MonoTouch - Failed to compile interface file - mono

I have a mini mac with Lion osx, I installed Xcode 4.3.2 from the app store, after which I downloaded the mono touch trial software. When I compile a brand new project using mono develop I get the below error:

I have un-installed xcode 4.32, mono develop and re-installed but to no success.
Any help on this issue will be helpful.

You might have an old ibtool in /Developer from a previous Xcode install. What does /Developer/usr/bin/ibtool --version show?
You can ensure you're using the latest ibtool by doing this:
sudo /usr/bin/xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

Gazebo Garden installation problems with cmake and msbuild (Windows 10)

I'm installing Gazebo Garden on my Windows 10 laptop and recently had some problems regarding building the ignition libraries with cmake.
First, I had an error that make couldn't run the msbuild command. The solution to that was to add the msbuild path to the system environment variables and to delete the cmake cache as in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4... explained.
Here may be the first source of error. I changed the MS Visual studio version to the correct version of VS 19, but was not sure about the source and build folder. I set the source code folder to /ign-ws/src/ign-cmake from the installation manual (https://gazebosim.org/docs/garden/ins...) and the build folder to a new empty folder.
It kinda worked and I went on to build the libraries, but the command
colcon build --cmake-args -DBUILD_TESTING=OFF --merge-install --packages-up-to ignition-gazebo7
gave an error again. This time the error is something about the VCtargetsPath as shown in the error code:

I couldn't find any solution connecting both errors. Is the cause of my second error the false source folder? Maybe someone can help?

Building ParaView-Superbuild in windows 10

I'm trying to build the ParaView-Superbuild (https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview-superbuild) on Windows 10 64x.
I cannot manage to get it to work. I just ran from error to error. Currently I'm stuck at:

I don't know how to fix the error using the GCC compiler when the VS one is not working at all. Sadly, I couldn't find any help on the Paraview website.

Install Visual Studio 2013 community with all C++ related tools
Install cmake
Install git bash
Install Ninja
Install Qt 5.9.2 VS2013
Install other potential dependencies

I have hit this myself twice, but... you aren't supposed to run that thing, actually. You use msbuild to build mono.exe and run make to build the BCL.
The problem you are seeing, is that, in following the directions, you have cross built a mingw mono.exe from a cygwin host. I know, they seem like the same thing, but they aren't quite. The mingw mono.exe fails to run in cygwin environment because it doesn't find libgcc_s.dll or so, and maybe others.
If you dir /s/b C:\cygwin64\libgcc*.dll and notice the mingw sysroot, you can add that directory or directories to your %PATH%, and then this mingw mono.exe will work. However, the right solution is probably a proper mingw install, not using the sysroot, and again, this mono.exe isn't the goal.
Once you use msbuild, you get native Visual C++, and its symbols, and its debugger or windbg, and therein to me is one of the huge values of windows -- the debuggers -- which cygwin and mingw don't give you.
Try to execute C:/cygwin64/home/Administrator/mono/mono/mini/mono-sgen.exe directly - it should complain it misses some cygwin files - copy them to this folder
It doesn't work because the mingw .dlls aren't in $PATH.
You have cross-build a mingw mono from Cygwin environment.
I strongly recommend though you use msbuild against the msvc/*.sln file instead, using Visual C++ instead of mingw to build, and thereby the Visual Studio and windbg debuggers work.

OS X - 10.10.4 ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64

I am installing NS2 2.35 in my macbook having OS X 10.10.4. The Xcode which i have install is Xcode 6.4. While installing I am getting following error:

Following steps I have use to install NS2:
Install Xcode
Unzip or untar ns-2.35 using the command "tar zxvf ns-allinone-2.35-xxx.tar.gz" (without quotes)
The ns-2.35 configuration files contains the path to xlibdir and xincdir, so you need not include the path for those directories.
kindly ensure that the path to xlibdir and xincdir are installed on your Mac OS(Xcode)
execute the command ./install inside the directory (~ns-allinone-2.35-xxx/) (use terminal to install) .
Once installed successfully, the path setting information will be provided to you. copy those informations and put it in a file called .profile or .bash_profile (please note that there is a dot in these files)
finally execute the command "source .profile" (wihtout quotes) and logout and login back.
After step 5 i.e. ./install i got above mentioned error.
Kindly help me to solve this problem.

The version you got is my "Oct 2014 update" ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz, for gcc/g++ versions 4.6 .. 5.2 . Not clang, AFAIK.

How to build hsdis.dll for Windows 32-bit?

I am trying to build hsdis.dll in my laptop 32-bit Windows. I read http://dropzone.nfshost.com/hsdis.htm instructions and got to know that I will have to follow those steps. I saw that I have to use the mingw64-i686-gcc-core. I followed the steps, but have always found this error.

Here are the steps which help me to build it (x64 version, x86 should be almost the same):
download and unpack the latest hsdis sources as described in the building manual from the http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8u/jdk8u/hotspot/tags;
download the latest bintuils-2.26.tar.gz package from the http://mirror.tochlab.net/pub/gnu/binutils/;
copy it to your Cygwin home directory and unpack it from the Cygwin terminal (this is very important, otherwise you may get permission problems):
tar -xzvf ./binutils-2.26.tar.gz
install the following Cygwin packages: mingw64-x86_64-gcc-core for x64 or mingw64-i686-gcc-core for x86, diffutils and make;
go to hsdis directory;
