I'm trying to add tooltips to a Dojo application that I recently inherited. The problem I'm having is that everything is created with dojoAttachPoint identifiers instead of with id's , such as :
so, I can't use "connectId= " when defining the tooltip, until I get a hold of the element's id that I want to connect to. Basically my question is, how can I find the id based on the dojoAttachPoint?
Thanks much for any suggestions!
The attach point is either going to be a domNode or a Widget based on whether it has a dojoType or not so if you have an attachPoint to a widgit then you can access connectid with this.myAttachWidget.connectid assuming that the attachPoint is in a widgets template.

I have 2 questions,
How can I set the value of the global search box and trigger the filter programmatically, using java script (basically I want to implement a persistent filter, based on the last user input, as the user navigates in and out of the page), check image below
Considering the Veu devtool component, I can find the vue-good-table Component and its Search subcomponent. And I can see that there is a value propuerty on this subcomponent that has the same value I had typed in the search box.
So my question is if with this information can I have a way to solve my first question, does the information in the Vue devtool can help me figure out the references to that object and value and then set it?
This could be a very useful tool in case I have a similar problem in the future with another component.
Have very little experience with Veu and general searches on how to access data or elements in components has been confusing, I just understand the properties and events to pass data, but in this case this is an imported component, so I can not hack it.
Thanks #tao, I read the docs before but skipped noticing this property

This is the one that solves the problem, you can link a variable to the search item and I then use your own text input box to implement the solution.
in a vuetify table i do not want to show some headers and their corresponding column. Instead, I want them to be displayed in a table in the extended-item slot. The items of the table are completely user editable. This all works fine too.
The problem is that in the extended-item slot not only the properties of the selected item are displayed, but the properties of all items.
In the vue-dev-tools it is displayed correctly. I think I'm missing something fundamentally simple here. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Here is the link to the sandbox: v-data-table in expanded-item slot of v-data-table, user editable
You can do it changing :items="tabItems" by :items="[item]" (i put inside array because one item alone is not legible by :items v-data-table.
If you call tabItems you will iterate over all items again so its better to use filtered expanded-item item instead do hard work manually.
I tried in your sandbox, you can change line 54 with my suggestion and you could check that its working well.
I was able to get Aurelia-validation working on a dynamically created form when using the compose element, but I've switched to custom elements for better encapsulation and reuse of the custom controls. However, now my validation seems to be half-broken.

Issue 1: The ValidateBindingBehavior is not doing anything. I suspect it's not finding the controller or matching the rules since the property name is not easily visible in the binding (due to dynamic controls).
Issue 2: For some reason validate() on submit actually only shows the first error instead of all of them. That indicates a problem but I don't know what.
Can anyone get the attached GistRun to work properly?
I have generated fieldset (textboxes,selectfield etc) inside panel. After login done i display this panel using bellow code from my controller.js
Ext.Viewport.add({xtype: 'IntakePanel'});
Ext.Viewport.setActiveItem({xtype: 'IntakePanel'});
But after this if i try to inspect i can found two panels are there
And due to this if i try to access fields of panel i got array with length 2/4 etc.
I try to remove it using
Ext.Viewport.remove(Ext.Viewport.getActiveItem(), true);
but doesn't help much.
Please help me on this.
Thanks
I think the framework is reinstantiating your component because when you pass only the xtype, it can't know you are trying to reference the same instance as before. try adding an id to your instance and instead of passing an xtype to setActiveItem, give it the result of a component query.
Ext.ComponentQuery.query('#yourCompoId'):
I'm trying to create a dynamic input element that is draggable. Now the problem is I create an element but when I use something like
$("#in"+index.toString()).draggable({cancel:true});
after I append it to the container div, it's not working. Basically it's not working for the dynamically created input element of a certain id. Here's the code and please feel free to point out problems. I could really use some help on this one. Thanks!

The problem is that you are creating a new element that is not bound to the UI functions. I would suggest using clone(true,true) and then changing the parameters of the cloned element as need be. You can learn more about clone here. http://api.jquery.com/clone/
