diagnostic tool does not show progress in visual studio 2022 - visual-studio-2022

I am using Visual Studio 2022 professional version 17.4.3. During debug, the diagnostic tool is empty and shows nothing. This issue only occurs in VS2022. VS2019 is working fine with diagnostic display running during the debug process. VS2019 window
Do I need to do any configuration for VS2022 to get this diagnostic tool to show progress like VS2019?

Visual Studio 2022 Debugger thinks I changed code and wants to hot reload

EDIT: Good information provided below to diagnose, but the issue was I was running Visual Studio 2022 17.3. Version 17.4 is required for .NET 7, and I had just installed that. Once I installed the latest version of VS, all my problems went away. Install with Visual Studio
Suddenly today, debugging my ASP.NET Core 6 and 7 apps suddenly has stopped working. I hit F5 to debug, it stops on my breakpoint, but as soon as I continue or step into, I'm shown this dialog:
I haven't made any changes to code, I'm simply trying to continue after I've stopped at a breakpoint. This just started happening today and I can't figure out what I did.

Well, if your visual studio stop working for debugging all type of application, please check following configuration:
1. Tools > Options > Debugging > .NET/C++ Hot Reload
2. Tools > Options > Projects and Solutions > ASP.NET Core >
Furthermore, If you select the Always rebuild option in the dialog box, you won't see the dialog box again in the current Visual Studio session, and Visual Studio will automatically rebuild and reload instead of showing the dialog box.
Note:
In addition, as you can see above in the first release of Visual Studio (version 17.0) the standard Edit and Continue dialog is still shown when using Hot Reload with the debugger. This was a bug and has been resolved starting with 17.1 Preview 2 release.
If you still need more details about the issue you are having with, I would higly recommend you to check our official document here.
If issue still perist:
After checking above configuration, if your issue still persists and if you are not using Visual Studio (version 17.0) then you still reset your unknown setting in visual studio as following:
Go to Tools > Import and Export Settings.
Then No, just reset settings
Finally, restart Visual studio.

.NET MAUI project properties is not loading in Visual Studio 2022

I have created a .NET MAUI application with Visual Studio 2022 on Windows and when I do right click on .NET MAUI project in Solution Explorer and navigate to Project Settings, the UI editor tries to initialize and stucks in a screen saying "Loading Properties...". I am waiting for a few minutes and nothing happens. I also tried to reproduce in a new project and I have the same behavior. I also tried in Visual Studio 2022 (Preview) and same behavior here. I have updated both Visual Studio 2022 (Professional & Preview) and I have the same behavior. Any ideas why this happens ?
The only time project settings worked was only I accidently opened the Android manifest file. Then I tried to reproduced it again and nothing happens.

Cannot run Excel Add-In from Visual Studio 2019

I have Visual Studio 2019 16.8.2 and I have installed the Office Development tools from Visual Studio Installer. I then created an Excel Web Add-In project and when I try to run the project, I get this error:
In the output window, there isn't much useful info:
Excel is of course installed, I have the following version:
Could there be some form of Compatibility issue? or maybe something in the Visual Studio Version?
I tried to check online but couldn't find anything related to this.
The problem is that you should not Visual Studio as administrator. When running as Admin it results in the error. Running as not admin works correctly.

visual studio 2017 safemode

After I installed an extension to Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise, VS crashes on startup. In previous versions there was a /safemode switch. I tried it but it seems to be no longer supported. What can I do to suppress loading of extensions in Visual Studio when it crashes (cannot disable extensions via extension manager).
Thanks
There is still a /SafeMode switch. If this does not help you need to do a repair on visual studio 2017

Visual Studio 2012 Premium crashes when I use the Solution Configuration Manager

Visual Studio 2012 Premium crashes when I use the Solution Configuration Manager (or drop down on tool bar) to switch from Debug solution config to Release. As soon as I make the selection to the Release config, I get a dialog with a progress bar stating it is looking for a solution to the problem and after a few seconds that dialog closes VS closes and another dialog opens that states it is restarting Visual Studio. I get this same behavior if I try to create a new configuration from within the Solution Configuration Manager; i.e., as soon as I save the new config VS crashes. During the crash I'm not given the option in the dialogs to get detailed info for the crash.
This did not happen with the same code in VS2010 and Win7.
My work-around is to modify the Debug config to be what I need for Release, and then put it back to what I need for Debug.
VS 2012 was installed on a clean (not an update) install of Windows 8. I've installed all the latest updates for both Win8 and VS. Here is the Visual Studio boiler-plate info:
