I am trying to have a very simple call to sidecar of a service:
http://localhost:50001/v1.0/invoke/blabla/method/weatherforecast
But I'm getting this error:
fail to invoke, id: blabla, err: error when reading response headers: read tcp4 127.0.0.1:64061->127.0.0.1:5001: wsarecv: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.. Buffer size=22, contents: "Cirrato Client 21.5.0\x00""
Another point that might help is that I can see the application in Dapr's dashboard:
this call with same configuration works on another machine, but I want to know why on some machines we get this error.
this is how I run my application and my sidecar:
dapr run --app-id blabla --app-port 5001 --dapr-http-port 50001 dotnet run
Have you ever faced this problem? Can anyone help or share idea please?

I am trying to achieve the multicloud architecture. My network has 2 peers, 1 orderer and a webclient. This network is in Azure. I am trying to add a peer from Google Cloud Platform to the channel of Azure. For this, I created a crypto-config for 3rd peer from Azure webclient. But in the crypto-config, I made the changes like peers in Azure have their own certificates while for the 3rd peer, I placed the newly created certificates. Now I can install, instantiate, invoke and do queries in the peers(1 and 2). And I can install the chaincodes in 3rd peer. But I am unable to instantiate the chaincodes.
Getting the following error: Error: could not assemble transaction, err proposal response was not successful, error code 500, msg error starting container: error starting container: Post http://unix.sock/containers/create?name=dev-(CORE_PEER_ID)-documentCC-1: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: connect: permission denied
Can anyone guide me on this.
Note: All the peers, orderer, webclient are running in different vm(s)

It doesn’t matter how many places your solution is deployed
The problem is you are running docker by using sudo command try to add docker to sudo group

I am trying the learn OpenShift Origin, and was going through the Getting Started example. I did all steps prior to creating a new application that combines a builder image for Node.js. I can see I have configured the docker registry using oc adm registry.
But in the build logs I see an error as
Pushing image 172.30.134.94:5000/test/nodejs-ex:latest ...
Registry server Address:
Registry server User Name: serviceaccount
Registry server Email: serviceaccount#example.org
Registry server Password: <>
error: build error: Failed to push image: Get https://172.30.134.94:5000/v1/_ping: http: server gave HTTP response to HTTPS client
and the build fails.
What could be the possible issue. Is it some port I have not opened or something? I would really appreciate if someone can share some insight on this and on what I may be doing wrong to get things to work
Thanks
There was a fault in the setting up of insecure registries. Fixed it and things started working.
Trying to use the Phirehose class from https://github.com/fennb/phirehose
After uploading everything to the server, when i try to run sample.php i get the following errors. I've tried to manually run through the code but can't get to the bottom of this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Phirehose: Connecting to twitter stream: http://stream.twitter.com/1/statuses/sample.json with params: array ( 'delimited' => 'length',)
Phirehose: Resolved host stream.twitter.com to 199.59.148.138
Phirehose: Connecting to 199.59.148.138
Phirehose: Connection established to 199.59.148.138
Phirehose: HTTP failure 1 of 20 connecting to stream: HTTP ERROR : (). Sleeping for 10 seconds.
So, there are multiple different versions of the script. The .zip availble for phirehose in githubs download section is a different version than just copying down the most recent version of the script.
Most recent version of the script appears to work perfectly.
Below it is some information about my problem.
Our Apache2.2 is on windows 2008 server.
Basically the problem is user fails to upload file which is bigger than 100k to our server.
The error in Apache log is: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. : Error reading request entity data, referer: ......
There were a few times (not always) I could upload larger files(100k-800k, failed for 20m) in Chrome. In FF4 it always fails for uploading file over 100k. In IE8 it is similar to FF4.
It seems that it fails to get request from client, then I reset TimeOut in Apache setting to default value(300) which did not help at all.
I do not have the RequestLimitBody option set up and I am not using PHP. Anyone saw the similar error before? Now I am not sure what I can try next. Any advise would be appreciated!
Edit:
I just tried to use remote desk to upload files on the server and it worked fine. First thought was about the firewall which however is off all the time, Http Proxy is applied though.
I am building an application and I am using web services for getting data from a server. It was working fine when I was developing on my XP machine but had to switch to Windows 7. On the new machine I grabbed the latest version of the code using sourcesafe.
However, when I try to add a service reference in the solution or update an existing one I get the following error:
There was an error downloading 'http://localhost:52490/Service/CustomerService.asmx'.
The request failed with the error message:

An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://localhost:52490/Service/CustomerService.asmx. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.
Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
Does it has anything to do with the IIS or is it any configuration file I have to change in the solution?
Any help is appreciated.
How do you deploy your app to the server? Via a zip file?
Perhaps it extracts the files without the path.
