Apache Internal Server Error without log entry - apache

Are there cases where the Apache2 HTTP Server responds with an internal server error (Response code 500), yet does NOT write an entry into the server's error log file?
I experience such a case and have no idea what's going on. I already checked that the server generally logs errors by requesting a badly formed php script.

Mismatching versions of php and php-mssql caused this.

URL works fine from browser but from google plus we get a internal service error

The website URL works fine. The link from google maps on the phone works fine. For some reason when you google it in the browser (mobile browser or desktop) you get an Internal Service Error. Google said it was nothing on their end to be done.
Has anyone encountered this or have an idea of what's causing it? The error received is below.
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache Server at www.thetechbuyer.com Port 80
As the error suggests, an Internal Server Error is internal to your webapp or web service on your host. It usually means that your program, whatever it is doing, has crashed. This could be because of misconfiguration, or a bug in your code, or something else - without knowing more (possibly a lot more) about your server environment, it is impossible to know what.
Check your server logs - they should have more information.
(It also isn't clear what this has to do with Google+.)

I have a web server Apache setup question

Good morning . For the first time I have written to stackoverflow.
Currently we have a running server. We are using Apache as the web server and WebLogic 10.3.6 as the WAS server.
There is a problem here ... The WAS server has an action that generates a specific error code when accessing it directly. This particular error code is the 902 error code.
When you log in again, you will be given an error code of 902. If you access WAS directly, it will return error code 902.
However, when you access the web server (domain address), it will return a 500 error code instead of 902. Obviously this seems to be a problem with setting up a web server. I do not know where to return the 500 error code instead of the 902 error code.
Do you have any of these in your Apache configuration? I did not set up my own web server but I did not know that someone else was going out.
If you have a similar experience, please help. Thank you.

apache seems to ignore "Internal Server Error" returned by CGI script

I'm writing a Python CGI script and trying to test the behaviour of the system when I need to return Status: 500 Internal Server Error.
My script is something like that:
#!/usr/bin/env python3
print("Content-type: text/html")
print("Status: 500 Internal Server Error")
print()
When I run this script there is a report in apache access log with code 500, but it's not reported in the error log. I also don't get a "500 page" in the browser.
If an internal error is caused by some other means (e.g., a script that is not executable, or contains bad HTTP header) I do get the "normal" behaviour of internal server error.
It seems like apache is ignoring, somehow, the status returned from (my) CGI scripts. I've searched for an answer but couldn't find anything.
Just for clarity, CGI is working fine on this server in any other aspect.
Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
Thansk,
Amit
Answering to myself: it seems that I was barking up the wrong tree. Based on some clues and more empirical results, It seems that when passing a request to an external script (e.g. a cgi script, php etc) the apache server expects the external script to handle any error, and it's the responsibility of the external script's to return a document that includes the error code and an error message. The external script is also responsible to log the error (it's usually enough to print it to the standard error, and it'll be picked by apache and be written to its error log).
So, for example, if my cgi script needs to report an "Internal Server Error" it is not enough to return just the header (see in my question), but it should create and return the whole error message, in HTML format. In addition, it should print an error message to the standard error.
I haven't found an official source for that, but perhaps I somehow overlooked it.

Phusion Passenger internal server error

I'm using Apache + Passenger on my Linode server, with a Postgresql-9.4 database. Every so often, I get the following error, but it is unpredictable and rights itself a few minutes later with no actions taken, so it is extremely hard to debug:
Internal server error
Phusion Passenger has listed more information about the error below.
An error occurred while starting the web application. It sent an unknown response type "".
Has anyone else run into an error like this, or know what it could imply?
Firstly go through this question, as it might solve your problem:

Apache upload failed when file size is over 100k

Below it is some information about my problem.
Our Apache2.2 is on windows 2008 server.
Basically the problem is user fails to upload file which is bigger than 100k to our server.
The error in Apache log is: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. : Error reading request entity data, referer: ......
There were a few times (not always) I could upload larger files(100k-800k, failed for 20m) in Chrome. In FF4 it always fails for uploading file over 100k. In IE8 it is similar to FF4.
It seems that it fails to get request from client, then I reset TimeOut in Apache setting to default value(300) which did not help at all.
I do not have the RequestLimitBody option set up and I am not using PHP. Anyone saw the similar error before? Now I am not sure what I can try next. Any advise would be appreciated!
Edit:
I just tried to use remote desk to upload files on the server and it worked fine. First thought was about the firewall which however is off all the time, Http Proxy is applied though.
