I'm using XISelectEvents for root window with deviceid=XIAllDevices and mask=XI_RawMotion, but I don't get any events. What's wrong?
While looking through the header files, I noticed that there is XI_RawMotion and XI_RawMotionMask. Does the later fix your problem?

I have been using Fancytree quite successfully for several years. Of late a new requirement has arisen. I would like to change the tooltip for a node that is currently visible. Is there a way to do this? How? Using an API? I have tried changing the tooltip property of an existing Fancytree node. Strangely, this did not work. What will work? Thank you.
Over on Github, this was resolved by Mr. Wendt. He suggested calling node.renderTitle() after modifying node.tooltip (which was correct) and he found a typo in my code. See Github issue #1093
I am trying to zoom out of my current webpage (not just the css elements) using Nightwatch. I have been trying to use the .keys() method that is already provided in the framework by using
browser.keys([browser.Keys.CONTROL, browser.Keys.SUBTRACT])
and
browser.keys([browser.Keys.CONTROL, browser.Keys.SUBTRACT], browser.Keys.NULL)
as well as
broswer.keys('\ue009', '\ue027')
but nothing seems to be zooming out properly. Am I using the correct syntax or is there another way to zoom out using the keys? Thank you for your help
Instead of:
browser.keys([browser.Keys.CONTROL, browser.Keys.SUBTRACT], browser.Keys.NULL)
try this:
browser.keys([browser.Keys.CONTROL, "browser.Keys.SUBTRACT", browser.Keys.NULL]);
If the above solution doesn't work for someone, you can do this:
browser.execute("document.body.style.zoom='50%'");
With CHTCollectionViewWaterfallFlowLayout implemented, my viewForSupplementaryElementOfKind and referenceSizeForFooterInSection are not called.
This only happens with collectionViews that use CHTCollectionViewWaterfallFlowLayout. The library readme states that it supports header and footer, but not seem to be the case? Or am I missing something here?

I've tried opening an issue but haven't seen anything.
Thanks!
i'm facing one problem about attaching movieclip from loaded movie, so basically we have a Map
Map.loadMovie("SimpleMap.swf");
in this map there's a npc dialogue with its name "Dialogue1" I want to attach it to the client. It should be basically something like
_root.attachMovie("Map.Dialogue1", "dialogue", _root.getNextHighestDepth());
but it seems I can't get it to work. Anyone can help?
Note: Also I want to attach the movieclip to the client instead of the map, else I would use Map.attachMovie
it's been a while since I wrote any Actionscript 2 stuff, but have you tried removing the quotes around Map.Dialogue1 ? - If I remember correctly passing a string would make Flash look for the symbol in the library, not from the global or current scope...
_root.attachMovie(Map.Dialogue1, "dialogue", _root.getNextHighestDepth());
If you want you can import mx.core.UIObject and then use the method _root.createObject() (or if it is O-O use createClassObject()).
It is going to attach the "npc dialog" as an object... you need to specify the linkage name and give the instance a name. So for example if you called the dialog "npc_dialog" in the library then use:
_root.createObject("npc_dialog", "my_npc", _root.getNextHighestDepth());
Here is something else you can try... go to the library and drag a instance of the movie onto the stage somewhere where it will not be seen, like for instance on the next key frame or off the stage then try to run attachMovie().
What happens is flash will compile the clip in the most efficient way possible so if it sees you imported a package but did not use it then it will ignore this class in the compiled clip... so when you go to run and it tries to attach the movie it can't find it.
On the safari browser, the standard <asp:Menu> doesn't render well at all. How can this be fixed?
Thanks for the advice, it led me into the following solution;
I created a file named "safari.browser" and placed it in the App_Browsers directory. The content of this file is shown below;
<browsers>
<browser refID="safari1plus">
<controlAdapters>
<adapter controlType="System.Web.UI.WebControls.Menu" adapterType="" />
</controlAdapters>
</browser>
</browsers>
As I understand it, this tells ASP.NET not to use the adaptor it would normally use to render the control content and instead use uplevel rendering.
You can use ControlAdapters to alter the rendering of server controls.
Here's an example:

Though, in my opinion it might be equal amount of work to abandon the menu control for a pure css one (available on many sites).
Oooof - was hoping it would be a simmple case of adding a browserCaps item in web.config with appropriate values or similar...
The best and simplest solution I've found for this problem is to include this bit of code in your page_load event.
if (Request.UserAgent.IndexOf("AppleWebKit") > 0)
Request.Browser.Adapters.Clear();
