I just upgraded my host machine from windows 7 to windows 8. I was running an OSX VM under VirtualBox for iOS dev. Since the upgrade I can no longer run my OSX VM. I get the error VT-x not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
I checked the bios setting and hardware virtualization is still on. Which would only make sense since the only thing that changed was the OS.

I'm running a Ubuntu VM with VirtualBox and I have both the dkms and virtualbox-guest-additions packages installed. I read in this answer that the system clock should sync with the host automatically with the Guest Additions, but mine doesn't seem to be doing that. What are some possible reasons / how do I rectify this? I've tried searching for this all over but most of the hits I get off Google tell you how to disable the automatic time sync, not enable it.
My host machine is running OS X 10.8, if that's of any help.

I'd like to run Raspbian in a virtual machine on Windows 8. It is built for the ARM processor on a Raspberry Pi.
Is this possible?
Here is a tutorial on how to run Raspberry Pi under windows using QEMU:

Hope this helps.

when trying to install Apache service through Wamp Server, the following error comes up:
httpd.exe - Application error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close application.
Port 80 is not actually being used.
I am running it in a Windows 7 machine. I have tried uninstalling it, removing the folder and registry keys but error persist.
Any help will be really appreciated it.
Thanks
Try installing the wampserver (32 bits and php 5.3) 2.2E even if you have 64 bits windows 7.
I had the same problem. tried everything. But in the end this worked. I have 64 bits windows 7 installed.

I would like the great majority of my site to be on a linux server, but I would like a small section of my site to be able to host silverlight apps.
Is it possible to have two servers, one linux and the other windows under the same domain?
You might want to consider hosting your Silverlight on Linux too - you can do it.
Run Silverlight with Apache Server (Under linux)

I was uninstalling Postgresql DB from my pc when I must have deleted Apache program as well. Can anyone please let me know how to re-install Apache back to my Mac. I'm using OS X Lion 10.7.4 I'm quiet novice on this subject too.
Mamp is really useful http://www.mamp.info/en/index.html far better than the built-in implementation.
