The Problem with the above script is.. Script able to catch only "corrupt cp file detected"...only... In-fact the above all array cases are true but not catching and writing in the log file... not sure why it is not catching the remaining errors...

Additional Issue
I see no sessions logs saved in -log-output-dir and dir has the write permissions.
Tried giving session timeout with 4m but it is not helping.

The job completes and terminates but loses connection afterwards and I never get a
"OK"
for the status update.
I have added the "Heartbeat Interval = 1 Minute" to all the Daemons and still no luck. Using mysql as the database on the Director

For anyone having the same issues, I was able to fix this problem between the SD and director by adding the heartbeat interval to the clients and adjusting the keep alive time with
sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_time=60
on both the Storage daemon and the director. Connecting remotely to the director with the bconsole also interrupted jobs so I ran bconsole on the same machine as the director and connected via ssh.

What can be wrong? I supposed that hadoop classes should be on classpath in yarn application. How to fix that?
I assume you are launching the application with the result of hadoop classpath in the classpath (as shown in the example). You need to make sure the result of running hadoop classpath on launcher box points to local paths that contain hadoop jars. The other thing you might want to check is the stdout file in the container log directory. It prints out classpath that it uses to launch the application and see if you find hadoop jars there.
I'm using Apache Tomcat JDBC connection pooling in my project. I'm confused because under heavy load I keep seeing the following error:

My expectation was that with pooling, requests for new connections would be held in a queue until a connection became available. Instead it seems that requests are rejected when the pool has reached capacity. Can this behaviour be changed?

This working as per design/implementation, if you see the log Timeout: Pool empty. Unable to fetch a connection in 10 seconds and your configuration is p.setMaxWait(10000);. The requesting thread waits for 10seconds(10000 millseconds, maxwait) before giving up waiting for connection.
Now you have two solutions, increase the number of maxActive connection or check if there are any connection leaks/long running queries(which you do not expect).
