How can I create a screenshot in Winrt applications? - windows-8

In my Metro application, how can I programmatically create a screen capture?

Unfortunately, in this version, the necessary WriteableBitmap.Render method is not yet implemented. Without this, a screenshot is not possible.

How to detect a screenshot in a RN application?

I'm having some problem about a screenshot-detector in an application.
I'm using EXPO, but I've no idea about how can I detect a screenshot.
Suppose that I've a profile screen. Each user has a profile page, I want to detect when another user does a screenshot on the screen.
My problem is: how can I detect this? I readed about the gesture here, but it didn't help me. With the gestures I can detect, instead, the scroll in a page, the location x and location y.
I readed also this answer, but about the event touchesCancelled:withEvent:touchesCancelled:withEvent: I have not found anything in React Native docs (and also EXPO docs).
So: which is the idea behind a screenshot detector? Thanks for your help!
You can't do it without detaching EXPO. There is already a feature request for that.
If you decide to detach EXPO, react-native-screenshot-detector might be helpful. The solution is very similar to the one from the linked question.
Currently with expo there is no way to do that, But if you detach you can use this package it supports android&ios screenshot detecting react-native-detector

How do you enable Core Spotlight to index app content in React Native

What's the easiest way to go about indexing a React Native app so that content within the app appears in Spotlight searches?
If you're still interested in indexing your app content using React Native, I've written a plugin to do just that.
As you've figured out, there's no built-in react-native support for this. The only option for you to utilize the Core Spotlight framework capabilities is to create your own native module which will expose this functionality to your react-native code. You can also try to find someone who already wrote this module and made it open source, but I guess you've already tried that.
Since this is the only way, it is also the easiest... That said, it should be pretty easy to implement it yourself, assuming you have some experience with iOS development. If you run into problems you can post your code and I can point you in the right direction if necessary.

How to debug the changes made in application on titanium without relaunching the application?

After launching the application, i make some code changes. Is relaunching the application necessary each and every time i make a change to the code.
MRT is right As there is Fastdev server(For classic approach) in Titanium which automatically push the changes to your app if there are changes except in app.js ,Also If you are using the Alloy Approach than for speedy development you can use Ti Shadow.
you can find it Here.
Use TIShadow!
It supports rapid deployment and testing of traditional titanium projects and alloy projects
Yes, you need to Relaunch again when you any change make in your code.
But, Some time this is working without Relaunch. But not in Home page. This is working when you are using on Sub view and use URL Property in CreateWindow Object.
But, best way to Relaunch you App always.
May this Information is helpful for you.
Thanks,

How to intercept didStartLoad in web view (metro apps)

I have been developing iOS and Mac OSX apps since years. So, I was pretty surprised to find no method for Windows 8 Metro WebView to intercept when it starts loading a new page, but only when it finishes loading.
Is there really any workaround for this? I could not find anything both in the docs and on the web...
Thank you very much!
Fabio
You can use the Window.External.Notify() method to trigger an event back in your C# or whatnot. You can also use the Webview.InvokeScript() to activate scripts from outside the control. You can write a script as a string outside the WebView and use the WebView.InvokeScript() with "eval" as the first arg to run that script inside the control.
ScriptNotify
This shows how to use both ScriptNotify and InvokeScript
