I have a problem with importing owl files using owl api in Java. I successfully can import 2 owl files. However, a problem occurs, when I try to import 3 or more owl files that are integrated to each other.
E.g.
Base.owl -- base ontology
Electronics.owl -- electronics ontology which imports Base.owl
Telephone.owl -- telephone ontology which imports Base.owl and Electronics.owl
When, I just import Base.owl and run Electronics.owl, it works smoothly. The code is given below:
File fileBase = new File("filepath/Base.owl");
File fileElectronic = new File("filePath/Electronic.owl");
SimpleIRIMapper iriMapper = new SimpleIRIMapper(IRI.create("url/Base.owl"),
IRI.create(fileBase));
OWLOntologyManager manager = OWLManager.createOWLOntologyManager();
manager.addIRIMapper(iriMapper);
OWLOntology ont = manager.loadOntologyFromOntologyDocument(fileElectronic);
However, when I want to load Telephone.owl, I just create an additional iriMapper and add it to the manager. The additional code is shown with ** :
File fileBase = new File("filepath/Base.owl");
File fileElectronic = new File("filePath/Electronic.owl");
**File fileTelephone = new File("filePath/Telephone.owl");**
SimpleIRIMapper iriMapper = new SimpleIRIMapper(IRI.create("url/Base.owl"),
IRI.create(fileBase));
**SimpleIRIMapper iriMapper2 = new SimpleIRIMapper(IRI.create("url/Electronic.owl"),
IRI.create(fileElectronic));**
OWLOntologyManager manager = OWLManager.createOWLOntologyManager();
manager.addIRIMapper(iriMapper);
**manager.addIRIMapper(iriMapper2);**
OWLOntology ont = manager.loadOntologyFromOntologyDocument(**fileTelephone**);
The code shown above gives this error :
Could not load import:
Import(url/Electronic.owl>)
Reason: Could not loaded imported ontology:
<url/Base.owl> Cause: null
It would be really appreciated, if someone gives me a hand...
Thanks in advance...
I know this question is old, but it was my first hit on google seraching for a similar problem (loading many owl-imports). And I need a lot of time to find an answer.
So for all who have the problem that the owlapi will say: "Could not loaded imported ontology": The owlapi provides a utility-class named "AutoIRIMapper" (described here: http://owlapi.sourceforge.net/2.x.x/utilityclasses.html and http://owlapi.sourceforge.net/javadoc/index.html).
Once created an instance of "AutoIRIMapper" can be addaded to the "OWLOntologyManager" using the following code:
"manager.addIRIMapper(autoIRIMapper);"
After that the OWLOntologyManager will be able to automatically load all imported OWL-Files.
I hope that will help someone.
if you want to make a request to the manager to load an ontology declared in an imports statement, you can use the makeLoadImportRequest method, which takes an OWLImportsDeclaration as a parameter.
See whether that solves your problem.
Good luck!

If you read the jax source code you'll hit something called xla_client. Often imported like this
from . import xla_client
This implies that xla_client is a python module, but I can't find any file with that name or reference to a variable of that name.
I assume that it is related to https://pypi.org/project/jaxlib/, but this package just links back to the jax source code.
Can anybody clue me in?
The file you're referring to is stored at https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/tree/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python
Let me expound further: xla_client is partly a wrapper around a specially compiled c++ file called xla_extension.so, for example see
from . import xla_extension as _xla
and numerous references to _xla throughout xla_config. The source for this file is https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python/xla.cc, which we know because it says so quite clearly in https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python/BUILD
pybind_extension(
name = "xla_extension",
srcs = [
"xla.cc",
],

I've been trying to create a new repository on a remote GraphDB server using RDF4J, but I'm having problems.
This runs, but is seemingly not correct
HTTPRepositoryConfig implConfig = new HTTPRepositoryConfig(address);
RepositoryConfig repoConfig = new RepositoryConfig("test", "test", implConfig);
Model m = new
However, based on the info I get from "edit repository" in the workbench, the result doesn't look right. All the values are empty, except for id and title.
This fails
I tried to copy the settings from an existing repository that I created on the workbench, but that failed with:
org.eclipse.rdf4j.repository.config.RepositoryConfigException:
Unsupported repository type: owlim:MonitorRepository
The code for that attempt is inspired by the one found here . Except that the config file is based on an existing repo, as explained above. I also tried to config file provided in the example, but that failed aswell:
org.eclipse.rdf4j.repository.config.RepositoryConfigException:
Unsupported Sail type: graphdb:FreeSail
Anyone got any tips?
UPDATE
As Henriette Harmse correctly pointed out, I should have provided my code, not simply linked to it. That way I might have discovered that I hadn't done a complete copy after all, but changed the important first bits that she points out in her answer. Full code below:
String address = "serveradr";
RemoteRepositoryManager repositoryManager = new RemoteRepositoryManager( address);
repositoryManager.initialize();
// Instantiate a repository graph model
TreeModel graph = new TreeModel();
InputStream config = Rdf4jHelper.class.getResourceAsStream("/repoconf2.ttl");
RDFParser rdfParser = Rio.createParser(RDFFormat.TURTLE);
rdfParser.setRDFHandler(new StatementCollector(graph));
rdfParser.parse(config, RepositoryConfigSchema.NAMESPACE);
config.close();
// Retrieve the repository node as a resource
Resource repositoryNode = graph.filter(null, RDF.TYPE, RepositoryConfigSchema.REPOSITORY).subjects().iterator().next();
// Create a repository configuration object and add it to the repositoryManager
RepositoryConfig repositoryConfig = RepositoryConfig.create(graph, repositoryNode);
It fails on the last line.
ANSWERED #HenrietteHarmse gives the correct method in her answer below. The error is caused by missing dependencies. Instead of using RDF4J directly, I should have used the graphdb-free-runtime.
There are a number of issues here:
(1) RepositoryManager repositoryManager = new LocalRepositoryManager(new File(".")); will create a repository where ever your Java application is running from.
(2) Changing to new LocalRepositoryManager(new File("$GraphDBInstall/data/repositories")) will cause the repository to be created under the control of GraphDB (assuming you have a local GraphDB instance) only if GraphDB is not running. If you start GraphDB after running your program, you will be able to see the repository in GraphDB workbench.
(3) What you need to do is get the repository manager of the remote GraphDB, which can be done with RepositoryManager repositoryManager = RepositoryProvider.getRepositoryManager("http://IPAddressOfGraphDB:7200");.
(4) In the way you have specified the config, you cause the RDF graph config to be lost. The correct way to specify it is:
RepositoryConfig repositoryConfig = RepositoryConfig.create(graph, repositoryNode);
repositoryManager.addRepositoryConfig(repositoryConfig);
(5) A minor issue is that GraphUtil.getUniqueSubject(...) has been deprecated, for which you can use something like the following:
Model model = graph.filter(null, RDF.TYPE, RepositoryConfigSchema.REPOSITORY);
Iterator<Statement> iterator = model.iterator();
if (!iterator.hasNext())
throw new RuntimeException("Oops, no <http://www.openrdf.org/config/repository#> subject found!");
Statement statement = iterator.next();
Resource repositoryNode = statement.getSubject();
EDIT on 20180408:
(5) Or you can use the compact option as #JeenBroekstra suggested in the comments:
Models.subject(
graph.filter(null, RDF.TYPE, RepositoryConfigSchema.REPOSITORY))
.orElseThrow(() -> new RuntimeException("Oops, no <http://www.openrdf.org/config/repository#> subject found!"));
EDIT on 20180409:
For convenience I have added the complete code example here.
EDIT on 20180410:
So the actual culprit turned out to be an incorrect pom.xml. The correct version is as below:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.ontotext.graphdb</groupId>
<artifactId>graphdb-free-runtime</artifactId>
<version>8.4.1</version>
</dependency>
I believe I just had the same issue. I used the example code from GraphDB Free for running with RDF4J as a remote service and ran into the same exception as you (Unsupported Sail type: graphdb:FreeSail). Henriette Harmse's answer does not directly address this issue but one should follow the suggestions given there to avoid running into issues later. In addition, based on a look into the RDF4J code you need the following dependency in your pom.xml file (assuming GraphDB 8.5):
<dependency>
<groupId>com.ontotext.graphdb</groupId>
<artifactId>graphdb-free-runtime</artifactId>
<version>8.5.0</version>
</dependency>
This seems to be because there is some kind of service loading going on with META-INF, which I frankly am not familiar with. Maybe someone can provide more details in the comments. The requirement for adding this dependency in also seems to be absent from the instructions, so if this works for you, please let me know. Others who followed the same steps we did should be able to resolve this issue as well then.
This is my first experience of using PDFBox jar files. Also, I have recently started working on TestComplete. In short, all these things are new for me and I have been stuck on one issue for last few hours. I will try to explain as much as I can. Would really appreciate any help!
Objective:
To save an image present in a PDF file on the file system
Issue:
When this line gets executed objImage.write2file_2(strSavePath);, I get the error Object doesn't support this property or method.
I am taking some help from here
Code:
function fn_PDFImage()
{
var objPdfFile, strPdfFilePath, strSavePath, objPages, objPage, objImages, objImage, imgbuffer;
strPdfFilePath = "C:\\Users\\aabb\\Desktop\\name.pdf";
strSavePath = "C:\\Users\\aabb\\Desktop\\abc";
objPdfFile = JavaClasses.org_apache_pdfbox_pdmodel.PDDocument.load_3(strPdfFilePath);
objPages = objPdfFile.getDocumentCatalog().getAllPages();
//getting a page with index=1
objPage = objPages.get(1)
objImages = objPage.getResources().getXObjects().values().toArray();
Log.Message(objImages.length); //This is returning 14. i.e, 14 images
//getting an image with index=1
objImage = objImages.items(1);
Log.Message(typeof objImage); //returns "Object" which means it is not null
//saving the image
objImage.write2file_2(strSavePath); //<---GETTING AN ERROR HERE
}
ERROR:
If you are bothered about the method namewrite2file_2, please read this excerpt from the link which I have shared:
In Java, the constructor of a class has the name of this class.
TestComplete changes the constructor names to newInstance(). If a
class has overloaded constructors, TestComplete names them like
newInstance, newInstace_2, newInstance_3 and so on.
Additional Info:
I have imported Jar file(pdfbox-app-1.8.13.jar) and their classes in testcomplete. I am not sure if I need to import some other jar file or its class here:
XObjects are not always image XObjects. And write2file is in the class PDXObjectImage so you need to check your object type first.
Re the second question asked in the comment: the form XObject isn't something you can save. XObject forms are content streams with resources etc, similar to pages. However what you can do is to explore these too whether the resources have images. See how this is done in the ExtractImages source code of PDFBox 1.8.
However there are other places where there can be images (e.g. patterns, soft masks, inline images); this is only available in PDFBox 2.*, see the ExtractImages source code there. (Note that the class names are different).
I have a standalone java application which will interact with my web application running on node. I am trying to add new rules dynamically through web UI. So far I am unable to figure it out, how to create and add rules. Any suggestions for the right direction would be helpful
This is basically a duplicate of https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25036973 so the following is basically a duplicate of my answer to that question...
It's probably best to just look at the Drools examples source code. For instance the KieFileSystem example shows how to create a rule from a String and launch a session which includes it.
The essentials are that you create a KieServices, which contains a virtual file system. You then add rules to that file system. A little bit like the following:
KieServices ks = KieServices.Factory.get();
KieRepository kr = ks.getRepository();
KieFileSystem kfs = ks.newKieFileSystem();
kfs.write("src/main/resources/my/rules/therule.drl", "The source code of the rule");
KieBuilder kb = ks.newKieBuilder(kfs);
kb.buildAll();
you can add multiple Compiled rule DRL files like
knowledgebuilder.add(new ByteArrayResource(compiledDRL.getBytes()),ResourceType.DRL);
Get all the knowledgePackages and fire the all rules
knowledgeBase kbase = knowledgeBaseFactory.newKnowledgeBase();
kbase.addknowledgePackages(knowledgeBuilder.getKnowledgePackages());
knowledgeSession ksession = kbase.newStatefullKnowledgeSession();
ksession.insert(inputObject);
ksession.fireAllRules();
ksession.dispose();
I need to embed some resource in a pure compiled dll written in php using phalanger.
These are txt files tha I set in visual studio as "Embedded Resource".
My problem is that I cannot use the Assembly class to get the resource using GetManifestResourceStream.
I tried code like this:
use System\Reflection\Assembly
$asm = Assembly::GetExecutingAssembly(); //this gives me mscorlib instead of my dll
$str = $asm->GetManifestResourceStream("name");
My question is: how do I get access to embedded resources in phalanger?
Many thanks
I'm not sure, why Assembly::GetExecutingAssembly() returns an incorrect value. Anyway to workaround the $asm value, use following code:
$MyType = CLRTypeOf MyProgram;
$asm = $MyType->Assembly;
Then you can access embedded resources as you posted
$asm->GetManifestResourceStream("TextFile1.txt");
or you can include standard resource file (.resx) into your project, and use \System\Resources\ResourceManager
$this->manager = new \System\Resources\ResourceManager("",$asm);
$this->manager->GetObject("String1",null);
Just note, currently there can be just one .resx within Phalanger project
This question is old, but the part of the Phalanger code (Php.Core.Emit.AddResourceFile() method) responsible for this hasn't changed since this was asked. I faced the same problem and solved it in (almost) non-hacky way. You have to provide alternative name (/res:/path/to/filename,alternative-name) for this to work though.
$asm = clr_typeof('self')->Assembly;
$resourceStream = $asm->GetManifestResourceStream("filename");
$reader = new \System\Resources\ResourceReader($resourceStream);
$type = $data = null;
$reader->GetResourceData("alternative-name", $type, $data);
// and still there are 4 excess bytes
// representing the length of the resource
$data = \substr($data, 4);
$stream = new IO\MemoryStream($data);
// after this $stream is usable as you would expect
Straightforward GetManifestResourceStream() (as suggested by Jakub) does not work because Phalanger does not use System.Reflection.Emit.ModuleBuilder.DefineManifestResource() (like I think it should when supplied with unrecognized file format). It uses ModuleBuilder.DefineResource() which returns ResourceWriter instead, that only really suited for .resources files. And this is what dictates the requirement to use ResourceReader when you need to read your resource.
Note: This answer applies to Phalanger master branch at the time of writing and prior versions since circa 2011. Noted because it looks like a bug (especially the need to use both original and alternative names).
