I want to install CutyCapt to capture screenshots from websites, on my server!
I need to install libqt first,
But I cant install it. I I run the command bellow
yum install subversion libqt4-webkit libqt4-dev
I get this:
root#server [/downloads]# yum install subversion libqt4-webkit libqt4-dev

If you check the answers, you'll see this:
New Qt4.4 Packages are available
for CentOS (EL5 Distros) in this repo:
http://packages.atrpms.net/dist/el5/
You need to add this repository to your package repository list. Otherwise you can't get the packages.

You are trying to install igbinary extension for PHP 7.2 with PHP 7.4. This cannot work.
For a proper configuration, please follow the Wizard instructions

I am trying to install graphviz on my RHEL VM. when I run
$sudo yum install graphviz
I get this:
This system is not registered with an entitlement server. You can use subscription-manager to register.
No package graphviz available.
Error: Nothing to do
I later found out that I get this same problem with all packages.
I have tried several solutions I have found online such as:
saving the .repo file found here (this link will download the file)
then running
#from dir containing graphviz-rhel.repo
$sudo yum-config-manager --add-repo graphviz-rhel.repo
the output was

adding repo from: graphviz-rhel.repo
grabbing file graphviz-rhel.repo to /etc/yum.repos.d/graphviz-rhel.repo
repo saved to /etc/yum.repos.d/graphviz-rhel.repo
Then I ran
$sudo yum-config-manager --enable graphviz-rhel
This gives no output and $yum-config-manager list all does not list anything related to graphviz as a repo (enabled or disabled)
I tried the solution here: failed to install 'graphviz*' packages with yum command on my RHEL server
except I found the rpm file here
When I ran the rpm command I got an error because I was missing a couple dozen dependencies so I dont think following this solution for all of them is a reasonable solution.
If someone can either inform me why one of these didn't work or let me know how to accomplish my goal of getting yum install <package> to work I would greatly appreciate it.
As posted in the comments, in order to utilize yum on a RHEL system you need an active subscription
We are trying to install Ambari server following the manual Install Ambari 2.2.1 from Public Repositories.
When we tried to install the Ambari server with the command yum install ambari-server it returns that it is nothing to do.
The ambari.repo is:

The problem was that the OS installed was of 32 bits and it is obligatory install the 64 bits OS.
Just clear the yum cache and then try again it will be solved your problem.
yum clean all
yum install ambari-server
Note: Make sure you kept the ambari.repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ location
This happens in case:
Package (ambari-server) is already installed
Repolist can't find the package (ambari-server).
First run yum list all if it's not listing package then run
yum clean all
Again run yum list all
If it's not listing your package you need to add .repo file for the same in /etc/yum.repos.d
Recently reinstalled my computer with Ubuntu 14.04.
This pc is to be used to develop ASP.NET mono applications.
So I installed the latest 3.12.0 version of Mono.
Also installed Apache2 (2.4.7 is the latest).
Last thing is to install Mod_Mono. This is where it fails.
sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-mono

So I tried to install apache2.2-common but that does not exist, there is only a apache2.2-bin. I installed that and it still did not solve my problem.

Package apache2.2-common is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:

Any suggestions to what I can do so I can host my Mono application through apache2?
Solved this issue by installing Apache 2.2.22.
Had a bit of trouble doing that, but finally installed it running this command.
sudo apt-get install apache2=2.2.22-1ubuntu1.7 apache2.2-common=2.2.22-1ubuntu1.7 apache2.2-bin=2.2.22-1ubuntu1.7 apache2-mpm-worker=2.2.22-1ubuntu1.7
Note: you need to add the precise repository to your software sources, else you won't have the package available to install.
I'm installing GNU Radio and following the instruction here
But everytime I try to do sudo yum install gnuradio, it says

It's a fresh installed CentOS 6.5 and I've never edited CentOS yum repository information. What's wrong with gnuradio? They've removed the package from yum repository?
In their website, they provide several ways to install it including PyBOMBS. But I prefer yum. Building from source is somewhat bothering me so it's the last thing I will try.
By default CentOS does not include all the repositories needed by gnuradio and its dependencies.
You additionally need to configure/add at least RPMForge and Epel for your CentOS.

This is what I was told, but I have not yet tested this so cannot say is is correct for sure.
