If the main FlipView's current item is a flipview,you can drag and scroll its item on two directions.But if it is a listbox,only one direction is available.means before your finger up,you cannot drag and scroll it on the other direction(Horizental or Vertical).
so how to make flipview's behavier as the same as listbox?

If you extract the default template from the FlipView you can see how the style has these setters:

Here's a potentially more flexible way that I normally go with.
First let's create a base Style that holds some default values for all the icons.

Generally UI elements can be used once (or saying different - have only one parent) - this is probably why it only works for the first button in your case. One solution may be to define DataTemplate and use it as ContentTemplate, so each button creates its own icon:

How do I eliminate space on the right side of a GridView item

So I have struggled with this before but have never found a good solution.
I need a a 2 column GridView with items that will fill into the left and the right with the items on the left being left justified and the items on the right being right justified. I want the 2 columns to be edge to edge with a space in the middle. So far I have this but the items don't fill in the container horizontally. The right margin messes it up.

In XAML, we can use ItemsControl.ItemContainerStyleSelector property to apply different styles to odd and even items. This property sets a reference to a custom StyleSelector logic class. The StyleSelector returns different Style values to use for the item container based on characteristics of the object being displayed. Following is a simple sample about how to do this.
Firstly, we need two styles for odd and even items.

Semantic Zoom always brings back to the first item

I am trying to implement a semantic zoom in C#/Xaml for Windows 8. I succeed in displaying the zoom out and the zoom in. But when i click on item in the zoom out view I always come back to the first item of my zoom-in view.
here is how I grouped my items :

Replacing the ScrollViewer with SemanticZoom
The first and most important thing to do is to completely remove the ScrollViewer named “itemGridScrollViewer” from the Movies.xaml. The SemanticZoom control won’t work correctly if it’s inside the ScrollViewer.
Many people have problems getting the ZoomedOutView and ZoomedInView “in sync”. The usual problem is that when the item in ZoomedOutView is clicked, the ZoomedInView doesn’t scroll to the correct position. The reason for this problem usually is that the SemanticZoom –control is inside a ScrollViewer.
So effectively, I just remove the scrollViewer and it works like a charm :

I think grouping may be the key here. Make sure your CollectionViewSource has IsSourceGrouped="True".
Also, you don't need to set
ItemsSource = this.cvs1.View.CollectionGroups;
It can be set
ItemsSource = this.cvs1;

Metro style : Scrolling with mouse wheel

I have gridview in the gridview and want to implement the mouse wheel scrolling functionality. So I added this block into the internal gridview

I'll try to describe this situation more deeply. I have main screen that should realize functionality like on the main screen in Windows 8. It should be zoomed in/out. That's why i use SenaticZoom. If you re-template the GridView and remove the inner ScrollViewer, then mouse-wheel scrolling will work, but swipe-to-select will not work. If you want both, the trick is to use the AddHandler() method to add a handler for the PointerWheelChanged event and set the e.Handled property to false. That will allow the mouse wheel events to bubble up to your outer ScrollViewer properly:

UPDATE: sorry, I misread the question. If you place a GridView in a GridView, you do have nested ScrollViewers and you do need that code on the inner GridViews or mousewheel scrolling will not work.
However, why do you nest GridViews in a GridView?
Take a look at the grouping functionality built into winrt.
Alternatively, place the inner GridViews in a simple ItemsControl with a StackPanel with horizontal orientation as the ItemsPanel, and that ItemsControl in a ScrollViewer. If you do place multiple GridViews in a ScrollViewer (directly or indirectly), you do need that code to remove the ScrollViewer from in inner (i.e. nested) GridViews, or mousewheel scrolling will not work.
ORIGINAL ANSWER:
That code is needed only if you place the GridView in a ScrollViewer.
If the the GridView is the only thing to display, you don't need to place it in a ScrollViewer, and you don't need that code.
I'm thinking your real question is about how to layout GridView correctly, as the templates included in Visual Studio 11 beta (from consumer preview) do a really bad job there.

Now there is only one ScrollViewer, i.e. the one in the GridView, so there are no conflicts from two ScrollViewers nested in each other and the one ScrollViewer handles the mouse automatically.
In addition, the margin is correct, but when scrolling items are allowed to move into the margin area.
