I don't know the specific name for this button, but it is the one with the microphone that when you press it, it allows you to speak, and it will convert your speech into text.
I haven't been able to find anything on this, but when I click to edit a textfield I want that button to be pressed automatically so I can just begin to speak and then click done so that it will convert the audio to text.
I don't know if this is possible and can't seem to find anything on it... Probably because my search is weak since I have no idea how to ask it.
If anyone knows how to do this, or knows where there is anything on it, I would appreciate it greatly.
You cannot do that.
That is a part of Siri.
Till now Apple not provided any api to interact with siri.

I'm building a home surveillance system for use in my home and possibly to publish on my blog. However; I've ran into a problem. We only use a mouse for input, and most people use only mouse. So, I needed to build an on-screen keyboard. I got a VBA frame and put a text box, and layed out a load of buttons to make a keyboard. I need help with the code that makes it so that when you press a key it will put that character in the text input box so that the user can see what they are entering. If you know, or could suggest a fix, please reply! Thank you!
I really like how IntelliJ displays the information of the type of parameters that you are required to fill in as you are writing the code. The problem is that this info sometimes disappears if u click somewhere to check something etc. I never quite know how to get it to display that information again in same fashion. So I always spend some time to fiddle around until it displays that info again in the same fashion. I know you can hold down on ctrl and hover over the method name to bring up parameters information but its not quite the same and it then does not highlight on what parameter you are currently on. IntelliJ also brings up required parameters type of information when you are starting to go wrong. It brings up this big separate box and you can get very clear view of what needs to be done. I've taken a screenshot of the type of information that I'm on about. Both of them are on the same pic.
Please check it out.
My question: is there a way to bring this information up via keystrokes or mouse input at will? I've tried to google for an answer but I haven't had any joy. Please advise as I'm sure someone else might like this information too.
Thank you.
PS. I know that a good code does not usually have that many parameters but in my case there is not much that can be done.
Default shortcut for that is CTRL-P when cursor is inside the brackets.
im not sure if its the right place to put my question, but i think maybe get an answer here.
the last few days thinking about a way to make μυ work easier.
What I want is to write by hand and convert into text on the computer.
namely when I am on a page with multiple text forms like this im writing now,
when i choose a text form with a pen (like wacom graphic tablet) write on a surface and the automaticaly when i stop or pressing a button the text turn into text in the form.
my title say about wacom because i found bamboo scribe.. if someone uses this please explain me whats can do and if can work for me.
i test myscript. with fullscreen tool wich you can write everywhere on the screen is easiest but when you finish you have to press a button on the program to insert the text in the selected area.
so my question is there any way to press that button with the button placed on stylus pen?
i saw that you can set functions when a button clicked on the wacom tablet or on pen.
i have not bought yet anything because im searching if is out there anything could do what i want better. something made for that particular job
Thanks and sorry for my bad english..
i'm making a windows application that would open a program and click on certain coordinates, first i need to know how to get a coordinate, which i already know, but how do I let my mouse click on a certain position? I tried putting this as a comment, but SO wouldn't put the comment up after I typed it, so I had to put what I had as an answer.
Here are two links that might have what you're looking to do: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/7b68f005-1d09-4085-b236-b05797df3bf0/how-to-make-the-mouse-click
and

And if you just want to click a button, you could use
button.Performclick()
But I don't think that there's any simple way (such as Mouse.Click()) to make the mouse click anywhere.

i'm not sure if its just me. i noticed that on the mac or maybe its just in chrome in general but when you press down the caps lock key on a password input box a little grey notification image pops up. the problem is this covers an important feature on my site.
Is there a way to tell it where to pop up? i have seen it pop up in different place such as inside the input field on other sites.
Would appreciate if anyone has any ideas or knows how to sort it. thanks
