Failed to build ios project with CorePlot - objective-c

I'm new to ios. I want to use CorePlot in my project.
I followed the steps in the instruction from CorePlot wiki and tried to build my project by Xcode 3.2.2. But i got some errors like
"'CALayer' may not respond to '-encodeWithCoder:' ",
"'NSMutableSet' may not respond to '-sortedArrayUsingDescriptors:'".
I tried to build the examples in the coreplot source code package and got the same errors.
Anyone knows the reason? How can i solve these problems? Any help would be appreciated.

The latest Core Plot projects are set up for Xcode 4.2. You may have to adjust some of the build settings to get them to work in older versions. I don't have that version of Xcode installed any more, but the first thing I would check is to make sure the Base SDK is set to one that you have instead of the generic "Latest iOS".

Adding React Native to an existing iOS app - fails to compile

I followed the official guide on adding React Native to existing iOS apps (Swift).
pod install finished successfully and I got to the point when I import React in a Swift file and try to compile the app.
The build fails with an error in the yoga dependency. Xcode cannot find the C++ standard library:
However, then I click "Go to definition" on <algorithm>, Xcode can find it:
These are my project settings (I tried a few different combinations):
I'm fairly new to iOS development, so this might be a simple issue with our existing project, Xcode, Command Line Tools, or my machine. I Googled around a bit, no luck so far.
Any help from someone familiar with iOS development is appreciated! When we find the solution I'd like to update the official guide so others don't get stuck adding React Native to their app.
I believe your issue is fixed by this PR https://github.com/facebook/react-native/pull/17764, which reduces the number of exported Yoga headers to those that are actually needed to be able to build and as part of that removes headers that require C++ and its stdlib.

Xcode workspace with iOS and macOS

I have an iOS app which I need to build a supporting app for macOS. I was hoping to share code between them, specially the DataModel.
As the iOS app was using Pods, there was already a workspace.
I pulled in the macOS project into the workspace, and I can see all its files with no problem. But I don't seem to be able to figure out how to 'use' the class files from the iOS project in the macOS project. Would it have anything to do with Modules?
Or should I just make a new Target that is a macOS application?
I'm using Xcode 8.3.3 at the moment, and the projects are in Swift.
Select the source files you want to use and tick the "Target Membership" for your macOS target in the Inspector:
Update:
To use common code in different projects, make an extra project for your common code which builds as a Framework and include this framework in the iOS and in the macOS.

Titanium content assistant not working

The content assistant is not working.
I'm working on OSX, Titanium Studio, iOS & Android mobile app and have tried the following:
Installing the following SDKs: 3.2.0, 3.2.1, 3.3.0.
Tried reverting between those versions.
Checked the Project Natures (mobile - primary, mobile module, are checked).
Tried every option on the Project Build Path.
Of course tried to build the project again and again.
Check the content assistant preference both in the main preference and in the project properties.
Are the any more suggestions?
I believe this is a bug in the 3.2.0GA SDK (3.2.1 and 3.3.0 are not official releases yet). As far as I have heard it is known and should be fixed in the next SDK update. Only question is when this update will be out.
You can get content assist back by reverting to 3.1.3GA, but that doesn't help you much if you need features from 3.2.0GA.
EDIT:
The issue is described in this JIRA-ticket and as it mentions should be resolved in the upcoming 3.2.1 release.

Xcode library reverted to 5.1 from 6

I have been developing an app using Xcode, which included the Facebook SDK. The Facebook SDK requires the AdSupport.framework and the Social.framework, both of which were previously installed, but seem to have disappeared. My question is how do it update the library to 6.0, instead of five? I understand that you have to go into the build phases and add the frameworks in the Line Binary With Libraries section, but when I go to add the framework, the folder is 5.1, not six. I have looked through the Apple doc's and haven't found anything.
Here is an image of what I'm getting:
It should look like this:
There should be no way the SDKs provided with Xcode can regress. However you could see them vanish if you launch an older version of Xcode.
Based on experience, if you had Xcode installed before it was a single app bundle and have subsequently installed the app bundle version then there's a reasonable probability the old version is still present and therefore good odds that a Spotlight launch will open the wrong one.

Missing frameworks after upgrading to Xcode 4.4.1

I upgraded to Xcode 4.4.1. Now, I'm trying to add framework QuartzCore.framework, but getting Quartz.framework not found while running the application on device and it is working fine on simulator.
After analyzing, I got, the framework is missing at the path:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS5.1.sdk/
Even if , it is available at:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator5.1.sdk/
Can anyone please let me know, what is going wrong? How to solve the problem?
If you're developing for iOS, you'll probably want QuartzCore.framework (and not Quartz.framework).
Try re-adding QuarzCore in Linked Libraries under Build Phases. If you're using a 6.0 device, you'll need to update Xcode to 4.5 or later.
