I am trying to create a simple scatter plot with PlotSymbols for when I hit a point of data. I have all of that implemented, but the line and the symbols are all one color that blends in making it hard to see the data. I know I could make the symbols bigger, but I am hoping to try and avoid that.
From the few screen shots that I saw in the examples I saw the ability to do this, but only for the ellipse symbol. Is there any way to do this for other symbols as I am currently using the rectangle.
Every plot symbol has a lineStyle and a fill. You can mix and match to get whatever look you want.

I have line plots that show the variations of several dependent variables as function of an independent variable and bar plots that show the average value of each of the dependent variables (see figure below). Due to some editorial constraints, I want to present this information in a compact yet clear and visually appealing way (preferably in one plot instead of two). Any ideas how to achieve this using Matplotlib?
You may display the averages as horizontal line in the first plot.

I am using AWCollectionViewDialLayout demo provided on git below is the link:- https://github.com/awdigital/AWCollectionViewDialLayout
I want to make labels straight.
Please Help.
In your specific example, your cell itself is rotated, not just the label. So you cannot only make the label straight and keep the image rotated.
If you still wants to make both element straight, take a look on the source file of the libarary. You are looking for variable called rotationT
on line 181. Just keep its value to 0 and have a try

I'm trying to draw using finger on any image or any shape or inside a particular shape eg rectangle. How to do that
Any idea would be appreciated.
For that purpose the InkCanvas is designed. You can surely find tutorials and some MSDN docs about this. Even other SO questions.

When a new user is created, we see this animated window:
(source: idanfe.com)
I am interested in building a similar window in the new version of my app, which migrates old data into new data.
Which objects is Apple using to animate the window?
It could be multiple images moving with respect to time, giving you a feel of animation.
You can also try your hands on NSBezierPath to draw yourself, but mind it - Its wouldn't be so easy to achieve this.

So, I am currently making a 1942-style game. How can/should I set up the path for my enemies? I know I could do it with CGPathRef but is there an easier way to do it? It seems pretty out of place for more complex paths like for example these 2 I'd like to implement:

(Sorry I can't directly post pictures, I need at least 10 reputation)
Or at least, I haven't found any documentation explaining how to create more complex shapes with CGPaths.
So what are your recommendations?
