I have a client who over the years has managed to get their product to the top of Google for many different search terms. They're adamant that the new site shouldn't have a detrimental effect to their google ranking.
The site will be replacing the site that is on there current domain, as well as going up on to 5 further domains.
Will any of this lose the client there current ranking on google?
Google re-ranks the sites it has regularly. If the site changes, the ranking very well could... if more or fewer people link to it or if the terms on the site (the content) is different.
The effect might be good or bad, but uploading different content isn't going to make their rank go away overnight or anything like that.
Page Rank is most about incoming links. So if the incoming links won't be broken page rank will not be affected that much.
Though, overall ranking is not just Page Rank, so... further discussion is needed
if they retain current link structure they should be fine

I have sort of a problem how to use Google Analytics properly with Boostrap.
My page has 3 level deep subpages and the last subpage has it's own subdomain. In GA I see I can use max. 50 tracking codes within one service. What if I need more than that?
You are limited to 50 properties not 50 pages. Each property can track many pages and (up to 10 million hits a month for the free version) and events.
Typically you would use the same property code on all pages on the same site so you can see all that data together (though with option to drill down).
You would only use a new property code for a new site (though your subdomain might qualify for that if you want to track it separately).
So the two questions you want to ask yourself are:
Do you want to be able to report on two pages together? E.g. To see that your site gets 10,000 hits and 20% are for this page and 5% are for that page. Or people start at this page and then go to that page and then on to this page. If so it should be the same analytics property.
Do different people need to see these page stats? And is it a problem if they do? If so put as a separate property so you can permission separately.
It sounds like these are part of the same site so I'd be veering towards tracking them together on same property.
On a different note you should set one page as the main version (with a rel canonical tag) and redirect other version to that page to avoid confusing search engines thinking you have duplicated content. Do you have a reason for having the same content on two different addresses? It can cause SEO and other problems.
A friend of mine has opened a local business and not knowing what to do choose a URL with the name of her company (which is a playword). The chosen name is quite bad for google ranking because not meaningful: not indicating the nature of business nor the location (city).
I would like her to buy two new domains:
businessname-business-type-city.com
businessnamebusinesstypecity.com
is that still ok with google? I was doing that some years ago and ranked first on the search.
You can get as many domain names as you want, and set up the DNS to point to the ip of playword. But don't think it would be worth it, and no guarantee it would generate more hits.. Google search take location in consideration, so you're probably best of branding playword, and generate buzz in other ways; social media, flyers, many Google ads, and sponsored posts on Facebook
And be sure to have good semantics on your page
If the domain name is the name of the business then it is meaningful. Value of keywords in domain names has been diminished in recent times. Market the business, not the domain name. (And google local business results will help)
I want to sell some products that are also prezent on another webshop. They are providing a datafeed with every information about the product, and they have nothing against that i post the info on my webshop.
The question is should i worry about duplicate content? The number of products is to high and it`s not worth rewriteing their description. Will google think that i stole the content?
Depends.
Personally i would prevent Google from indexing DC pages by adding this to the <head>...</head>:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex,follow"/>
The URLs, which come into question, won't rank anyway. So it's (usually) Ok to keep them completely out of Google's sight and don't have to worry any more about all the Algorithm-Updates.
Or, if i have a lot of pages and need more Crawl-Budget, i would use the robots.txt file:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /path/to/affiliate/products/
In this case the Linkjuice cannot flow freely within my site anymore, but all the important pages get indexed. Plus it's incredibly easy to implement. (Just don't do this if you have a lot of deeplinks to your Products from your Homepage etc.)

So to make a long story short - I really don't say "start panic" or whatever, i just say "remove everything from your site which could send out negative signals to Google, so you don't have to worry about it anymore" and then you can go on and build up your Brand to sell as many products as possible ;o)
Do worry about the content the site comes under the category of Affiliate sites so the product description would be same. it wont effect your site
If you want to do it properly I would get all the content re-writen. There is an amazing service out there too callws wordai.com.
Their site will re-write the content for you as if a human has on the Turing Plan.
You can then check the content with copyscape.com too see how unique it is!

Trying to work out what to do in regard to a redirect of a new client real estate website.
We have no access at all to the old site and the url structure on new is forcibly different due to randomly generated property IDs (our system generates a different ID from old)
The old url structure is www.mydomain.com/property/view?=1111
The new url structure is www.mydomain.com/property/street-name/2222
My instinct is to do manual 301s for every property (about 6000), matching by page title, but sadly I cant as I have no access to the structure of the old website and despite spidering it numerous times I cant get a pull of all properties off.
If any could give me any advice on what best to do to avoid bad user experience and a google frying, would really appreciate it.

It depends on what the 1111 is. If that corresponds to an MLS ID number (some sort of UID) then you should be able to use regex to get it to work. Most of the IDX vendors offer a way to grab listings via an MLSID.
If that 1111 is instead just a GUID of the previous IDX vendor, then you might be out of luck and would need to do everything manually.
I want to know the page rank for certain key words against my page. For example I wrote "best movies 2012" my page does come, but in 30th to 50th page. I want to query in the result set Google gave against my keywords so that I can see the rank of my page and my competitors against typical keywords.
I think you may be confusing PageRank with positions. PageRank is an algorithm that Google uses to determine the authority of your site. This doesn't always affect the positions of certain keywords.

You need to compare your webpage PageRank and website PR against those of the competition. The best indication we have of website PR is the HomePage PagRank.
Ensure that you do this for the appropriate Google domain - USA - Google.com - UK Google.co.uk etc
