weird error about WCF -- System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException was unhandled - wcf

I created a simple WCF demo:
Server Side:
namespace ServerSide
{
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
System.ServiceModel.ServiceHost host =
new System.ServiceModel.ServiceHost(typeof(HelloIndigo.HelloIndigoService), new Uri("http://locahost:8000/HelloIndigo"));
host.AddServiceEndpoint(typeof(HelloIndigo.IHelloIndigoService), new System.ServiceModel.BasicHttpBinding(), "HelloIndigoService");
host.Open();
Console.Write("Terminate Server");
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}
Client Side:
namespace ClientSide
{
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
System.ServiceModel.EndpointAddress ep =
new System.ServiceModel.EndpointAddress("http://locahost:8000/HelloIndigo/HelloIndigoService");
IHelloIndigoService proxy =
System.ServiceModel.ChannelFactory<IHelloIndigoService>.CreateChannel(new System.ServiceModel.BasicHttpBinding(), ep);
string s = proxy.HelloIndigo();
Console.WriteLine(s);
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}
Then, run ServerSide, when I tried to run the CLientSide, I got following error msg:
An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://locahost:8000/HelloIndigo/HelloIndigoService. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.
And the error details:
System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException was unhandled
Message="An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://locahost:8000/HelloIndigo/HelloIndigoService. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. WIF Token Issuing Fails After Certificate Update

Our certificate is expiring and we thought changing it, and the services using it, would be as simple as updating the certificate and updating the services with the certificate's new thumbprint, but that was not the case.
Now, this code was inherited, I didn't write it, so I'm trying to figure stuff out. It breaks right here:
var issuedToken = channel.Issue(rst) as GenericXmlSecurityToken;
All the services that this thing is supposedly hitting have been updated with the new certificate as well. Any pointers are greatly appreciated!

It seems the exception is thrown on connecting to ADFS. I'd check the ADFS Admin/Debug logs to see if ADFS has any issues with certificate i.e. validating chain trust or Revocation. I think, you're very likely running into the issue where ADFS fails validating chain trust or Revocation.

WCF-NetNamedPipe's ChannelFactory

Update 20121214
consultation with the developers of the conflict service,
they use net.pipe://echonet as service address,
and use DuplexChannelFactory.
why it will block my Pipe?
Question:
I have a very simple WCF application.
Service and Client through NetNamedPipe communication.
But it is strange , some machines may be the reason because other software,
resulting in the ChannelFactory began to call the Service, throw an exception : System.ServiceModel.ProtocolException .
How could I know which application catch my WCF message,
and how should I avoid this problem.
here is exception:
System.ServiceModel.ProtocolException: The requested upgrade is not supported by 'net.pipe://localhost/xxxx/xxxx'. This could be due to mismatched bindings (for example security enabled on the client and not on the server)

Connection Close is usually a security issue. So you could not authenticate with the server hence connection is closed.
First you need to look at the server to find out what is happening. The error will be more readable at the server.
Second, share your binding so we can help more
You need to enable (for debugging) errors to be passed to the client. That needs to be set on the server.

BizTalk & WCF Service: Couldn't find type for class System Diagnostics.TextWriterTraceListener?

I created a simple orchestration to call a WCF service and get response from it. Web service method is very simple:
string GetSimple(int value)
BizTalk monitors a folder and receives activation message using FILE adapter from there, then constructs proper message and calls the web service. But fails with this exception:

It seems there's a problem with the config file of the WCF service or BTSNtSvc.exe.config. BizTalk seems to be sending the correct request.
Most likely, your config around logging messages from WCF is having issues or BTSNtSvc.exe.config having incorrect parameters around logging.
You may want to call the service from standard .net client to narrow down the problem.
