Bloomberg API: How to get the list of Pricing Sources? - api

It's possible to get current pricing source for a security (PRICING_SOURCE field). Is there any field that returns the list of all available pricing sources for defined security?
Thank you.

No - it's not currently possible.
Any fields (i.e. visible in FLDS in the terminal) are accessible via the API - such as the PRICING_SOURCE field in the question.
However, there is currently no functionality like the terminal commands PCS or ALLQ in the API at the moment. There is a request for this functionality with the Bloomberg programmers, and you can contact the Bbg helpdesk to have yourself added to the request to be informed when it becomes available.

Look up your pcs enablements, find the one you want to use /then lock down the eid # from the respective ctrb page. You can request eid specific prices via api.

Get vehicle registration details from apisetu.gov.in API

I am trying to implement a feature in my website where user can input the Vehicle's Registration Number and pull out the details of the vehicle and owner. Similar to https://jankari.loconav.com/rc
There is an API provided by the government of India to achieve this - https://ndh.digitallocker.gov.in/public/api/transport#/APIs/drvlc but there is no documentations involved. I am not even sure how to use it in postman. There are no options to generate an API key etc. When you click the "try" button it just shows you a pre-written json which gives error after you execute it. Can some help me find a way to build something similar to https://jankari.loconav.com/rc using the http://apisetu.gov.in
Thanks in advance

How to retrieve listing price data for specific event using ticketmaster's developer API?

I made a Ticketmaster developer account and I would like to pull listing price data for specific events. I am able to retrieve this type of listing data for specific events using Stubhub's API, but looking through Ticketmaster's API documentation, I don't see any specific API requests that will return listing data, such as section, row and listing_price.
Am I missing something, or is it not possible to retrieve this type of listing data using Ticketmaster's API?
For anyone who stumbles upon this in the future, TicketMaster does offer this functionality through their availability endpoint. However you have to be a TM nexus partner to use it, and getting approved as a partner depends on what your business/software does and income etc...

GET method with API's

I am not familiar with API's so I was hoping someone could help me with a question I have. My company uses Greenhouse as their hiring software for people to apply and we are redoing our career site to be more custom. They want a page where we can display each department with a text icon that has the number of positions open in that department that updates itself and when you go into that page it wants to display the positions for that department a long with the location they are in.
In the Greenhouse.io API section they say
"This is useful for reporting purposes, or for customers who have
built their own tools that they want to use with Greenhouse. GET
methods include Offices, Departments, Candidates, Activity Feed,
Applications, Scorecards, Scheduled Interviews, Offers, Jobs, Stages,
Job Post, Rejection Reasons, Email Templates, Users, and Sources."
Does this GET method mean I can pull those pieces from the API and display them where ever we need to in the site and it will update automatically? I'm primarily a web designer so this info is a bit new to me.
The GET refers in fact to the HTTP methods. Generally, you call the api with GET to retrieve data.
If you want to insert a new data with api, you will use POST for instance.
You can see those http methods here:

How can I deep link into QuickBooks Online with results from API calls that don't include the txnId

QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses a URL format like qbo.intuit.com/app/timeactivity?txnId=123 to point to, in this example, a TimeActivity.
However, in the API, resources are referenced by entityId (returned as just Id when querying via the TimeActivity API), which is different from txnId.
In my time tracking web app, I have a feature that exports time to QBO as TimeActivities. I'd like to provide users with direct links from the time entered in my app to the corresponding TimeActivity in QBO—is there any way to do so?
The answer to this is that it's not currently possible because there's multiple base URLs (I think they call them "realms") in use for QuickBooks Online (qbo.intuit.com is only one of them). Because you do not receive this information as part of linking to QBO via OAuth, there's unfortunately no way to construct proper links.
Yes, when creating a successful TimeActivity you will receive back an Id, which I assume you are persisting.
That Id can be used to query QBO in a simple GET request.
<baseURL>/company/{companyID}/timeactivity/{timeactivityId}

Commission Junction API for Local (Daily) Deals

Has anyone used Commission Junction's Product Catalog Search API for searching/fetching local deals? (BuyWithMe and KGBDeals post their deals to CJ)
There is a Yipit clone out there which uses this API. This clone was unable to categorize deals properly based on location. I was supposed to fix this issue. The problem I saw is: API's response does not contain location/city info. Therefore, deals cannot be categorized based on cities. This basically kills the purpose of local deals.
I am looking for advice from anyone who has done similar work using CJ API. May be I am missing something.
OneBigPlanet has an All-In-One API filled with all affiliate networks and daily deal providers for U.S & Canada
If you are going to use a deal aggregator API for your site/blog, you may want to take a look at this one as well.
SideBuy has recently released its version 1 API which lets the user (like yourself) connect to its comprehensive set of daily deals using several parameters to fully customize the listings. I suggest you check it out and get in touch in SideBuy's site if you need further assistance.
