I have imported the folder containing SUPQueueConnection.h to the project and to the project root too. Still it is showing the same error SUPQueueConnection.h file not found.
And we imported all such needed .h and .m files to the project root.
Is there any other way for doing it?
Can anyone please help me in solving this problem?
In project navigation bar of your project check the folder you imported that it actually contains SUPQueueConnection.h file or not and if it is there try to import header file in the class in which you are using "SUPQueueConnection.h" file. Also if project is showing SUPQueueConnection.h file then right click on this file and click "Show IN Finder" option to see where actually the file is.Make sure it is copied in project folder.
If it does not solve the problem try deleting this file and drag and drop SUPQueueConnection.h again in project directly and make sure while copying on target your project is check marked.
Have you made sure that the files that aren't found are actually in your Xcode project? Make sure you can see the files somewhere in the sidebar. I've never actually tried it, but I don't think you can simply access files in the project directory root, they must be in your project. Xcode has changed since I used it last (been doing other things) but I think you can still add files by right clicking somewhere in your sidebar, also unless its changed you can add external files using a button in the file menu

I deleted the file Form1.vb on folder/explorer because I accidentally created it under MyProject in the solutions explorer. but when I tried to rebuild it I'm having below error already.
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error Unable to create a manifest resource name for "My Project\Form1.resx". Could not find file 'C:\Users......\My Project\Form1.vb'.
all data of files is stored in the solution itself, Go to Solution Explorer, Select the file
Either
1.) Right click the folder, Click Delete, Confirm Deletion Process if prompted.
2.) Left click the folder and hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Do either of these will remove it from your solution and thus, the project. If you have folders being sync'd with git hub it will also update it this way, don't just straight up delete folders from the actual windows explorer though, this could cause pointer issues for reference.
I found the solution.
I created same file with same filename confirmed to replace this with the missing.
then added it again on "MyProject". Project -> Show All Files from the main menu.
I think what I needed was just the Project > show all files.
thank you to everyone who answered above it made me search for this
I am facing build fail error after moving Bridging-Header
objective-c swift on xcode6.
Before I moved header file, it had been working fine.
The error shows header file not exist. The header file path remains still old path in error log. I tried build clean, but still old path remains.
How can clean the objc-header-path?
You need to update the path in your project's Build Settings to point to the new bridging header location.
Click your target and then click 'Build Settings' then search for Objective-C Bridging Header
You'll find the path to the bridging header in your target's Build Settings, under "Swift Compiler - Code Generation"/"Objective C Bridging Header".
I tried with Xcode6.1-Beta, as well.
But still impossible to update the objective-c header path.
I don't know where the configuration file is. I gave up to figure out.
Finally, I deleted the target xcode project and recreated new project.
Now it is working.
Yes it's possible.
Delete the .h file
Clear the path at Objective-C Bridging Header
Create new Objective-C File
Name your header file to the same name as before (popup will ask you to create new header file)
Goto File > Project Settings > Data Location
Make sure your path is correct and press "Done"
Your app should run again pointing to the right location of the header file and delete the files ModuleCache
Happens to me many times when i move app folder around.
I had a workspace that I was using when I had the same thing happen. I moved my project to a different folder. Despite having a relative path on my bridge headers, it was still referencing the old location when building and threw an error.
Here's what I did to fix this:
Close the workspace
Open the .xcworkspace file using TextWrangler. TextWrangler allowed me to navigate the package to /xcuserdata/[username].xcuserdatad/UserInterfaceState.xcuserstate. I did a search for the old path and found it. Make the change to the new location of the header file.
This by itself didn't fix it. After cleaning and building, the old value showed back up! Then I deleted the Build folder. It has a ModuleCache that I think was holding on to the old value as well.
After doing this, my project picked up my new value and I was able to build the project. I'm not certain step 2 is necessary. But it did store the old value in there.
In my case, I changed the path from relative path to absolute path and solved.
like
From:
project_name/project_name-Bridging-Header.h
To:
$(SRCROOT)/project_name/project_name-Bridging-Header.h
I wish to use IDEA to edit a directory full of files of no particular type. So, I create a new project of type Empty Project and point it at my directory.
The project view now shows the files in the directory itself. But, it doesn't show any subdirectories. This is very strange.
Even more strangely, I can still use New -> Directory to create a new directory. From the command line I can see that the directory has been created; but, from within IDEA, it's still not appearing.
What's going on here? And, more importantly, how can I actually get it to show me my subdirectories?
This is IntelliJ IDEA 12.1.1. I did find IntelliJ does not show project folders, which sounds similar. But, it is referring to a different version of IDEA and they're not using an Empty Project. So, I don't think it's relevant.
In IntelliJ, you have to create at least one module. As CrazyCoder said in the comments, adding a module sets the root folder of what to display in the Project pane.
Here are steps that I took to show empty folders.
In a terminal window
mkdir one
mkdir one/two
mkdir one/two/three
mkdir one/two/three/four
In Intellij 15.0.2, I created a new project, selected Empty Project and set the Project Location to the one folder.
After creating the project, IntelliJ prompts me with a Project Structure dialog with Modules selected in the navigation tree. I clicked the '+' button in the middle pane to add a module. I chose Static Web as the module type to prevent creation of an additional src folder. I set the Content root and the Module file location of the module to the same one folder.
I clicked Finish and then Ok. This gave me this structure
I removed a file from the Framework section of my Xcode application and now I want to add the file back. However when I try to add the file back I get the following alert.
Could not copy /Users/brian/Downloads/iphone-exif-0-9.1(1)/Release-simulator-iphonesimulator/libiphone-exif.a to /Developer/CS193/GraffitiMap/libiphone-exif.a.
What is going on here?
When you add a file in you project, you can either copy it in you project or just reference the file somewhere else on your hard drive.
When you removed the file from you project, you didn't remove it from you project folder. Xcode can't write at that path since there's already a file, and gives you an error.
Just remove the file that's already in your project folder from the Finder.
I have a problem using Intellij Idea.
I am absolutely unable to load text file as InputStream - it doesnt matter where do I put the file (main/java, main/resources...) it just can't find the file - in Eclipse everything works just fine.
I tried setings->compiler->resource patterns and added ?*.txt but that doesn't seem to work either.
Any help is appreciated.
If you load it as a File, make sure that Working Directory is properly set in IDEA Run/Debug Configuration, since it's the default directory where Java will look for a file when you try to access it like new File("file.txt"). Working directory should be set to the directory of your project containing .txt files.
If you load files as a classpath resource, then they should reside somewhere under Source root and will be copied to the classpath according to Settings | Compiler | Resource Patterns.
If you can't get it working, upload your project somewhere including IDEA project files so that we can point to your mistake.
Look at the image, notice that the txt files are in the project root, and not the source folders (in blue).
If you open the Project Structure dialog, and click on Modules and select your module - are the correct folders marked as Source Folders on the sources tab?
Link for how to get to Project Structure dialog
Also, if you print out the absolute path of that file you are trying to read, is that anywhere near where you expect it to be?
An easy way to figure out the same would be to try creating a file in the same fashion and see where it gets created in your project. You can put your input file at the same location and it should work just fine (if it doesn't, you should check your resource pattern which might be causing the file to be not copied over in the build output).
This method actually gives you the working directory of your intellij settings which is pointed out in the accepted answer. Just sharing as I had similar trouble and I figured out this way. :)
