Close a Popup when Tapped - windows-8

How can I close a Popup when someone Tapped it?
it is possible to set IsLightDismissEnabled to true but it will close the Popup when someone Tap somewhere else rather than the Popup itself.

You can add event handler for Tapped in which you can popup.IsOpen = false;
the purpose of IsLightDismissEnabled is to close popup when it loses focus.

Close keyboard when opening tab on a single click

I want to close the keyboard when the user clicks a particular tab.
What's happening now is that when the keyboard is open and the user wants to switch to another tab, he must close/minimize the keyboard first.
The prop on a ScrollView keyboardShouldPersistTaps does what I want, but only for a ScrollView, not for a TabNavigator component.
You can use a function to hide the keyboard and call it from onClick of that tab.
This is the function you should declare in the same class in which onClick of that tab exists.
#SuppressWarnings("ConstantConditions")
public void hideKeyBoard(View view){
InputMethodManager imm = (InputMethodManager) getSystemService(INPUT_METHOD_SERVICE);
imm.hideSoftInputFromWindow(getCurrentFocus().getWindowToken(),0);
}
And then from the onClick, just call this by using hideKeyBoard();.
This will hide the keyboard whenever that tab is tapped.
And You should provide some of your code if seeking help.

stop colorbox popup closing when clicking anywhere outside the popup

We have a colorbox modal popup which we don't want to close unless the user clicks the "X" at the top right of the popup. Currently, it is closing if you click anywhere outside the popup area.
Many thanks!
Paul
Colorbox has options to modify that functionality. Just add this to your colorbox instantiation:
$("#selector").colorbox({
//your other colorbox options
//...
escKey: false,
overlayClose: false
});

making a thumbnail toolbar (windowsAPICodePack,windows 7) button invisible in vb.net

I'm trying to make a thumbnail toolbar button (TTB from now on)visible when the it is clicked. I know how to do stuff when it is clicked, AddHandler etc. But if I tell it TTB.visible=false then it doesn't become invisible. If I put TTB.enabled = False it will be disabled, so it's only the visible that isn't working.
Also I put a button on my form (not a TTB) and when that is click wrote, TTB.visible = false and that didn't work, so there is no way to make it invisible.
Try set TTB.visible=true after you Add it into toolbar button list.
