Good morning,
We have a website with over 8 million detail pages.
Currently the format looks like this:
https://example.com/video/my-dummy-slug-kx97d69c87rd5
I don't know if it's important to keep this format or to do like what Youtube & Dailymotion do, don't use a slug but just the ID, which will give:
https://example.com/video/kx97d69c87rd5
What would be the impact and why large and bulky websites like Youtube & Dailymotion have chosen not to use slugs.

I want to authorize another user to use my iTunes account (Basically, I want him to be able to purchase music on my behalf - my money - his music selection).
What are my options here? I do not want to necessarily share my apple ID password.

Even though this question is so off-topic I want to help you:
You can create a family including you and him. You would be the parent while he would be the child.
There is no other option I know of.

Please understand that I'm effectively a SQL noob even though I know a few tricks here and there, so this may seem silly.
Do open source SQL scripts exist for PostgreSQL? If so, where can they be found?
For example, it seems silly to recreate a contacts database when someone else has almost surely built a "perfect" one that anyone could use & customize already.
Again, please forgive my noobity, as I'm all but sure that my vocabulary is incorrect.
The are publickly available DB dumps with geo data (all kinds of maps), phone and address books for different countries, etc. Also there are prebuilt schemas, used by some web (and not only web) frameworks.
But all of them are built for different purposes and there is no perfect solution.

Hi I have a popular blog built with WordPress, Google used to index new posts fairly quickly, at least within 12 hours, but now it's not indexing new posts before more than 2 days, anything I can do to make it faster? I am concerned because some of the posts are news so they quickly lose their value if not indexed.
