manage to get 2 different print pdf layouts, but i dont know how to set 2 different numeration masks.

Hello follow these steps to change Sequence numbers for desired apps.
You now have to activate Developer Mode to get access to the Technical sub menu within Settings, where all of the familiar administrative management menus are.
First, click the arrow next to the question mark inside the circle (this is found on the right hand side of the screen within the purple bar {Enterprise} or black bar {Community}), and select About.
Next, click Activate Developer Mode.
Finally, visit Settings -> Technical --> Sequences and Identifiers --> Sequences.
You will get options as shown below.
Then edit the one which you want to.
Is it possible to add some links in opportunity navigation pane ? I want to move process (Prospecting (Active), Pre-Quota,...) navigation to marked area.

No you can't do this. The logic of the process flow is controlled by a workflow which you can change. However, the display within the UI is done by the CRM platform and cannot be changed.
The area that you want to move it to is the Command Bar (it used to be called the ribbon in CRM 2011). This can be customized by adding or removing buttons but nothing as extensive as moving entire sections of the form around. You might be able to mimic some of the functionality of the process flow from custom buttons in the command bar. However, I think it would be unlikely to yield much benefit for the amount of work involved.
I have a VB10 app that uses panels, one for menu, one for main screen and then i want to add one for a breadcrumb menu. I use user controls to display in pnlMain and would like the breadcrumb trail to add an link with user control info every time I add a screen to pnlmain...and remove the link when I click on the previous link.
I would like to build the links dynamically like they do here: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/17714/Create-a-Breadcrumb-Menu-in-VB-NET-WinForms,
but I couldnt get the links to display when I ran the solution.
and if I get the links to show, how do I associate the user control to that link?
