Hide first Cell of UITableView on iPad - objective-c

I have a TableView with various entries. Sometimes i need to scroll down, sometimes there are only a few entries, so everything is visible.
I want some settings and filters in my First Cell, but it should not be visible, only when the user scrolls down.
My Trys:

Are you looking for something like this?
[self.tableView setContentInset:UIEdgeInsetsMake(t,l,b,r)];
this will shift your tableView whatever way you want, but you can definitely scroll back.

Try your logic in the TableView Delegate methods

UItableview is moving up and down rather than scrolling inside

I have a UITableView with about 15 cells and setScrollEnabled:YES. The problem I am facing is this:
When I scroll, the entire table view moves. I.e.: If I scroll up, the table view moves up and covers the top bar.
What I'd like to do is to scroll within the inside of UITableView so it doesn't move, only the cells/cell content within it move up/down (possibly even the use of a vertical indicator as well?).
I can't find anything on SO or a Google Search.

How to set separator of one section of tableView to clear

I have four sections in my tableView, and I want only the last section to have a clear separator. I know how to do this for the whole tableView, but cannot find any solution for my question. The only solution that I have thought of is to create the cell as an image in Photoshop and set that image as the cell background. Does anyone have an idea of how to do this without having to use Photoshop?

Making all the text show in a UITableView Cell

I am loading an array into a UITableView and the components of the array are long. What I want to do is customize the cells so that thier lenght will adjust to fit the text but the width will stay the same. Right now what is happening is when the text gets too long it will just write off the cell and you will see this.
I would like to see the text hit the end of the cell and then start a new line.

I also found some code that somebody else wrote for multiple lined cells but don't know how to make it automatic based on the length of my string from the array.

You want to look at the NSString function -(CGSize)sizeWithFont:(UIFont *)font constrainedToSize:(CGSize)size
You will have to include it in your heightForRowAtIndexPath function to determine the right heights.
Also, set the numberOfLines for your label to 0. This allows it to adjust to whatever number of lines is needed.
How about using UITextView in table view cell.
At first, you have to change the height of cell.
Next, you put the UITextView into the cell.
Off course you can do this not by IB but by code.
For me the accepted answer worked by adding the else condition.
In my case, if condition was not getting satisfied as the [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:#"comment"]; was always returning cell which was not nil.

The test if (cell == nil) handles the case where there are no reusable cells to dequeue, in which case you must create a new cell. When you create the new cell, you are responsible for constructing its view hierarchy.

UITableView Custom View still here even after reload

I made a very simply table view, with load more function.
I have added a custom view on the last cell with text "Load More"
After the user clicked the load more function, the rows increased successfully.
But the text "Load More" didn't disappear.
Please help.

Currently your load more is being reused and is present in subsequent cells if reused.
