Split strings in excel (vba) - vba

I am currently using this code(from a fellow user here) to find every cell in column b1 and to find the ones that contain a ";" something like "hello;goodbye". The code will split the cell at the ";" and place "goodbye" directly beneath "hello;" on an entirely new row..
What I need now is this... if a cell contains multiple ";" (ie "hello;goodbye;yo;hi;hey") it will split at EACH ";" not just the first and then move each to a new row directly beneath the other...
What changes do I need to make?

I know it's close to what you have, but I wanted to suggest you use Application.ScreenUpdating. This will save considerable time, especially when inserting/deleting rows in Excel. I also wanted to suggest you change the variable names to somehting a little more meaningful.

This would change 1x15x25 into 1-1, 2-15, 3-25using the following formula

Due to the fact, my original method was not specific enough I've been forced to go back to the drawing board.
From the Above, I am wanting to produce the following.
1-2-Initial, 2-15-Name, 3-25-Date
I am a developer but not in visual basic and the worst part Is I know what I would do with a database and PHP just don't have enough knowledge to transfer that to excel.
So I need to either by formula or function
Take 2 Columns and split by a delimiter
Then count the entries on each (Maybe only one)
Then for each in the range create a new string adding the count-col1-col2
I cannot change the data as its given by the supplier
I have a basic understanding of VBA so explain don't belittle

That my original use of array formula and TEXTJOIN where over the top and hardly simplistic
That I can use VBA just like any other programming code :)

Convert headers and row level data to column level

I have very little experience working with VBA, so I'm having a hard time looking up what I am trying to do because I am having a hard time putting what I am trying to do into words.
I have been struggling to write a code to do the below task for the past few days.
Basically what I am trying to do is to convert a set of data to different format.

I started with retrieving a part of a data (AQ:BA) and then convert to the format in sheet2 with the below code.

I got this code from another thread posted here on stakcoverflow, i modified a bit to get this work.
The problem i am encountering here is that if Sheet2 B2 is empty, the codes doesnt check sheet C2 instead it skips the whole row, which is not right here.
I know this sounds complicated, and this approach of mine may not be even feasible.
Is there ANY OTHER WAY to do this? Is there any other way to get this in a single shot instead of breaking down the data and move each set of columns to sheet2 then to final format?

Adding Text after every line on the same cell

I have the following Excel cells:

(In the same cell)
I need to add a string of text after every line on the same cell, like this:

I found a code which allows me to count how many lines there are on the same cell, but I dont find any way of using it to write after the text on each of those lines:

If you want it to count from base 1 instead of base 0, change the lines myCell.Value = myCell.Value & tempArr(i) (and the following one in the If statement) to myCell.Value = myCell.Value & tempArr(i) + 1
I should mention again that this is already set up for a dynamic range in Column A. Meaning if you add more data formatted the same way in A2, the code will apply itself to that as well, all the way to the last set of data in column A.

This will but in the text "First Line", "Second Line"... after each line. The way it is set up now uses the value in A1 and replaces the value in A1. It is ideal for cells with 4 lines or less, but it will work with more.

Split rows that have multiline text and single line text

I'm trying to figure out how to split rows of data where columns B,C,D in the row contain multiple lines and others do not. I've figured out how to split the multi-line cells if I copy just those columns into a new sheet, manually insert rows, and then run the macro below (that's just for column A), but I'm lost at coding the rest.
Here's what the data looks like:
So for row 2, I need it split into 6 rows (one for each line in cell B2) with the text in cell A2 in A2:A8. I also need columns C and D split the same as B, and then columns E:CP the same as column A.

This is a fairly interesting question and something I have seen variations of before. I went ahead and wrote up a general solution for it since it seems like a useful bit of code to keep for myself.
There are pretty much only two assumptions I make about the data:
Returns are represented by Chr(10) or which is the vbLf constant.
Data that belongs with a lower row has enough returns in it to make it line up. This appears to be your case since there are return characters which appear to make things line up like you want.
Pictures of the output, zoomed out to show all the data for A:D. Note that the code below processes all of the columns by default and outputs to a new sheet. You can limit the columns if you want, but it was too tempting to make it general.

How it works
There are comments within the code to highlight what is going on. Here is a high level overview:
Overall, we iterate through each row of the data, processing all of the columns individually.
The text of the current cell is Split using the vbLf. This gives an array of all the individual lines.
A counter is tracking the maximum number of rows that were added (really this is rows-1 since these arrays are 0-indexed.
Now the data can be output to the new sheet. This is easy because we can just dump the array that Split created for us. The only tricky part is getting it to the right spot on the sheet. To that end, there is a counter for the current column offset and a global counter to determine how many total rows need to be offset. The Offset moves us to the right cell; the Resize ensures that all of the rows are output. Finally, Application.Transpose is needed because Split returns a row array and we're dumping a column.
Update the counters. Column offset is incremented every time. The row offset is updated to add enough rows to cover the last maximum (+1 since this is 0-indexed)
Finally, I get to use my waterfall fill (your previous question) on all of the blanks cells that were created to ensure no blanks. I forgo error checking because I assume blanks exist.

Create macro to move data in a column UP?

I have an excel sheet of which the data was jumbled: for example, the data that should have been in Columns AB and AC were instead in Columns B and C, but on the row after. I have the following written which moved the data from B and C to AB and AC respectively:

However, it doesn't fix the problem of the data being on the row BELOW the appropriate row now that they are in the right columns. I am new to VBA Macros so I would appreciate any help to make the data now align. I tried toggling the Offset parameter (-1,0) but it's not working.

You don't need to loop through the range to accomplish what you're trying to do.
Try this instead:

Notes:
If the shape of data in each column is the same, you don't need to
find the first and last row for each. You'll only need one variable for each and one copy operation instead of 2.
Make sure you set variable declaration to required.
(Tools -> Options -> Require Variable Declaration) You may already be doing this, but I couldn't tell because it looks like the top of your Sub got truncated.
