I heard iPhone ios6 is able to upload files.
I have a very simple PHP upload form and it doesn't work.
I've used this PHP script for years on my desktop (Chrome or Firefox or curl), where it works fine. Interesting Chromium on ios6 which IIUC uses Safari errors out with "Missing file".
Any ideas where I might be going wrong? I'm a Archlinux user so I'm not privy to MacOSX etc.
Update: I have a reduced test case here http://ios6.dabase.com/ where the problem seems to be uploading with digest authentication enabled (that's how I roll).

I am displaying a video with the html5 video element. The source is a pre-signed url from Wasabi s3. It works well on Chrome but it won't play on Safari. I did some research and it seems like this is usually due to the server not being configured to return a 206 code. However, I did check the server and it seems to support byte-range requests.

Ok, it seems like I usually get stuck on those minuscule problems. Turns out that Safari, unlike Chrome, doesn't like to play files without file extension. Adding ".mp4" to my files solved the problem...
I have a sapui5 app that I'm trying to test on mobile Safari using remote web inspector. Since it loads javascript files dynamically (uses MVC), it only lists these files under XHR. Apparently, because it's XHR, I can't add a breakpoint to these files.
Is there any way for me to debug this? Or force web inspector to load these files some place else? It seems a bit useless otherwise.
I have the latest version of iOS and Safari on my iPad.
I know this question has been asked previously but nobody answered it. So I'm hoping this one will gain a bit more traction.

I'm currently trying to set up a connection between my web client and my iOS app, but for some reason my iOS client only sees a black box when using Chrome (version 33). I can see the video just fine if I use Firefox (both in my app and when I put the browsers side-by-side, they can see each other).
This doesn't appear to be a documented known issue with the JavaScript SDK, and I can't see any recent discussion about this on the forums (last post was mine).

I suggest cd'ing into samples/OpenTokHelloWorld and running python -m SimpleHTTPServer, as it can't be run from a file:/// path.

Edit: after testing on other machines, it may be something specific to my environment even though none of my extensions run in Incognito and I don't have any custom plugins installed.
It looks like the OpenTok mobile SDKs with the specific webcam I was using has issues. On Android the video stream will display for a brief moment then segfault, and on iOS there will be no video at all.
I have tested this many times and could not reproduce what you are seeing in your chrome.
Without seeing any console errors or iOS logs the best suggestion is to try clearing your cache, or maybe restarting your computer (longshot)
Is it possible to upload an image created by the phone using Sencha Touch but without any dependency on PhoneGap? Basically my app will be accessible via the web, and not installed natively on the device. I want to be able to select an image from the phone storage and then be able to upload it to the service. I effectively want the same functionality as you would get with the file upload control on a normal desktop browser.
Is this possible, and if so how?
There is a current solution in its infancy, but it works. I tested it on my Nexus 7 using Chrome. Here is the list of compatibility:
Android (4.0 up) browser support as regular

Desktop webbrowser and mobile browser are different in lot many cases. To access file upload option you need to access the OS API which is not possible using javascript only. Phonegap provides us option to connect js with device API. If you can find a way to do this, without using Phonegap, then may be you can fix, or else its not possible.
We have been facing a weird problem with PDF documents displayed in Safari. This problem is reproducible in many of our machines. The problem is like this..
Adobe Reader has support for hit highlighting in PDF documents when it is being viewed in any browser. For example,
http://www.mysite.com/myfile.pdf#xml=http://www.somesite.com/words.txt
This URL should highlight the words specified in words.txt file. But, unfortunately many of our Safari browsers (on Windows machines) don't highlight any text in opened pdf file. The same URL works fine in rest of the browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome). I could not figure out where the problem is!

Safari uses a built-in PDF plugin exclusive to safari (even on iPhone)
This is different from the Adobe's plugin and the API is different too.
Most of the things that work with the Adobe plugin won't work with the one inside Safari.
you may be able to find information about forcing Safari to use the Adobe Reader plugin (Google is your friend) but that would be a per user setting, something you cannot control on everybody's machine.
I'm also looking for help on this to control pdf files inside safari using javascript.
