I have an app that registers a new URL scheme ('myapp://').
I want to have the address book keep track of addresses for contacts with the URL scheme like it does to e-mail, SMS, Facetime, phone, etc.
I want to have the contact info page have a button on it to launch my app and pass the 'myapp://' URL from the contact info page.
Is there a way to add a button to a contact in the Address Book like the 'Send Message' or 'Facetime' button?
No. In general one application can't change another; everything is sandboxed.
But you can add a URL and your URL scheme is just a normal URL, albeit one that doesn't work outside your iPhone. So it would appear as a link rather than a button, but it would work the same way.

Hi friends,
The company I work for has a website with an Admin Dashboard. Pages that users can use according to their authorization are listed in the menu. Beautiful so far. However, there is a problem. The person can reach the pages that he cannot see in the menu at the moment, without authorization, from the address bar, by entering the link of the page. How can I prevent access to unauthorized pages from the Address Bar by redirecting them from one place? I don't want to check each page individually. This doesn't make sense. For example, a component with the message "You are not authorized to view this page" may be displayed or automatically redirected to the home page.
I'm waiting for your help. Thanks.
You will need to use a global router navigation guard/hook called beforeEach - as explained in multiple tutorials:
https://css-tricks.com/protecting-vue-routes-with-navigation-guards/
https://www.permify.co/post/implementing-role-based-access-control-in-vue-js
So I just chatted to one of line(one of social media) official accounts and they send me a message then when I clicked the button "Call us" it redirected me to my default calling application on my phone and filled out their number. Does anyone know how to do the same thing ?
That is probably an example of tel protocol.
You basically make an HTML link just like any other link, but rather than the href containing an http:// link, the link format looks like this:
tel:1-123-456-7890
When the user clicks it, their operating system sends this number to their default app for handling tel protocols, which is usually a phone app.
Here's an article useful for explaining this protocol, as well as some handy information about using it in CSS:

In Shopify, is it possible to receive an email notification when a new user signs up (just like I get a notification when an order is placed)?
I have checked under Settings > Notifications but could not find anything. If this is not a default option provided by Shopify, is it possible to implement this using any app?
You can create a webhook to send a notification to a particular URL when the Customer creation event gets fired. Go to your Shopify admin, click on Settings, then on Notifications, scroll down and click on Create a webhook. Once the popup shows, from the dropdown, choose Customer creation Event, JSON or XML format and the url where you want to recieve the notification.
Once you have this setup, look for a webservice which reads webhooks and converts them into an email. Zapier would be a good nominee.
I made a script using Gmail API to get list of contacts. The script working fine but I want to make it more better as for now, when Login POPUP of Gmail is opened it displays this
xxxxxxxxxx.apps.googleusercontent.com is requesting permission to:
Manage your contacts
Where xxxxxxxxxx is my Client ID. I dont want it to be shown. I want to display my API Project Name here like this
"My API Name" is requesting permission to:
Manage your contacts
Is this even possible to do this? If yes then how?
Thanks
Perhaps try this out:
Search for "Google API Console" in the browser.
On the API console page, on the left hand side menu bar, under "APIs & auth", click on "Consent Screen". Setup project name, upload logo, etc.
See if this helps.
I also seem to remember that during oAuth, you need to pass Application Name (which can be the same as Product Name found in Consent Screen option at step 2 above.
I've added a contact button on the title bar but I can't get my contact form to display. Has anyone done this?
First of all, the contact button Module field should point to a new Activity module like VerticalContainerActivity which should contain an HtmlView module in its body. This HtmlView displays your contact page - put the address in its ContentUrl. Most of these steps are identical to what you'll find in this tutorial.
You can see an example of this in the diamonds sample app. Create a new app from the diamond store starting point and see how the contact button is implemented there.
The second important point to remember is that you shouldn't use regular store URLs in your Appixia app. When the user sees them, they would see your Prestashop theme with all the navigation and this will be very confusing inside a mobile app. Instead, make a mobile friendly version of your contact page which doesn't use your Prestashop theme and only shows the contact info content.
Using the Prestashop Contact Form in your Appixia app:
I'm not sure this is a 100% good idea in terms of usability. I don't recommend using a web form for contact in a mobile app.
A mobile phone is a communication device. It is has special integration for making phone calls and sending emails - I really recommend you use these methods instead. Look at the HTML source of this example to see how simple it is to integrate (it's just a link in your HTML).
In order to encourage your users to contact, you need to ask them for as little info as possible. Your website contact form makes your users type in their email address. If they email you directly through their device (with a mailto: link), their correct email will be filled automatically. Same with making a call, when they tap on the link, the number will be dialed automatically for them.
If you really insist on implementing the Prestashop contact form, this will require some Prestashop php games. You should find the contact form controller in the Prestashop source and create the same form (in php or hardcoded HTML) without your website theme. It will be a little annoying because after we submit the form, we also need to make sure the confirmation message is also displayed without your website theme.
