Posting on game activity feed - objective-c

Is there any way to post on a user's activity feed for an iOS game? There seems to be no API for this but there is a permission
user_games_activity
on https://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/permissions/#open_graph_perms
I have noticed that there are activity feeds for Facebook games itself, but I haven't come across an activity feed regarding an iOS app.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can post user actions/achivements from iOS by taking publish_actions extended permission, but you need backend server support. You need a public url with open graph tags for each object/achievement.
Publish actions
Allows your app to publish to the Open Graph using Built-in Actions,
Achievements, Scores, or Custom Actions. Your app can also publish
other activity which is detailed in the Publishing Permissions doc.
Note: The user-prompt for this permission will be displayed in the
first screen of the Enhanced Auth Dialog and cannot be revoked as part
of the authentication flow. However, a user can later revoke this
permission in their Account Settings. If you want to be notified if
this happens, you should subscribe to the permissions object within
the Realtime API.
If you want to post achivements, here is basic info. For more info see the below link.
The Graph API for achievements allows game developers to publish user
achievements in their game to provide more meaningful and relevant
stories.
Note: This API is only available to applications categorized as
'Games'. You can categorize your app as 'Games' in the Developer app
by navigating to About > Basic Info and selecting 'Games` in the drop
down menu in the category field.

How to integrate Google business messaging through API

Problems:
I am unable to enable Business Messages API, Because "Business Messages API" is not showing API list, While i am going to enable the API through the
https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard
I want to use auth token, while hitting the API, but the document is saying use the service.json for the credentials. i am following these doc. I am using "Google\Client()" with Laravel application.
https://developers.google.com/business-communications/business-messages/guides/how-to/agents?method=api
I am following these steps:
Login with google business account in the Dashboard
App taking multiple permissions as I have attached the permissions list and taking the auth token.
Open the chat box for the Business.
So please guide me, where i am going wrong. What is correct way to implement this.
Requirement:
I want to create a custom chat box for google businesses, Where business owner will login into the web app and He can easily manage the multiple business chats in one dashboard.
As per your given information, you have to be a partner of Google. As per google documentation, you need to be a partner of google and then you can create the agent and can send and receive messages. You can integrate the business messages API by following this documentation:
https://developers.google.com/business-communications/business-messages/guides
In this process, you need to be a partner of Google. The complete process is given on the link. If you follow this link, then you can use their built-in libraries easily and can send messages easily.
So far the permission for API, it might not be found for you because you might have to take permission for the particular project that is registered on google and then you will see the business messages API and you can enable it and use it. The reason as per the basic step:
https://developers.google.com/my-business/content/basic-setup
Sometimes, you have to submit the request form to take the API access for particular APIs. Or Share how are you using that API.
If you do not find a form for business messages API then you can ask for the information from bm-support#google.com. they mostly respond on a working day.

instagram App Permissions Denied

We have an app and have built in IG integration but keep getting denied on our submission. We want to allow our users who have IG accounts to sign in on our app and then link their IG account. We show the IG icon and their IG name with a follow button so a user can gain followers on IG through our app. We need the follower list permission so that we can know if they are already following them or not and the relationship permission so that we can follow from our app. We have detailed the use case demo'd on a video but this is the only reply we continue to get. Any assistance would be great.
follower_list:
This permission (follower_list) does not support the use case you described in your submission notes, screencast and website. Please review Login Permissions (http://instagram.com/developer/authorization/) for a comprehensive list of permissions and valid use cases.
relationships:
This permission (relationships) does not support the use case you described in your submission notes, screencast and website. Please review Login Permissions (http://instagram.com/developer/authorization/) for a comprehensive list of permissions and valid use cases.
I'm running into the same issue with them declining my application for a valid use case.
I think it's because there wasn't enough information for them to validate the app, or the website isn't following their Platform Policy. I would read through it and make sure you're doing everything they want you to do. I would triple check what use case you picked and how you justified that your app falls into it.
It's also good to cover these, taken from Instagram.com:
Your submission should explain what does your app or company do, which
of the approved use cases your integration falls into, who will be
using your app, how do your user authenticate with your app, how you
use the API to power your integration, how does your product use the
data acquired from Instagram, etc.

soundcloud authentication for server-side code (no app!)

I would like my server-side code to upload tracks to soundcloud in its own name, then later it will retrieve comments, favourites and listener counts. I do not want to do this on behalf of an app user - for there is no app! Previous questions here on stackoverflow§ (there is no "me too" button) and the API docs seem to suggest I cannot do this. Am I correct?
§ Can track belong to the application and not individual users?
This is called "Authenticating without the SoundCloud Connect Screen" in the API docs:
http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide#user-credentials
An "app" in this case is a program that wants to access the Soundcloud API. You register them here:
http://soundcloud.com/you/apps/
Normally you would make a unique username, and register the app to that user. Then, the code logs in as that user to authenticate.

Google Tasks API authorization

I can see many related questions on SO, but none that answers exactly what I'm confused with.
I'm using Google Calendar API in a .NET desktop application that allows user to provide his/her username/password, logs in on his behalf and adds some events to the calendar. Now I want to do exactly the same thing for Tasks feature. I'm trying to use Google Tasks API for this, but have been told that I need to do some OAuth kind of authentication, and even before that, I need to go to my gmail account and set permissions and get my project "key" to enable it.
Now does every user of my application need to do these steps in their Gmail account? Or do I need to do this in MY gmail account once and then my application code will be able to use the generated project "key" to enable my users to add tasks to THEIR gmail tasks list?
Figured it out. For anyone having a hard time understanding this, here it is:
The "key" generation step needs to be done only once per application, not for each user who's going to use your application. To generate a key, login to your Google Account and go to Google APIs Console page. Click API Access button and that's where you can generate keys for different kinds of applications like browser apps, desktop apps, Android apps etc. After registration, you'll need to take Client ID, Client secret and API key from this page and put them into the code. Sample code (.NET) for task creation and several other Google features is available here.
Once your user runs your application, he'll be taken to his Google account in his default browser where he'll be asked if he wants to allow this application to write to his calendar/tasks list. This page will display your logo and description text too that you can provide at registration time. Once allowed, this step won't be required again in the next one hour (this may be adjustable, i don't know yet).

Is it possible to update the Profile image when updating the Google Apps Profile image

The Google Apps API allows companies to make custom integrations into the mail environment. One of the things possible is to use the Profile API to keep contact information up to date. Now that our users are starting to explore the use of Google+ and Hangouts, there comes a need to keep information in sync there too.
One of the key features of the Profile API is the ability to update the profile image (detailed here: https://developers.google.com/google-apps/profiles/#AddUpdating_photo). However, this API doesn't connect back into the Google+ platform by default so the profile images for the organization are getting out of sync.
Is it possible to set it up such that when one image is updated, the corresponding Google+ account's image is updated as well?
Currently, there is not an API for updating the Google+ profile image or other profile data.
