I am trying to access sms and call logs to get a copy and send to the server for corporate application.
Is it possible to read (not intercept) the sms (incoming and outgoing) and call logs on windows 7 device?
Thanks

As of Mango, No. There is no documented API for that.
No, the exact reason being that that'd enable the app developers (all of them) to steal the user's private data.
There are limitations on the personal data exposed to application developers, and this is limited to calendar information, and address book information. For more detail on those, take a look at the classes in the Microsoft.Phone.UserData namespace

Is it possible to use the WhatsApp business API to communicate with users and also allow them to forward content from WhatsApp directly to our application. For example enabling Web-hooks for different WhatsApp channels to receive the messages from those channels. If yes, can someone guide me how can we implement this feature? and how can we authorize those channels with our WA business account
Finding sources/documentation for developing needed feature
Whatsapp API allows you to Broadcast messages to Unlimited Users, automate notifications, integrate Chatbots, provide Live Chat on Multiple devices and many more functions. Install the WhatsApp Business API Client and then Install your API client. Once your client is working, you can update your application settings. Start using the client, Register your phone number with an API call to /account and send a test message with a call to /messages . let me know if u find this helpful.
Yes, it is possible. The WhatsApp Business Platform allows medium and large businesses to communicate with their customers at scale. Using their APIs, businesses can connect thousands of agents and bots to interact with customers programmatically and manually. Additionally, the APIs can be integrated with numerous backend systems, such as CRM and marketing platforms
Here is the link for the documentation: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/overview

There are multiple ways given in the documentation. But keep in mind, do read the documentation carefully, they have their updated and the previous version so use them as per your requirements.
I have successfully setup my account on whatsapp developer app by meta and can send messages to 5 free users. Now the question is how can I go live with the app. I have no verified business manager account, is that necessary?
What will I need to do after verification of business account? Do I need to generate permanent access token and it would work fine?
Plus I need to know how can I send messages to groups on whatsapp?
Yes, you need to become a verified business account and all would work as you saw with the demo account, with no restriction on the number of destinations.
First 1000 conversations/month it's free, you can check details here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/pricing/
Bear in mind, you will NOT be able to message groups with the WA Cloud API. If you need to, you will need to rely on custom APIs that do that. There are some available, see the one shown here:

I'm applying from Twilio to use their WhatsApp API service they are providing to build a WhatsApp auto-reply bot. But the problem here is that they want us to use the phone number they provide to us which we need to buy from them.
I tried using the URL 'https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=15551234567' but it just redirects to a page to send a message which I need to click 'Send' in order for it to submit our message. Besides that, we need to be able to trigger the application that a message is received from a recipient so we still need to access the API.
So how exactly is it I want to build a Whatsapp Auto Reply service to the public if Twilio provides it's own phone number only to reply. I want to reply using phone numbers that my clients register with me which is their own phone numbers.
As we know Whatsapp API is not open for public but how other Whatsapp Auto Reply apps are able to use our phone number to auto-reply to our recipients?
Would love some feedback or solutions from StackOverflow community. Thanks.
Twilio developer evangelist here.
Currently the Twilio documentation on using numbers on WhatsApp says:
Currently, we are unable to enable WhatsApp on non-Twilio numbers; support for this is coming soon and we will update these docs once available.
So this is just a current limitation and will be changed in the future.
I am developing an Intuit App Center app using the V3 SDK written in vb.net.
Is it possible to get/control the list of connected users that is listed in the Reports section of the Manage My Apps area in the Intuit Partner Platform? Specifically, the area where you view your connections and are able to disconnect users so you don't get charged for that connection.
I would like to be able to control that list from within my application for billing purposes. I have heard that it is possible to manipulate the list programmatically but I'm unsure how to do it.
This should definitely be do-able, but there's not a specific API for it.
There are really 3 components to tracking this information:
Have they EVER connected - you'll know this already because if they connected they will have gone through the OAuth process on your website and you'll have a token for them.
Are they connected NOW - you can test this by making an OAuth request to any of Intuit's services - if you get back a successful response, you know they are currently connected, vs. if you get back a 401 error you know the token is expired/no longer good.
Disconnecting them - you can choose to explicitly disconnect a user (and thus no longer get charged for their usage) by using the disconnect API call.
There is no billing API available.
You need to check it from the appcenter.

My client requires an sms to be sent to him, whenever an invoice is made on his system by any of the employees. I have no idea how to configure it. Do I need to buy any sms-server service?
How to integrate into my application?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
I am not sure what country you are in. But in the UK i use this provider.
They have excellent examples
I can send SMS from my webserver, my Windows .NET Form application, a iPhone app if i wanted to. This is possible because it uses a simple HTTP Request API, so even using JavaScript AJAX from the client will work.
Just search for SMS Gateway and find your countries advisability. Look at a few and decide which one suits your needs and also the costs involved.
My Provider charger per sms.. no signup fees, no contracts, just top up.
Using a mobile phone is more involved, but obviosly it has the benefit that you control every aspect of sending, receiving and processing data.
for example 1, 2, 3
You can even buy a module from china just designed to interface via Serial to send/recieve SMS, and even use the GPRS to get/send HTTP request.
There is two option
1) have to buy service from provider or
2) you have to connect your mobile with pc and send msg using AT command
A lot of carriers will allow SMS via e-mail. This may be a better option for you.
Here is a list of the e-mail address formats for a number of carriers.
