SQL statement not working when placed in ColdFusion CFC - sql

I have the following table join that runs fine in Microsoft SQL Server and returns the expected results.
SELECT d.id1, c.content_type
FROM Document2 AS d INNER JOIN
Content2 AS c ON d.content_id = c.content_id
WHERE (d.class_id = 1)
However when I place the statement into a ColdFusion CFC, the statement will not execute and I am not getting anything to return. Does the syntax change within the CFC file? Is the Microsoft SQL syntax different from the ColdFusion CFC syntax? Or am I missing something else here?
This is the relevant function. I can get this code to work if I use a simple SQL statement that is not a table join. However, when I insert the table join statement nothing will return.

The problem is this line of code:
arrayAppend(result, {"id"=data.d.id1[i], "Type"=data.c.content_type[i]});
You don't refer to database variables like that - the table alias is not part of the column alias.
You should simply use:
data.id1[i]
If you did actually have a . in the column alias, then you would need to refer to it using bracket notation, like this:
data['d.id1'][i]
But again, the table alias isn't part of the column alias, so that's not needed.

General rules:
Translate inner queries into separate query variables
Translate SQL phrases in LINQ phrase order
Use table aliases as range variables, or if none, create range variables from table names
Translate IN to Contains
Translate SQL functions such as DISTINCT or SUM into function calls on the entire query.

Try this, First get all IvfReceiptId in array based on your inner query used in where condition then check contains. Change name of your _context if it's different.

Inserting a variable in a raw sql query Laravel

I am inside a function in a controller.
So from the Form, I get a value for a variable, say:
$x = "whatever";
Then I need to embed that variable (so, its value), in the WHERE statement. If I hardcode the value, it brings a correct result, but I have tried in all ways to insert that variable without success. Well, supposing that I manage to use that variable, then I will have to look into binding to avoid sql injection, but so far, I would say, see if that variable can get used in the query.
I have tried, double quotes, concatenation . $vx . , curly braces {$x}, the variable plain like this $variable, but either gives syntax errors in some cases, (concatenation), or if I just embed the variable like this where author = $x, it tells me that it can't find the column named $x

This appears to be a simple PHP variable interpolation issue.
DB::raw() wants literally raw SQL. So there are a couple of issues that need to be fixed in the SQL string you are passing.
PHP Variable interpolation (injecting variables into a string) only happens if you use double quotes around the string. With single quotes it becomes a string constant.
If Author is a char/varchar, then SQL syntax requires quotes around the string in your raw SQL statement. Query builders typically take care of these issues for you, but you are going around them.
So the "fixed" version of this would be:
$x = "whatever";

t.id, t.AvgStyle, r.RateDesc
FROM (
SELECT
p.id, ROUND(AVG(s.Value)) AS AvgStyle
FROM posts p
INNER JOIN styles s

Like all interpolation, this opens you up to the possibility of SQL injection if the variable being interpolated comes from user input. From the original question it is unclear whether this is a problem.
DB::select() has an option that allows you to pass an array of parameters that is inherently safe from SQL injection. In that case the solution would be:

Multiple parameter values

I have a problem with BIRT when I try to pass multiple values from report parameter.
I'm using BIRT 2.6.2 and eclipse.
I'm trying to put multiple values from cascading parameter group last parameter "JDSuser". The parameter is allowed to have multiple values and I'm using list box.
In order to be able to do that I'm writing my sql query with where-in statement where I replace text with javascript. Otherwise BIRT sql can't get multiple values from report parameter.
My sql query is

I tryed many different quote variations, with this one I get no error messages, but if I choose 1 value, I get no data from database, but if I choose at least 2 values, I get the last chosen value data.
If I uncomment one of those additional quote script lines, then I get syntax error like this:

Also, I should tell you that i'm doing this by looking from working example. Everything is the same, the previous code resulted to the same syntax error, I changed it to this script which does the same.

You should always use the value property of a parameter, i.e.:
var users = params["JDSuser"].value;
It is not necessary to surround "userquery" with quotes because these quotes are already put in the SQL query arround 'sample'. Furthermore there is a mistake because userquery is not yet defined at line:
var userquery = userquery + users.join("', '");
This might introduce a string such "null" in your query. Therefore remove all references to userquery variable, just use this expression at the end:
this.queryText=this.queryText.replaceAll('sample', users.join("','"));
Notice i removed the blank space in the join expression. Finally once it works finely, you probably need to make your report input more robust by testing if the value is null:

How to execute query with subqueries on a table and get a Rowset object as a result in Zend?

I'm currently struggling on how to execute my query on a Table object in Zend and get a Rowset in return. Reason I need particularly THIS is because I'm modifying a code for existing project and I don't have much flexibility.
Query:

Is there a way to describe this query using Select object?
Previous SQL solution was very simple and consisted of one WHERE clause:

I need to produce same type of the result (so that it could be processed by existing code) but for more complicated query.
Things I've tried
