DTS Connections Error - sql-server-2000

I'm receiving this error while attempting to execute a package:
"The connection is currently being used by a task. The connection cannot be closed or reused."
Any ideas?

The problem was with "Close Connection upon completion" under Workflow Properties. I ended up having to uncheck all of them to get this package to work.

Error after removing Connection from SSIS package

I am updating SSIS package to remove a connection to a web service that no longer exists.
I have removed the Tasks within the package that reference this connection, however when I delete the connection from the Connection Manager I get the following error:
The connection "Web Service Manager" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found.
When I search the code in the .xml file I find no reference to this connection and it is not used in the SSIS Logging. Where else can I remove this from as I found no trace of it anywhere.
I am using VS2008.

SQL Job Executed successfully but In the log I can see description with error code:0xC001000E

I have a job scheduled to run for every day which was running fine previously but for the last few weeks I am getting the below error message in the description(I have checked it in the log) but Job runs successfully.
Here the error message:
This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific
connection element is not found. End Error Error: 2018-07-26
06:00:01.50 Code: 0xC001000E
Is anybody have idea where can I check this and what could be the issue?

This is caused by an invalid connection manager. If this package was made from an older one, there may be components still pointing at an old connection manager. The reason that the package is still running is likely because either the objects using this connection are not being executed and have set DelayValidation to true/ValidateExternalMetadata to false, or they're disabled. There should be additional error messages with the ID of the referenced connection manager, if there's not then you can track this by configuring logging for your package. If you want to find what tasks reference this connection manager, then right click the package, select View Code, and search for the ID of the connection manager in the package XML.

PRXY0007: The request or the response message was incomplete or malformed. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

I am receiving following error message in the browser while running coded ui test in a remote VM using VSTS 2010 test Agent.
PRXY0007: The request or the response message was incomplete or malformed. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Can any one throw some info on this?
I went in to my Internet Options and Connections tab. And then under "Lan Settings"
Uncheck everything.
This seemed to fix it for me.

SSIS error when executing package with removed connections

I'm using SSIS on SQL Server 2005 and have run across an error. As part of the cleanup process I removed a couple of connections from the connection manager section, that we didn't end up using. But now when I attempt to execute the package I get an error stating that "The connection {some guid} is not found. This error is thrown by the Connections connection collection when the specific connection element is not found."
I've checked and rechecked, and the connections I've removed are not being used in the package, so it appears this is an unnecessary error. Is there someplace I can check and clean out this error message?
Thanks!
Check this thread out: Connection Not Found Issue Resolved
This was a very strange situation that even I had faced, given that I had updated names of the connection managers and updated the same even in the configuration file.
Still the package would fail because it was still using the old connection manager.
It turns out that the package was configured to use SQL Server Logging. Also the package configuration referred the old connection name. [Even though the name inside the configuration referred the new connection name]. I guess the issue was that it did not correctly update the configuration.
I resolved this issue by re configuring the connection manager and the default logging.

How do I fix connection manager error that causes the package to fail in production?

I have created an SSIS package and it works great on my dev machine. But, when I try to run it on the production server, it errors out on me.
Here is the error:
Error: The AcquireConection method call to the connection manager
"DestinationConnectionOLEDB" failed with error code 0xC0202009.
I have figured out the cause, but am not sure how to get it fixed. The password isn't in the connection string. But I have set the password in the SSIS project. For some reason though, when I deploy and run this on the production server, it won't run since the password isn't part of the connection string.
Is there some setting in the SSIS project that I need to change in order to get this to work right?
Thanks.
Disable the password by setting the ProtectionLevel in the package properties to DontSaveSensitive.
I also recommend moving the connection string to a package variable and make an expression on the connection. Enable package configurations.
Then you are free to change the connection and to use integrated security or not without changing the package. You can either put the connection string in the configuration or then provide it on the command line.
