I have plesk 8.3.0, with phpmyadmin 2.8.2.4
I tried to look up where the phpmyadmin is located. I couldn't find it in srv/ and i did a find command in the server and not quite sure where it is actually located.
What I want to do is to set up a phpmyadmin under /httpdocs so that I dont have to login to plesk and click many times until i can launch phpmyadmin..
Any idea? thanks.
This may vary for different Plesk versions.
Phpmyadmin is in /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/databases/phpMyAdmin/ on mine.
As stated by #AlecTMH it may vary between versions of Plesk. His answer was fine for me before but now, after having done some updates to Plesk (am currently on version 18.0.31 Obsidian), I had to do a bit of searching on my drive to locate it, it is now here: /opt/psa/phpMyAdmin .
I'm not really familiar with Plesk, but I've used hosts that had a roundabout way to getting to phpMyAdmin. I've always just clicked around until it launched phpMyAdmin, then bookmarked that page so I didn't have to bother remembering the arbitrary address. Sorry I can't be of more help.

So, I just set up a brand new VPS, installed LAMP, all systems and services working.
I've tried almost everything I could find here on Stack Overflow and other guides, ranging from adding things to Apache's default.conf, to including almost every possible directive in .htaccess known to man (though I hear I technically don't need to use .htaccess, since I have root access?).
I do know that .htaccess is working because I can successfully used DirectoryIndex.
Not sure if relevant, I am using PHP 7.0.
If anyone needs more specific information, I can quickly find it. I really want SSI to be working!
Thanks!
I figured it out finally, for some reason I stumbled upon an entirely different SO thread which had the answer.
I never enabled include.
SOLUTION: a2enmod include.
I have a developer that came to me with and issue. He is remotely managing one of his sites on one of our development servers and all of a sudden he lost all of the icons in IIS for this specific site..
All other sites display his icons correctly and when I have him test on another computer everything displays correctly.. So what could have gone wrong on his machine? It was working but is now not working.. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.. Never seen this before and cant seem to figure out what caused it to just go away.. There should be so many more options for him.. Plus if you can see he lost the ability to see the folders on this site also.. And it is every site on this server.. But like I said it is just on his computer, he goes to a different computer he has access to everything..
Guess I cant post a picture.. But if you need to see it I can send it to you if you need to see what I am talking about..
Come to find out he was ignoring the prompt that he was getting saying that there were new versions of the tools to download on his machine that are on the server.. He just hit Cancel instead of selecting them and hitting ok to install the DLL's and enabling them.
I'm very new to MAMP, when I first installed MAMP the Apache server and mySQL were working fine.
Then I stupidly deleted my root user on the database, and I couldn't access the mySQLadmin screen.
So I uninstalled MAMP and reinstalled, but now the Apache server isn't working.
Anyone got suggestions, for example what logs I should look at? I've researched a few solutions but im pretty confused
I had this exact problem.
Make sure you remove all files from /applications/mamp before reinstalling MAMP! If this doesn't work, it's possible you messed something else up, so you can try installing XAMPP, which offers just about the same functionality as MAMP.
I recently have an issue with colorbox. After moving the site in different server (cloud) the functionality of opening a link with colorbox, stopped working. The files are the same and I have not changed anything.
Do you have any suggestions? Is there any server compatibility that I have to look around?
Thanks in advance,
Penny.
Colorbox, and all jQuery and Javascript scripts for that matter, are client-based. This means it is the client (the visitor's computer) who does all the work. The server has absolutely nothing to do with them. This being said, the answer of to your questions is: no. There are no know (or even unknown) compatibility issues with colorbox and any time of server.
So, more than likely something went wrong with your files when you migrated to your new server.
after copying zend library in my zend proj and refresh the page Apache wont start.
it show me this error : Appache Http Server has stopped working
i use of xampp , version 1.7
Your question is really vague. There can be a number of things that went wrong and you didn't give us enough background information on the install. (like config files you changed, directories you renamed, etc.)
If you cannot start Apache, the first place to check is the Apache error log file for problems. It will most likely have an error that we can help you troubleshoot.
I am not familiar with xampp directory paths but will take a guess that you need to look here: /xampp/apache/logs/error.log.
i`ve change my xampp version to 1.7.3 , now it work nice
