I want to animate the transition when a card is activate on a Panel. any idea please?
The main.setActiveItem(1) is changing the card but I want to animate the transition from right to left (not the default from left to right)
I have this function:
buttonBackImageDetalle: function(button, e, options) {
var main = this.getMain();
//Ext.fx.Animation.setDirection('right');
main.setActiveItem(1);
console.log('<-- back');
}
Thanks for your time!
Try this:
main.animateActiveItem(1, {type: 'slide', direction: 'right'})
Hi if you are using controller use ref for main and pass xtype of view as follows.
this.getMain().animateActiveItem(your_xtype, {type: 'slide', direction: 'right'});

I am trying to create a universal titlebar with a back button for my application. I am including it in the various views by using {xclass:mUserStories.view.titlebar}.
Here is the code for the titlebar:
Ext.define('mUserStories.view.titlebar', {
extend: 'Ext.TitleBar',
id: 'narwhal',
config: {
docked: 'top',
// id: 'narwhal',
title: 'CHW Module',
items: [{
ui: 'back',
text: 'Back',
id: 'backButton'
// hidden: true
}]
}
})
However, when I try to dynamically change the toolbar when switching to different pages, the console.log of the titlebar says the _title has changed but the text on the titlebar and the "hidden" property of the button does not change.
Here is the code for the logic that occurs when the button is pressed to switch the page:
toPage: function (arg) {
var t = Ext.getCmp('narwhal');
var b = Ext.getCmp('backButton');
console.log(t,b)
if (arg === PAGES.PATIENT_LIST) {
t.setTitle('Patient List');
b.setHidden(true)
}
Ext.getCmp('viewPort').setActiveItem(arg);
}
I have also tried to include a ref at the top for Narwhal : '#narwhal' and use var t = this.getNarwhal(), but this does not work either.
I am not sure if the problem lies with where the id is being kept, how the id is being called, or because the page is not refreshing properly. Any advice would help!
Thank you for your time :)
I have had the same situation in my project.
I managed to get everything to work like you want it by having a controller owning a reference to the title bar and listening to activeItemChange on my tabPanel.
I have a panel with a titlebar which already have a two buttons, one on the left and another on the right of the bar. Now I would like to know how to add a panel (or else) to the center of the bar.
This panel need to have a picture and se string inside.
This is what I do for the moment but the panel is displayed on the right of the left button and I can't figure out how to put it in the middle of the titlebar.
this.getTitlebar().add([{
xtype: 'panel',
layout:'hbox',
items:[{
xtype:'img',
width:32,
height:32,
src:data.image.small.url
},{
html: data.key,
style:'color:#FFF'
}]
}]);
[UPDATE] : centered: true
I tried to add centered: true to my panel config but it didn't work, it actually got worse
from this
to this
Thanks
don not need to add the "spacer"
items: [
// your_first_button(default:left)
{},
// your_central_panel
{centered: true},
// your_second_button
{right: 0}
]
Hope this helps.
To align your items as described, simply use this prototype:
items: [
{your_first_button},
{xtype: 'spacer'},
{your_central_panel},
{xtpye: 'spacer'},
{your_second_button},
]
Hope this helps.
If you're trying to achieve the same thing, don't use a Ext.Titlebar but use a Ext.Toolbar instead.
Things like {xtype:'spacer'} don't work in Titlebars...
Did you try insert method of the component?
You can have something like this
yourComponent.insert(index,componentTobeAdded);
And after adding it, call the component layout of the Toolbar to show the panel added.
i have a panel which should show the "description" field of "currently activeitem of nestedlist". nestedlist uses the model having fields:
id
text
description
when user taps on any item of nestedList [on selectionchange OR itemtap&backtap], i want to change description in the panel with description of "currently activeItem of nestedList".
Is this possible?
thanks for any help/solution/pointer.
The same problem I had today, and no solution had been found with a nested list, because no single field can be taken from a Ext.data.TreeStore. One solution could be that you have lots of "if-function 'do with all the ID's and then you give each ID a text. But that's not good.
I've decided to make a simple list.
if you want I can show you my solution for the simple list
ps.: I use Sencha Touch 1.1
Update:
NotesApp.views.NaviList = new Ext.List({
fullscreen: true,
flex: 1,
layout: 'card',
scroll: false,
useToolbar: false,
itemTpl: '{text}',
store: store,
listeners: {
itemtap: function (obj, idx, el, e) {
var record = this.store.getAt(idx);
var tle = record.get('text');
index = record.get('index');
NotesApp.views.notesListContainer.setActiveItem(index, { type: 'slide', direction: 'left' });
}
}
}
});
description:
My App has the name: "NotesApp".
"notesListContainer" is a Container where all my List are displayed. "index" is an ID that I get from the store and the calls list.
Now when you tap on my NaviList you set a new ActiveItem in this Container.
thanks a lot for the reply. I also tried using simple list with one Ext.button(back button in case of nestedlist). On itemtap and buttonclink, i change list's content by
var t = new Ext.data.Store and list.setStore(t).
Please let me know if there is any other better option to do it.
I have a dataview and when scrolling it vertically, after releasing thumb it automatically scrolls back to the top. Whereas with a list it would stay where you release the thumb.
Is this something inherent within a dataview component that cannot be avoided or is there some kind of configuration parameter I can tweak?
My current definition:
informationdataview = new Ext.DataView({
id: 'informationdataview',
itemSelector: 'div.thumb-wrap',
tpl: informationtpl,
autoHeight: true,
layout: 'fit',
store: myapp.stores.information,
scroll: 'vertical'
});
And it's the only item inside an Ext.Panel.
Thanks for any help.
Adding this code to my app.js file solved my similar problem:
Ext.define('Override.util.PaintMonitor', {
override: 'Ext.util.PaintMonitor',
constructor: function (config) {
return new Ext.util.paintmonitor.CssAnimation(config);
}});
Ext.define('Override.util.SizeMonitor', {
override: 'Ext.util.SizeMonitor',
constructor: function (config) {
var namespace = Ext.util.sizemonitor;
if (Ext.browser.is.Firefox) {
return new namespace.OverflowChange(config);
} else if (Ext.browser.is.WebKit || Ext.browser.is.IE11) {
return new namespace.Scroll(config);
} else {
return new namespace.Default(config);
}
}});
I had the same problem, which was fixed by putting the layout value for main Panel to hbox. This is already covered in a separate question, here.
I am sure that, there is scroll view configuration mistake. Refer here for a better solution.
UIScrollView Controller not scrolling fully
I am also faced same issue i got the solution. U have set snapboundary for dataview (i.e) set top and bottom as 0, and sibling component should be docked top if u have any. Important thing make height: 100% not in pixels
items: [{
xtype: 'selectfield',
docked: 'top'
}, {
xtype: 'dataview',
width: '100%',
bottom: 0,
top: 0,
}]
I'm trying to implement a list filter in a text field in sencha touch. For example, I'd have a bunch of contacts, and when I typed in the field, it might filter by name. When I click the circular X button to clear the textfield, I'd like to reset the filter to filter none of the contacts.
The problem is, I can't seem to figure out a way to detect the click on the clear button. There doesn't appear to be any type of event, and I can't seem to hack in a workaround.
If anyone has any idea how to detect a textfield clearing in sencha touch, I'd be much obliged.
I've tried in safari and xcode simulator, and am using sencha touch 1.1.0. Am I missing something? Is this not an issue when it's actually a mobile app?
You can listen for tap events on clearIconContainerEl inside the text field or override the onClearIconTap method.
Ext.setup({
icon: 'icon.png',
tabletStartupScreen: 'tablet_startup.png',
phoneStartupScreen: 'phone_startup.png',
glossOnIcon: false,
onReady: function() {
var searchField = new Ext.form.Search({
name : 'search',
placeHolder: 'Search',
useClearIcon: true,
onClearIconTap: function() {
if (!this.disabled) {
this.setValue('');
console.log('onClearTap: Clear button tapped!');
}
}
});
var viewport = new Ext.Panel({
fullscreen: true,
dockedItems: [{
xtype: 'toolbar',
dock: 'top',
items: [searchField]
}]
});
console.log(searchField.useClearIcon);
searchField.mon(searchField.clearIconContainerEl, {
scope: searchField,
tap: function() {
if (!this.disabled) {
console.log('clearIconContainerEl: Clear button tapped!');
}
}
});
}
});
For sencha touch 2.0 users:
If your using new mvc structure, you can use this in the controller init
this.control({
'#yourTextFieldId clearicon': {
tap: function(){console.log('ClearICON tapped');}
}
....
)};
The problem is the little X is not added in by sencha touch. It is a feature of the "search" input with html5. To capture this event you need to look for the search event. How I solved this was I edited sencha-touch.js
I modified -
if (this.fieldEl) {
this.mon(this.fieldEl, {
focus: this.onFocus,
blur: this.onBlur,
keyup: this.onKeyUp,
paste: this.updateClearIconVisibility,
mousedown: this.onBeforeFocus,
scope: this
});
to be -
if (this.fieldEl) {
this.mon(this.fieldEl, {
focus: this.onFocus,
blur: this.onBlur,
keyup: this.onKeyUp,
paste: this.updateClearIconVisibility,
mousedown: this.onBeforeFocus,
search: this.onSearch,
scope: this
});
inside of Ext.form.Text = Ext.extend(Ext.form.Field, { ...
Now in my implementation of the searchfield I can make a function called onSearch which will be called when the "search" event is called. Note that the "search" event is not only called for the X but for some things like the enter key. The bottom line is sencha touch 1.1 does not check for this event at all and it is the only time the X fires an event so the only solution is to modify sencha-touch.js.
