because this _wls_cls_gen.jar creates problem for reading properties or xml files inside WEB-INF/classes folder. I have tried with 10.3.4 but no luck. Could anyone tell which version they have fixed this issue?

If I run the application in server, which is working fine, but If i run application in anypoint studio doesn't run. Here is the error message for loading oracle driver.

I have placed all jdbc and other jars under studio->project->properties->libraries.
This is caused by the Studio's classloading policies. The workaround is to copy the JDBC Driver .jar to ${studio.home}/plugins/org.mule.tooling.server.${mule.version}.ee_${mule.version}.${release.date}/mule/lib/user
Hi there actually that's kind of a hack :P though it works.
The more proper way to deal with this is, when coding your application (that's why one should use Mule Studio), to place the jars like drivers in a particular folder, like a /lib in the root of you project.
Then add these jars to the classpath.
I know what you did is the way it should be done when running on Mule stand alone in order to share such jars but try this one if you can ;)
I was also facing the same problem. As the application runtime fails to locate the jdbc driver jar in classpath So It is unable to load the same.
the simple and easiest way to handle this error is just put your lib folder containing the ojdbc jar file inside the app resource (src/main/app) of the project. During the building of project it will automatically be place in classpath.
I have tried the same approach and It works for me.

The way I fixed the problem was removing the .classpath / .project files from my project root folder. I re-imported the project and then I saw a bin folder created. I removed this bin folder then right-click on the project -> Refresh and then Run As -> Mule Application.
i am completely new to weblogic and hsql so if the question seems trivial please bear with me, so here's my question.
I have application that uses hsql for backend, the problem is that i am not able to configure hsql for weblogic, whenever i Test Configuration its shows
Connection test failed.
Cannot load driver: org.hsqldb.jdbc.JDBCDriver
I know it requires hsqldb.jar and i have put it in C:\bea\weblogic92\server\lib, i have used this site for reference http://docs.jboss.org/seam/snapshot/en-US/html/weblogic.html go to "39.2.2.1. Setting up the hsql datasource" here it says "Copy hsqldb.jar to the Weblogic domain's shared library directory: cp $SEAM_HOME/lib/hsqldb.jar $BEA_HOME/user_projects/domains/seam_examples/lib" i am not able to understand this also.

In general, there are two things to check.
Make sure the HSQLDB Jar is the version you need (2.x).
Which directory to put hsqldb.jar. This directory is either the general jar lib directory where all the jars used by the system are stored, or it is the jar lib directory for your application. The example for seam is for the second type.
What are common causes for IntelliJ IDEA not being able to resolve built-in JVM types and methods? For example, when I mouse over String the tooltip says "Cannot resolve symbol 'String'". It's as if IntelliJ has doesn't know where the JVM is.
By the way, I am running OS X 10.6.6. Everything was working fine until I ran the system update this morning.
Most likely JDK configuration is not valid, try to remove and add the JDK again as I've described in the related question here.
First check if you have configured JDK correctly:
Go to File->Project Structure -> SDKs
your JDK home path should be something like this:
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachine/jdk.1.7.0_79.jdk/Contents/Home
Hit Apply and then OK
Secondly check if you have provided in path in Library's section
Go to File->Project Structure -> Libraries
Hit the + button
Add the path to your src folder
Hit Apply and then OK
This should fix the problem
I was facing the same problem when import projects into IntelliJ.
for in my case first, check SDK details and check you have configured JDK correctly or not.
Go to File-> Project Structure-> platform Settings-> SDKs
Check your JDK is correct or not.
Next, I Removed project from IntelliJ and delete all IntelliJ and IDE related files and folder from the project folder (.idea, .settings, .classpath, dependency-reduced-pom). Also, delete the target folder and re-import the project.
The above solution worked in my case.
For me, I had to remove the intellij internal sdk and started to use my local sdk. When I started to use the internal, the error was gone.
I tried almost everything but nothing was helping with the ibm jdk 1.8. to fix this issue. then I found an article from https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-279214/Cannot-resolve-symbol-String-when-using-IBM-JDK-180 and it worked like charm!!!
so sharing original help credit goes to #Serge Barano. incase anybody needs and not able to able to resolve the issue using previous solutions like me.
according to the article answer is:
IBM JDK has a weird layout and the jar with the String class is in bin directory for some reason:
d:\dev\ibm_sdk80\jre\bin\default\jclSC180\vm.jar
If you add it to the JDK classpath in IntelliJ IDEA, the issue should resolve:
For me, IntelliJ could autocomplete packages, but never seemed to admit there were actual classes at any level of the hierarchy. Neither re-choosing the SDK nor re-creating the project seemed to fix it.
What did fix it was to delete the per-user IDEA directory ( in my case ~/.IntelliJIdea2017.1/) which meant losing all my other customizations... But at least it made the issue go away.
First of all you should try File | Invalidate Caches and if it doesn't help, delete IDEA system directory. Then re-import the Maven project and see if it helps.
For me ,
File -> project structure -> Project Language Level (11) selection worked. Local variable syntax for lambda paramters.

I am new to strut/web programming and I thought I could learn a lot by reading a sample app. On google, I searched and found a sample app at
http://www.roseindia.net/struts/struts2/struts2tutorial.zip , the tutorial is really nice and it gives a sample login page.
However, I couldn't run this sample app. I tried posting on the roseindia.net site and got no help neither.
There is no error logged during the start of the server, but when I try and open one of the helloworld's link the following is outputted
I am getting this error
SEVERE: Could not find action or result There is no Action mapped for
action name HelloWorld. - [unknown location]
The folder structure of this thing on my eclipse is
/WebContent/WEB-INF/java/net/roseindia/Struts2HelloWorld.java
/WebContent/pages/HelloWorld.jsp
/WebContent/WEB-INF/struts.xml
while in strut.xml the sample had..
<action name="HelloWorld" class="net.roseindia.Struts2HelloWorld">
<result>/pages/HelloWorld.jsp</result>
</action>
I am suspecting something in the strut.xml is wrong? I am using eclipse J2EE and tomcat6, I have already tried posting on roseindia's site and got no help.
You will learn a lot by reading sample apps. If your sample doesn't work, perhaps your sample is wrong.
Perhaps you need the actual authoritative documentation. See How to setup a basic struts project using Eclipse. This is the as official as any Eclipse - Struts documentation can be.
Perhaps you need a better example. See the Struts Community Projects and Examples web site for numerous examples.
Did you name the file "strut.xml" or "struts.xml"? It should be the latter (although you could override it if you wanted). Also, in Struts 2 the struts.xml file has to be in the classpath, not at the root of WEB-INF. So, in your project, you should put in the "src" folder, so when it deploys it goes into WEB-INF/classes. You can verify it goes into the correct place by doing an "Export" of the web application to a WAR file and verifying it went into WEB-INF/classes.
I've just downloaded a copy of this tutorial, and deployed it to Tomcat 6 - and it works!
Perhaps they have fixed the bug since you last tried? Or perhaps there's something wrong with the way you have Eclipse configured.
Al I did was to unzip the tutorial; copy the directory into the Tomcat webapps directory; start Tomcat; navigate to the Tomcat manager page on my PC; and click the link to the struts2tutorial application.
Give it another try...
