me/photos and albums not returning all photos - api

When I make a request to me/photos I should expect to get all photos that I've been tagged in. However, I am not getting this behavior. There seems to be a few pictures here and there that are missing from the JSON results. When I go on FB, they are visible to me.
This is happening to some albums as well.
Any thoughts?

Facebook's App Settings page allows users to change the exposure of their content to applications other people use.

If I have prevented applications from viewing my photos, when you login to a Facebook application you will not be able to see any photos I have uploaded. This is still the case even if I have tagged you in my photos.
If you, however, visit the Facebook website directly you will be able to see all the photos you have been tagged in.
This accounts for the discrepancy we have been seeing.
Tested using 2 Facebook accounts.

instagram retrieve hashtag images - update June 1

I am aware of the update to Instagram apis. I have read through the documentation regarding fetching hashtag images. I'm confused regarding 2 points -
They have a section "Endpoints", which gives the url for fetching images using tags - https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/{tag-name}?access_token=ACCESS-TOKEN
At the same time, when i try to submit for review (under Permissions Review section), in order to get access token, i get this message -
"This use case is not supported. We do not approve the public_content permission for one-off projects such as displaying hashtag based content on your website. As alternative solution, you can show your own Instagram content, or find a company that offers this type of service (content discover, moderation, and display)."
The 2nd point makes me believe that Instagram has stopped sharing hashtag images to apis, at the same time i can find a lot of widgets still fetching hashtag images. How do they do that? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
The 2nd point makes me believe that Instagram has stopped sharing hashtag images to apis,
Correct. Instagram has made business decision to block most developers from accessing this content.
at the same time i can find a lot of widgets still fetching hashtag images.
This doesn't tell you much. They might have gotten their app approved for other purposes. Also it appears that Instagram has made some exceptions for big apps (like Tinder). Life is not fair.
How do they do that? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
You probably cannot. 99% of the use cases are not allowed and so they will reject your app if you try to submit it. Read this short article about what you can and cannot do with the new Instagram API
The other widgets you are talking about probably have presented Instagram with one of the valid use cases to fetch the data. They are able to get only the public content. This new restriction is probably a business decision. If you would still want to get the data you are looking for, you shopuld possibly go to a third party data provider who sell such data

Retrieving favorites (i.e. likes) from Facebook Graph API or FQL in the user's order

When viewing your favorites from the front-end of facebook.com at facebook.com/[username]/favorites, those favorites can be arranged with the first five showing up as thumbnails.
Is it possible to retrieve the likes from the api in the same order defined by the user on their profile? It doesn't seem possible based on what I've found with playing around with /me/music and poking around the fql tables.
It seems to me that we can create more meaningful apps for Facebook users if we are able to know how they have ordered their favorites.
With the latest Facebook design (June 2013), it's no longer possible to edit the order various likes appear on your profile. So this question is moot.

How would I allow the user of my iphone app to upload their own photos, all to a single google picasa account?

In my iOS application, I have a single google picasa account for which all of the application's users can upload their personal photos to. Now, I can get to the photo album to appear so that the users can view the photos that are already there:
[webView loadRequest:[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL
URLWithString:#"myPicasaAlbumURL"]]];
However, I cannot figure out how to allow the users to upload their own photos. Also, how could I automatically log them in with the google picasa account that they will be uploading their photos to? I have seen the picasa developers documentation but I cannot make much sense out of it, and I am desperate for help at this point. Any ideas?
Both Picasa and Flickr do not give you the direct ability to do what you are wishing. If they give you that then people would abuse it to use the services as a cheap image hosting which is what you it appears you want(I once tried the same). Flickr has the ability to email the photo to them with a unique email address and they will automatically post it but that would require you posting the photo to your server and using php or another language to send it off and its a very tacky solution. You might want to consider hosting the images yourself and doing some simple server side code. It would be more flexible in the end.

Unable To Download Likes And Comments

I use the Facebook API to enable a user to download their data from Facebook, and any likes and comments made on their photos or posts.
On a few occasions customers report that their likes and comments do not download and on a furthur investigation I found that the API is returning an error with the message "Unknown Error". Does anyone know why this happens sometimes to some accounts? I have absolutely no idea.... I have tried using FQL and Open Graph API and still have the same problem, when it happens to a customer it happens for all their likes and comments across their account.
Thanks :)

Video hosting on YouTube, Vimeo, or alternatives

I want to allow users to store some videos on YouTube using my website. These videos are personal videos for the person storing them. The videos would presumably be transferred from my site to the YouTube site using the APIs. I would imagine all the videos would be stored in a single account (that I make as the site operator). It is important to note that the videos correspond to the individuals that save them - i.e. all users can't see all videos. The security access is done by my server and should not be accessible by anyone on the Internet.
A user must go through my website, enter his password, etc. (that I validate) and then I provide him access to his videos and once he is successfully authenticated, he can see his videos - that he views on my website.
Is this possible using YouTube or Vimeo APIs?
YouTube Direct API seems to be something similar to Your needs. Have a look at it.
Edit: Link, thanks #Simon.
