Yii internationalization(i18n) - yii

Yii internationalization(i18n)
protected/config/main.php
'language' => 'en_us',
protected/views/site/index.php
<?php
echo Yii::t('test','user');
The translated file should be created in there?

From Yii site (http://www.yiiframework.com/doc/guide/1.1/en/topics.i18n#locale-and-language)
Info: Yii comes with locale data for nearly every language and region. The data is obtained from Common Locale Data Repository (CLDR). For each locale, only a subset of the CLDR data is provided as the original data contains a lot of rarely used information. Users can also supply their own customized locale data. To do so, configure the CApplication::localeDataPath property with the directory that contains the customized locale data. Please refer to the locale data files under framework/i18n/data in order to create customized locale data files.

Asp.NET database multi-lang design [Include HTML]

,
I read lots of answer here and learn something about this topic but I need more help.Some pages in my project are getting the html(page body) from database.For my controls I use resx files and it works great, but now I need save the html values with multi-lang in my database.
I have a admin panel for my project and I edit sometimes the html or text or pictures in my editor and save it back to DB.I cache the html values in my website and get better performance for my project.But the html text parts is yet in my default lang I will create multi-lang.
I thought of a few possible solutions,
First solution was copying all of the same HTML data and create for all lang one by one
First solution problem : But later this doesnt make sense If I copy the values and create for other lang, then I had be repeating unnecessarily in my database the html values.
My second solution was like this :
this I hid it in the normal way in my DB (only a part of html in one column)
<li>Hello World</li>
<li>Hello Me</li>
Solution :
<li>[HelloWorld]</li>
<li>[HelloMe]</li>
string newHtmlValue = oldValue.ReplaceByLang("[HelloWorld]", GetCulture();,"Hallo Welt");
***// GetCulture(); return for this example german !
I create a new table for the replace text like the key is [HelloWorld]
1(ROW)- [HelloWorld] eng Hello World
2(ROW)- [HelloWorld] german Hallo Welt
3(ROW)- [HelloWorld] fr bonjour tout le monde
and in my project I select the right html value by culture lang.
Now my question is have you any better idea ?
I hope I've been clear and not messy, but if you need more informations I'll be glad to tell you more.Sorry for english.
I would prefer to store all your localized string in single repository like - DB or Satellite assembly.
For Example if you choose DB as repository - Define 3 tables (minimal structure)
1.Locale - Define your locale
2.Resourcemaster - Define your source string and reference Key and this key should be unique in you application and define a standard format like Module_Control_Section ..
3.LocalizedResource - Define your localized sting of Resourcemaster with Locale Key. Foreign key with ResourceMaster and Locale
In front End you can resole any string like control , Html string with localized string and Unique reference key.
Also Implement UI Caching / API caching for better performance.

Jmeter : Number of active threads

I am using jmeter in elemetery freya (14.04)
I have a jmeter test plan with view results tree
I am trying to generate a csv file in view results tree including the number of active threads field.
It appears to me that the detail is being entered in the result.csv file, but the values representing this attribute has no field name, and hence that detail cannot be used in a graph which I want to create from the result.csv
I have changed JMETER-INSTALL-DIR/bin/jmeter.properties according to https://jmeter-plugins.org/wiki/PluginInstall/#Configure-JMeter
How can I get a result.csv file with a suitable fieldname like "active-threads"
Don't change anything in jmeter.properties file, upgrade to new JMeter version will discard your changes. Use user.properties file instead
The in order to add column names to CSV file add the following property to user.properties file:
jmeter.save.saveservice.print_field_names=true
Assuming good configuration you should be seeing grpThreads and allThreads columns along with the values.
See Apache JMeter Properties Customization Guide for more information on JMeter properties and ways of working with them

New blank page in Zen-Cart

How can I create a new blank page in zen-cart without applying the template.
I want to create a page that will result only a JSON data...
Thanks in advance
Create a php file in your store directory. In that file, if you want to use ZenCart functions you can include them, like so:
<?php
include "includes/application_top.php";
set headers for mime type
set headers for not caching
YOUR CODE
echo $json;
// below is optional if you didn't create/edit session
include "includes/application_bottom.php";

Completely custom path with YII?

I have various products with their own set paths. Eg:
electronics/mp3-players/sony-hg122
fitness/devices/gymboss
If want to be able to access URLs in this format. For example:
http://www.mysite.com/fitness/devices/gymboss
http://www.mysite.com/electronics/mp3-players/sony-hg122
My strategy was to override the "init" function of the SiteController in order to catch the paths and then direct it to my own implementation of a render function. However, this doesn't allow me to catch the path.
Am I going about it the wrong way? What would be the correct strategy to do this?
** EDIT **
I figure I have to make use of the URL manager. But how do I dynamically add path formats if they are all custom in a database?
Eskimo's setup is a good solid approach for most Yii systems. However, for yours, I would suggest creating a custom UrlRule to query your database:
http://www.yiiframework.com/doc/guide/1.1/en/topics.url#using-custom-url-rule-classes
Note: the URL rules are parsed on every single Yii request, so be careful in there. If you aren't efficient, you can rapidly slow down your site. By default rules are cached (if you have a cache setup), but I don't know if that applies to dynamic DB rules (I would think not).
In your URL manager (protected/config/main.php), Set urlFormat to path (and toptionally set showScriptName to false (this hides the index.php part of the URL))
'urlManager' => array(
'urlFormat' => 'path',
'showScriptName'=>false,
Next, in your rules, you could setup something like:
catalogue/<category_url:.+>/<product_url:.+> => product/view,
So what this does is route and request with a structure like catalogue/electronics/ipods to the ProductController actionView. You can then access the category_url and product_url portions of the URL like so:
$_GET['category_url'];
$_GET['product_url'];
How this rule works is, any URL which starts with the word catalogue (directly after your domain name) which is followed by another word (category_url), and another word (product_url), will be directed to that controller/action.
You will notice that in my example I am preceding the category and product with the word catalogue. Obviously you could replace this with whatever you prefer or leave it out all together. The reason I have put it in is, consider the following URL:
http://mywebsite.com/site/about
If you left out the 'catalogue' portion of the URL and defined your rule only as:
<category_url:.+>/<product_url:.+> => product/view,
the URL Manager would see the site portion of the URL as the category_url value, and the about portion as the product_url. To prevent this you can either have the catalogue protion of the URL, or define rules for the non catalogue pages (ie; define a rule for site/about)
Rules are interpreted top to bottom, and only the first rule is matched. Obviously you can add as many rules as you need for as many different URL structures as you need.
I hope this gets you on the right path, feel free to comment with any questions or clarifications you need

Database content cache for used it in form dropdown list

I want to cache the database content in yii and used that data in Yii drop down list. In the dropdownlist want to load the country names from database. (Have 2 tables user and country). In user form need the drop down list. That selected from country table using cache. Where queries are placed and when we can use the cache result in the user form?
In order to cache the results from a table and then use that in a dropdown you'll need to first set up caching in your config file as described in the Caching Overview of the Definitive Guide. If you wanted to use memCache you could set it up like so;
array(
......
'components'=>array(
......
'cache'=>array(
'class'=>'system.caching.CMemCache',
),
),
);
Yii can use a number of difference caches which are listed in the Caching Overview link above.
You'll then need to make use of Yii's data caching features. You can just do this in your user/_form.php view, for example;
...
echo $form->dropDownList($model,'country_id',CHtml::listData(Country::model()->cache(1000)->findAll(),'id','name'));
...
But the more MVC way would be to do this in your controller, something like so would work;
In your UserController:
...
public function actionUpdate()
{
...
$this->render('update',array(
'model'=>$model,
'countryList=>Country::model()->cache(1000)->findAll();,
);
}
...
In your user/update.php view:
...
echo $this->renderPartial('_form', array('model'=>$model,'countryList'=>$countryList));
...
In your user/_form.php view:
...
echo $form->dropDownList($model,'country_id',CHtml::listData($countryList,'id','name'));
...
The examples above use no dependency for the cache, so the cached values will stay valid until the time (in this case 1000 seconds) expires.
To read more about using a cache dependency, you can read the Cache Dependency section of the Data Caching doc.
[EDIT]
If you need to install memcached, and are using xampp on Windows, this is a great guide to get it working: HOW TO INSTALL MEMCACHED ON XAMPP ON WINDOWS 7
