How to have a preview component in zend form? - zend-form

i want to add a preview component to my zend form. This preview component basically allows the user to construct a drop down and see how it looks (yes unfortunately that is a requirement).
so im constructing this dropdown - and when the user clicks on 'add drop down' (a button present in that form) , the drop down has to be previewed on the right-hand side.
could anyone point me in the right direction - do i use iframes/ajax/dojo? I'm not sure how to go about this, and if anyone could give any pointers, i'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

Achieved this with a simple onLoad javaScript function . there is certainly no way in zend_forms that this can be done - that i'm aware of.

How do i create my own right click menu on the desktop?

i have searched up and down the internet but cannot figure this out. So ive finally come here for the aid of some utter genius people.
I dont like the windows right click function as it has too many options. Some of the options like properties cannot be removed. So, i thought i could disable right click to remove the menu and create my own.
The problem i have is i cannot figure out for VS2010 how to right click on the desktop outside of the form/project and make a box pop up like the same behaviour as the built in one. I am ultimately wanting to be able to expand and add things but im falling at the first hurdle.
Can someone please tell me how to right click on the desktop and create a context menu popup where i can add my own items. i want it to behave the same as windows but i want it my own essentially. This way in the future i will be able to enable or disable my own functions i.e open/winrar/7zip / remove edit on the fly.
thanks

Remove/Disable the default menu of desktop is not a good idea at all
But you can add your own items as well using 3rd party apps
I made an app modifies the default menu ,it can append more items an sub items
I wrote it long time ago I do not remember if i still have the source code or not

Template 10:Using MasterDetail along with Hamburger Template

I am using template 10 for developing a UWP app and i'm using hamburger template so when a user clicks on a particular category i would like to navigate him to a event list in a master detail view where on left is complete event list in that category and on right selected event details. There is a sample provided and its difficult to understand and don't know how to use the sample in my app along with hamburger navigation. Also as an extra feature if the user clicks on a particular category the hamburger panel should hide and masterdetail view of event should come. And when user click on back button the panel should appear again with that page.
If anyone could help me it would be of great help. Thanks in advance.
There is a really detailed sample in the repository. It has 2 examples in total. 1 a control being developed by a community member. The other is a design based around using basic XAML with visual states along with responsive triggers for screen sizing.
I've implemented the response non-usercontrol variant and it works very well. The other control based scenario has some good features and is being updated often for feature additions and corrections.
Master Detail Sample
I think what you might be looking for here is a slightly simpler thing that we are able to give you. Master/Detail is certainly not splitting the atom. That being said, it's not just a drag and drop thing either. Your are going to need to take a look at the sample. Try to reproduce it exactly into a blank project. It's a great resource, but it's not a control for you to use as much as a sample for you to refer to. I certainly wish I had a simpler answer for you, but this is going to take a little effort on your side to understand the mechanics and implement it. In the end, once you pass that "ah ha" moment, I think you will look back and realize it's simpler than you thought. But until you understand how it works at a fundamental level, it's just going to continue to confuse you. I agree with #mvermef that the visual-state approach (the primary approach) is the easiest and uses the skills you will want to learn for future development, too. But, to that end, please recognize there are TWO approaches in that sample. One uses view-states and the other uses a custom user control. If I were you, don't pick the second approach. The first approach will be easy to understand, easy to implement, and wonderfully helpful to understand for other things later down the road.

VB.NET Putting the menu into controlbar like Firefox

The new Firefox versions do not have the regular menus anymore.
Instead the menu can be reached by clicking the orange button which is somehow integrated into the form's controlbar. This saves some space on the client area.
I would like to do the same with VB.NET and WinForms.
Could anybody please tell me
a) what this is called? I did not find any information on this on Google, perhaps because I just didn't find the right term.
b) Perhaps a starting point on how to do this?
Thank you very much.

How to fix a non responding ext.list?

I've got a problem with an Ext.List:
You press a button on the main menu and are shown the list. Everything on it works fine and it let's you choose, where to go deeper inside the app. No problems so far.
But if you then go back to the main menu by pressing a "back"-button and reenter the page, that shows this Ext.List, it doesn't work anymore: you can't select an entry of the list.
The "back"-button removes the list, if you return to the main menu this way:
setTimeout(function(){page.removeAll();},100);
What's my mistake? Do you know a better method than "page.removeAll()" that really kills this Ext.List to let it then be completely recreated when I choose to see it in my main menu?
Thanks in advance, you guys have the best tips and tricks.
It's hard to tell without seeing your code but I suspect that there is a javascript error somewhere in the program flow that you described. If you display the javascript console in either Chrome or Firefox it should show the error.
Depending upon how the function that creates the list is defined it would normally recreate the list upon page/function entry and there should be no need to 'kill' the list explicitly.

Dialog-box changed on Qlikview

I am newbie for qlikview, still developed some reports using guide-lines from it's manual. But,i changed some parameter ,where it changed the appearence of dialogbox of properties, when you right-click that chart.Any body know about this to go back to the previous dialog box? since it's too complex way to edit the entire properties at one shot.
Thanks & Regards,
Sushma K
I'm not sure if I completely understand your question, but perhaps you turned webview on or off, by pressing the below button? That changes the look and feel of the property boxes.
