webkit inspector losing network data on page change - webkit

In Safari and Chrome I lose all my network data in the inspector when the page URL changes -- how can I keep that data around long enough to catch what I need / refer back to that data even after the URL changes?

While on the network tab, there is a black circle in the bottom toolbar (near the left side). This button allows you to preserve all the data until you clear it (by clicking the open circle with the diagonal line through it) or close the inspector. Click the button and the circle will turn red indicating that all of the data is being recorded. You will not lose any data that is recorded while the circle is red.

New Preview BigQuery UI Zoom Shortcut

I keep accidentally hitting some key combination that zooms out in the editor of the new Bigquery UI and cannot figure out how to reset it to the actual zoom level without refreshing the entire page. The shell of the editor does not zoom and is the only part of the UI that responds to the normal Chrome zoom shortcuts, however the editor window remains zoomed at the altered level and does not change, screenshot
On my Macbook, the zoom-in/out could be triggered with Command + 2 finger touchpad up/down.
I don't have a Windows to try, but if you need Windows key, I guess the counterpart is Ctrl + Mouse scroll up/down.

Twitch video minimise on browser back click

When watching a livestream on twitch.tv I noticed that when you press the back button the stream simply minimises to the bottom left corner with a smooth animation, you can then navigate around twitch with it always minimised. It doesn't even seem like the page refreshes and that video player element never refreshes even though everything else is completely changing.
Can someone explain how they are doing this?
It's done using a single page application. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-page_application

Click a link to another slide in powerpoint without going full screen

I'm creating a powerpoint which has a contents page, I would like that contents page to have clickable links to other slides in the presentation. The problem is currently those links only work when I go full screen, is there a way which I can click the link without going full screen?
Thanks
As Steve says Links only work in show mode. To get them to work in edit the only way is to RIGHT CLICK on them and choose Open Hyperlink from the menu.
Links only work in Slide Show view.
If you go to Slide Show | Set Up Slide Show, you can choose "Browsed by an individual (window)"
Then the slide show window will be moveable/resizable and won't necessarily fill the screen.
If the problem is that your presenter(s) aren't putting the deck into slide show mode before they start presenting (meaning your links don't work in normal/edit mode), you could try one of these solutions:
Add a solid filled rectangle that fully covers your first slide and set any Entrance animation on it with the Trigger / On Click of set to this shape. Then write the text in the shape "Please press F5 to start this presentation". The shape will never be seen in slide show mode but is a polite reminder for your presenters when they open the .pptx file.
Save the deck in the .ppsx file format, forcing it to automatically start in slide show mode.

QTP script works in big screen but not in small screen

I am using QTP 11.0 and a java button in my application is highlighted in big monitor screen(19 or 20 inch) but not in Laptop screen(14 or 15 inch).
I have to click the button and a pop up will be seen, this works fine in big screen but in laptop screen the pop up does not appear. Is there any workaround?
In small screen the scroll bar appears and the java button is below the screen, but in big screen its appeared without scrolling so its working fine with the big screen.
Also i have tried if scroll down is possible through scripting in small screen ,but scroll down does not work NOR does pgDown pgUP works in the application.
Addins selected are ActiveX,Java,Web
Advanced thanks...
As per the given information I assume that the problem is with the object properties of the java button. Could you try adding only htmlid/name property & try highlighting the object in both the screens? Please disable object identification, location & indexing if applicable. If possible share the properties of the object for further analysis.
Does QTP fail to recognise the button during play back? QTP may not highlight the button because it is not visible; but in most cases it will be able to perform actions (such as click event) on the button. Make the button visible in web page / application and try clicking on Highlight button in QTP.

Webkit scroll position lost

On Webkit re-rendering any of an outer containers (div in my case) child elements or changing on of these childs display attribute from/to display:none/block/inline/inline-block whatsoever, courses the container element to scroll back to top. This way elements located at the lower end of the scrolling area are never be reached by the user since this area keeps scrolling back to top as soon as one of previously mentioned things occure.
On Firefox the scroll position is maintained as required.
Example (expand left-hand list to force scrollbar to appear or choose an album on the left so that the main display area has enough content to bring up scrollbars, scroll to the bottom and hover over the images)
Is there any workaround/fix I could implement to keep the user experience also for webkit browsers?
Thanks
