I would like to get a miniPC with WinCE 7 OS, does any analogs exist like this or this ?
The eBox 3300MX ships with CE 6.0R3 but there's a 7.0 BSP available, so getting 7.0 on to it is pretty simple.

We have a legacy system that runs on Coldfusion 6.1 with JVM 1.6.0 build 24. It appears that TLSv 1.1 was added in build 111. Is it possible to get Coldfusion 6.1 to work with that build (or higher) and what would I have to do?
TLS 1.1 is only supported in Java 1.8 on CF10 (Oddly 1.7 and above in CF11)
I dont think CF 6.1 will work properly on higher versions of JDK. You may want to try to upgrade it to 1.8 to see if that helps.
See this Adobe Blog as a starting guide to updating your Java: http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/how-to-change-upgrade-jdk-version-of-coldfusion-server

I created an application for WinCE using Lazarus and Firebird embedded. When I run it on my PC,it works correctly, but when I compile it for WinCE/arm and run it on my WinCE device, I become the following
error:
"Can not load Firebird client library fbclient.dll.Check your installation."
I have this file in the project's directory, but it does not work.
Maybe I must use another version of Firebird embedded or fbclient.dll (for WinCE)?
Thanks!
There is no official WinCE/arm version of the fbclient.dll, nor of fbembed.dll. Most likely you are currently using a Windows/x86 version of fbclient.dll. There is fork for CE of Firebird 1, but that seems to have been abandoned in 2002.
See FirebirdFaq: Does Firebird work on WinCE?
So I finally got my two Kinect v2's in the mail, and was looking forward to get some raw data from them and see how much they interfere with each other. I went to go download the SDK, and for some reason I had never noticed the Windows 8 requirements... As in Windows 7 isn't supported.
This feels pretty bogus and unnecessary, but fine I can't do anything about that. Before I waste some money to upgrade my machine to an OS that I really don't want, is there any way to get the Kinect v2s to talk to a Windows 7 machine (or maybe even Ubuntu)? I don't need any of the fancy skeletal detection or anything; I just want raw xyz-rgb data. I was reading about OpenNI (and their new Apple overlords), and I was hoping that by some miracle their last open source distributions would be forwards compatible with the Kinect v2s?
TL;DR: Are there any free SDKs that can interface with a Kinect v2 on Windows 7-64bit?
look at libfreenect2
It looks like its not ready yet but there are people working on it. So you might want help them along.
Update 2014-10-28
The Project is live and kicking and works fine
Just dropping by to say that I successfully 'installed' the Kinect 2 SDK to windows 7 and it is being recognized by driver4vr.
I'm not precisely sure which files where required so I'll just post my process.
Install VirtualBox (and enable CPU virtualization in bios to support 64bit OS)
Install win 8.1 x64 in VirtualBox
Monitor the VirtualBox c-drive for changes (I used spy-the-spy)
Download and install the Kinect 2 SDK in VirtualBox
Check spy-the-spy for all files added, and copy them to your Windows 7 OS on the same location. (It also installs some VC redistributables, so skip the files already there)
Reboot windows 7 and enjoy Kinect 2.0 on the final decent MS OS.
The Windows 8 is MINIMUM requirement to developing kinect v2
you do not need use Skeleton(kinect V1) or Body(Kinect V2) to track body or skeleton .
you need use to MultiFrameSource Class
I am using qtp 11.0 32 bit trial version on windows 8.1 pro 64 bit OS. Problem is qtp is not generating the systemutil.run command on recording an application. what the problem would be ? I already tried setting the windows application utility to generate system.util command in tools--> options but still the problem persists
According to QTP11's Product Availability Matrix (which you can only see if you have an HP passport and I suppose you don't have considering that you're using a trial version). Windows 8 and 8.1 are not supported with QTP11. This isn't surprising since QTP 11 was released almost two years before Windows 8.
I know for a fact that QTP11 doesn't support IE11 which is the earliest version of IE supported on windows 8.1.
Since you're using a trial version in any case why not download the latest version (UFT 12)?
QTP was united with Service Test and is now called Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and version 12 does support Windows 8.1.
I have a Symbol MC 75. It is running Windows Mobile 6.5, but there are several updates after the basic Windows Mobile 6.5:
Windows Mobile 6.5
Windows Mobile 6.5.1
Windows Mobile 6.5.3
Windows Mobile 6.5.5
How do I know which one I am running?
I went to the about page for my device and it just says Windows Mobile 6.5. Does that mean I only have the 6.5 or is it not bothering to show me the update version?
NOTE: The CE OS version is: 5.2.21840 (build 21840.5.0.60) in case that helps.
Note 2: The reason I care is that there is a Developer Tool Kit that is targeted for 6.5.3 and I want to know if I can use it.
It looks like builds 5.2.28xxx are for 6.5.3 and 5.2.21xxx are for 6.5

source 1 (and in case the google-cached page doesn't show here's the original)
source 2 (read the comments areas too)
Looks like the start button is on the bottom with 6.5.3. Since it is still on the top corner I am guessing I am on 6.5 or 6.5.1.
