When I use the copy/paste buttons on my Typematrix 2030 keyboard when using Intellij IDEA, it instead does an insert 50% of the time - intellij-idea

Setup
Device: Laptop
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise
Description
I know this is a weirdly obscure issue and I know I can use ctrl+cxv, but I have a Dvorak layout, so the 'X' 'C' and 'V' are quite far apart. I'm now so used to the other buttons because of this as they're right next to each other, I keep using them unconsciously.
And it's really frustrating seeing my attempt to copy/paste work only 33% of the time and having to redo it over again.
I've understood from a Typematrix forum post that these keys are linked to
key-sequences.
Cut: Shift+Delete,
Copy: Ctrl+Insert,
Paste: Shift+Insert
This impedes on my work and I'm desperate.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Why does my cursor keeps getting stuck and starts clicking randomly?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. My cursor keeps being stuck in one place and sometimes it just starts clicking I know that because everything keeps getting selected like when you double or triple-click.
I searched on google first and it said you can reset(didn't help), press escape multiple times, turn off and on (when I do this it stops being stuck for a movement but then it happens again after some time.), drumroll your fingers, and see if there is dust(i cleaned it thoroughly).
Nothing gave a permanent solution. I am a student and I can't just turn it off and on in the middle of online classes.
PLEASE HELP ME
there are many reasons a mousepad can start acting weird. I have one suggestion that might work as this has fixed it for me before.
If you open the computer, most likely there will be some simple connections for the keyboard, storage etc under the battery. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the blue mousepad connection tab. If you have trouble opening the computer, there are plenty of quick tutorials out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1JWSnk6uZY.

Fix JetBrains IDE graphic bug where menu windows are displayed across multiple monitors

Many IDEs from JetBrains have this annoying graphic bug (IntelliJ & PyCharm, and probably WebStorm / PhpStorm too): while on dual screens, when you open menu or right click somewhere, if it's close to the edge of the screen, and there is another monitor next to it, the window is displayed across both screens and is very poorly readable.
I have been dealing with that issue forever but I forgot how to fix it. I always struggle to find the answer and I can't find it again this time, so I'm creating this question for posterity. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
This is the IDEA-157583 issue. Unfortunately there is no known reliable workaround. The issue has some workarounds that help some users e.g. see one, two, three. See also other comments in that thread or in linked issues.

Can't move mouse with touchpad

As the title suggests, my touchpad won't move my mouse. I am therefore unable to select outputs of my commands, but I am able to take screenshots of windows. (Luckily I am used to using keyboard shortcuts)
I have no clue what caused this. I have recently updated my kernel from linux52 to linux53 and linux54. Falling back to either of those versions from linux54 hasn't helped. I have also recently been playing around with a Wacom tablet, using xsetwacom, but I believe my mouse has worked after this.
I know it's not a hardware issue, as libinput debug-events correctly detects my finger running over the trackpad:
The output of 40-libinput.conf in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf is the following. I can't see any error there.
I tried blacklisting the i2c_hid, as suggested in the following question, but to no avail. It fixed an error claiming there was a duplicate mouse, which it decided to ignore. I thought this would help.
What is surprising is that I can click. I can't scroll or move the mouse, though. My trackpad lists the following settings. To my surprise, there is no Accel Speed there, and I can't manually set it with xinput --set-prop 14 'libinput Accel Speed' 1.0, as I need to specify the type and format. I don't know what these are supposed to be, and I don't know if the acceleration is the issue. I read that having a negative value would cause the mouse to never move, though.
Do you have any suggestions as to what to do? What does libinput do with the events after receiving them?
EDIT: Removing the blacklist i2c_hid from the modprobe returns the following Xorg log:
Making a copy of /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-synaptics.conf into my /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ folder, and commenting out the Option "Ignore" "on" line fixed it.
Had to sudo pkill X after changing it, of course. A reboot would also do the trick.

Google Cloud Terminal issues

I'm having issues when connecting to our google cloud containers.
The terminal gets restricted to a certain size and it is behaving odd, when using vim for example the application hangs for 10-20 sec if you press Page-Down, but that's something i'm able to work around, the real issue is the following.
When typing a command and the width goes over the width-length of the prefixed size of the terminal, you suddenly don't know where your cursor is.
The same is for editing a file in vim and you start to scroll down or write a shellscript for example and the last line of the document gets updated, only the last line of the file gets updated and the scrolling behavior is suddenly very broken.
This is what the pre-set size of the terminal looks like when editing
a file.
Setting the TERM enviroment variable to "xterm", "xterm-color" makes the colors and the "clear" function work but does not solve these issues.
If anyone else has experienced these issues and know how to fix them, sharing that knowledge would make life worth living again!
Updating your glcoud components to the latest version solved this problem, now i'm able to run fullscreen vim and life is wonderful!

Combination of RIGHT CTRL, RIGHT SHIFT and an ARROW key not repeating

This is perhaps my first post ever, asking for help on a Windows related problem and I already did all I could to resolve the problem myself but to no avail.
OS: Windows 10.0
Machine: Dell Inspiron 5559 (it's new so I know there is nothing wrong with the hardware)
Here is the predicament I am faced with:
When I use a combination of the RIGHT CTRL, RIGHT SHIFT and an ARROW-KEY to let's say select text in a Word/Google document, the combination works once but does not repeat itself if I keep holding down the keys (it used to on my last laptop which had Windows 7 installed on it).
I have already checked the Ease of Access Center. Sticky, Toggle and Filter keys are all OFF.
I have disabled the Intel HD Graphics hotkeys.
I have researched probably about 20 articles but nothing.
Guys, this is very important for me to fix because I work with text a LOTTTT and have to use this combination very frequently. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
PS: LEFT CTRL, LEFT SHIFT and RIGHT (or LEFT) ARROW-KEYS combination still works and it repeats if I press and hold those keys.
But for whatever odd reason, RIGHT CTRL, RIGHT SHIFT and RIGHT (or LEFT) ARROW-KEYS combination is not repeating.
As a point of comparison: my Samsung Windows 10 laptop has the Intel HD Graphics 4000, but I am not running the Intel Graphics Toolbox (just the drivers).
CtrlShift< and …> auto-repeat fine for me - I use them all the time too!
CtrlAlt<, …>, …^ and … v are the rotate commands for me.
My suggestion? Remove the Intel Graphics Toolbox thingy (it doesn't do any more than native Windows does anyway...) and try again. I know you say you've disabled the hotkey features - but who knows if it really has?
I had the same exact thing happening on my PC. It was due to the "Intro" key of the numeric keypad being stuck. Release it and problem gone.
You can easily reproduce the issue by maintaining that key pressed on purpose.
