Facebook page insights via API - api

I would like to access the insights of a Facebook page via the API. It is very well possible to obtain the insights of a Facebook app via the graph API, but I cannot find something similar for Facebook pages. Am I missing something?
Specifically, I am looking for stats such as total users, active users, posts, etc, preferrably over time as well.

Insights table docs say it is possible to retrieve metrics for all pages that are owned by currently logged in user after requesting read_insights extended permission. I think after that graph insights should work (/<page_id>/insights?access_token=...). If not then you probably need to use FQL (they have example in docs for getting page metrics).

The trailing slash is breaking this query. If you remove it you will see insights if permissions are correct, or "Only administrators of applications, pages, and domains can retrieve Insights" if not.

How to get the list of most followed twitter users

I will like to know if its possible to retrieve a list of the most followed users (say top 20 users) on twitter through twitter's api. I cant see how to achieve that through any of the endpoints. How do web apps like this https://socialblade.com/twitter/ get that kind of data?
Any insights on this will be helpful.
There is no API for this. You would need to take an opinionated view of the high-volume celebrity accounts, and then watch the accounts by polling the user endpoints regularly. You could also use the commercial streaming APIs to watch the most Tweeted accounts and check the user objects on a regular basis.
(note that this is the same answer you were provided on the Twitter developer forums)

How can I get Instagram API Permissions?

I have the problem in Instagram Permissions that I sent 2 submissions, which got denied... LOL My app needs public_content Scope but Instagram approved only my basic request. I am wondering whether you may help me to use my app to solve this issue.
Regards: amir
Try using this call of api to get the access code
https://api.instagram.com/oauth/authorize/?client_id=[]&redirect_uri=[]&response_type=code&scope=public_content
Try reading the oficial Instagram developer guide. This links can help you.
link | https://www.instagram.com/developer/review/
link | https://www.instagram.com/developer/authorization/
In this website you can read about permissions on three main criteria.
Criteria for Review
1. Utility
The requested permissions must provide a non-automated, authentic, high-quality experience to your user and the larger Instagram community.
2. Visibility
Data gained from the permission needs to be tied to a direct use and visibly used within your app. We do not accept permission requests for data that you may decide to use later.
3. Validity
The requested permission needs to be tied to a valid use case.

How do sites like Instagress bypass Instagram's API?

I just discovered Instagress.com, and noticed that they ask you for your Instagram username and password to automate certain activity such as likes, comments, follows, etc. on your IG account. However they do this without using IG's official API since their service is obviously against IG's TOS.
So I'm wondering, how are they technically able to do this? I was thinking they use something like Selenium, but this only automates web browsers and (for all I know) it's impossible to perform those interaction through Instagram's web interface.
Any ideas?
I just checked..and actually you CAN Like, Comment, and Follow via Instagram's web interface. So most likely they do use a browser and/or mask it as a mobile device. Also they are not using any IG app to authenticate your profile to any api app. Otherwise it would show up here: https://instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/
the instagram web access can allow you like, comment and follow and unfollow

Is it possible to login as a page using Google+ Login

Is it possible to use Google+ login page to allow users to login as pages to the site?
Otherwise, is there an API to get information about a logged in user pages? Or do I need to request access to Pages API?
In some cases, this is possible. However, the user would need to register a password on their page, which, according to the help topic, "is currently not available to pages owned by Google Apps accounts or users under the age of 18". I don't believe most people have this set up. You could request having such people set this up, but if they fall under that group they would be out of luck.
As such, I would recommend that you look for another way of doing this.

using foursquare api v2 to get herenow of a venue

on the documentation page, https://developer.foursquare.com/overview/venues, it says that
The Venues Platform lets developers use foursquare as their location
layer. Applications can search our database and find information
including tips, photos, check-in counts, and here now. Searches can be
done near a point or through a whole city, and they can be restricted
to trending or recommended places. The platform offers all of this
without requiring end user authentication and is available at high
rate limits.
however, when i send request like:
https://api.foursquare.com/v2/venues/4ad7a112f964a520050d21e3/herenow?client_id=myclientid&client_secret=myclientsecret&v=20120119
i got this:
{"meta":{"code":200},"response":{"hereNow":{"count":16,"items":[]}}}
is there anything i need to do, such as register as a venue platform developer, to get the list of people who are here? thanks!
You cannot get the users information without authenticating [ :( ]
Check out the documentation at the herenow endpoint page.
Specifically the first line:
Provides a count of how many people are at a given venue. If the request is user authenticated, also returns a list of the users there, friends-first.
