I want to link the free text questionnaire with a data collation software using an API but am unsure how to do so as previous times I’ve always received the API link from the survey generation whereas the BuildFire plug-in asks for a link to post them to.
I’m not quite sure how to link them as I’m assuming maybe I need a middle link where BuildFire posts it somewhere and that then sends it to the data collator?

My Data Science team is trying to pull Hubspot info into their data visualization platform via Hubspot's API.
They're telling me that they can't find the information fora contact's pageview anywhere. I've searched the documentation for the API, contacted Hubspot Support (who told me they can't help with the API), and spent hours googling but I can't find any information on this.
Does the API simply not provide that information? I know it's collected, because I can see page views in a specific contact's timeline...so why can't I access it via API?
Has anyone overcome this challenge in the past or does anyone have any advice?
I should mention that I'm about 10% literate when it comes to anything code related...so I could just be missing something.
Assuming you are using PHP in your API, then you should be able to find the number of page views here:
$objHubSpot->properties->hs_analytics_num_page_views->value
(where $objHubSpot is the name of the HubSpot object returned through API)
If you want to know the actual URL of the visited pages, then keep in mind that HubSpot only keeps a record of the last few URLs.
I'm online on wechat (an instant messenger, not to be confused with weechat, that is an IRC client) and following a lot of groups for work. I'm searching for an SDK, an API set, to be able to automitize info collecting from groups and or individuals.
But i'm not aware of any way to do it.
Please, this is NOT an 'opinion' question, I'm litterally asking you if you know a way to receive data from weechat, because I cannot find it.
I see the area on weechat website where a company can ask for accces to API, but, really I cannot find other tools.
Edit 1: Chinese DOC, I think: https://open.weixin.qq.com/cgi-bin/showdocument?action=dir_list&t=resource/res_list&verify=1&id=open1419318183&token=&lang=zh_CN
Edit 2: Chinese DOC more similar to a JS api :http://work.weixin.qq.com/api/doc#10029/%E5%A4%96%E9%83%A8%E8%81%94%E7%B3%BB%E4%BA%BA%E9%80%89%E4%BA%BA%E6%8E%A5%E5%8F%A3
Obviously, use google translator !
As from my OP, there are some docs, official docs, but the real problem is that to create even a simply Mini Program, we need to subscribe (paid) and also paying at one point a chinese-only page asks by country and the list simply does not include Italy, so I simply cannot subscribe.
When searching on Google, some organization details will display on the right side of the search result page that are realetd to my keywords.
Anybody knows how to display our data on that side?
See this example:
I found this great resource that goes into step by step instructions on how to do this. source: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/how-to-optimize-your-site-for-googles-answer-box/166084/
Here are the quick highlights:
To summarize, here’s what you should do if you have a website and want to get clicks from search in relation to a Google Answer Box.
Start by finding out if there is a Google Answer Box that relates to
content on your website or content that you could create for your
website, as shown in the examples above.
Create content that matches the Google Answer Box, goes into more
depth, and make sure it is using the correct markup.
Aim to be either the source of the Google Answer Box or the closest
to the Google Answer Box as you can get.
Make sure your page’s SEO title and meta description tell the
searcher you have even better information than the Google Answer Box
to encourage them to click on your link. Also, make sure it includes
the query the person would search to find the Google Answer Box.
Build links to your Google Answer Box content using anchor text that
matches the Google Answer Box call to action (if you have software)
or the query the person would search to find the Google Answer Box.
I am playing around with some free Wordpress plugins that automatically add schema. You can view more on SEO and other marketing help on my blog here: http://www.renowebdesigner.com
First, you need to have GMB Page for your website and make sure that your profile is 100% updated. It is called a knowledge graph. Basically, there are two types of graph,
Local Knowledge Graph
Branded Knowledge Graph
I hope that you have updated the following things on GMB page:
Business name
Business category & sub-category
Services which your offering
Contact num
Website link & appointment link
Explain about your business
Mark the exact location on the map
Add labels
To implement the knowledge graph for your business. I'm not aware of which website platform you're using.
Case1: If you're using WP website you can directly download knowledge graph plugin and update all your social links. At the same time make sure that your website doesn't have any issues. Check with structured data testing tool.
Case2: If you developed a website on another platform I request you to implement schema.org on the website with the help of the developer. The complete guide is available in webmaster tools.
Hope I have answered your question.
That’s coming from Google’s Knowledge Graph.
If you are the "authority" (e.g., for a search for "google", the authority is Google), structured data on your site can be used by Google to show more information in that sidebar. That would be Knowledge Graph cards (details). An example is Corporate Contacts.
I am trying to apply some APIs so that I can display and save Title, Image and Description of Latest Movies, Music Charts, Books & TV Shows on my PHP Website.
Currently I have come across the following APIs:
Movies: RottenTomatoes or TMDB API
TV Shows: TVRage or TMDB API
Books: iTunes RSS Feeds
Music: Last.Fm API or iTunes RSS Feeds
Could anyone please suggest me which one will be more helpful. Or if there are any better APIs than that ?
Also can I store the data returned by these APIs ?
I have been going through the Terms & Conditions, and everytime I read them I find something contradiciting. Please if anybody who has implemented these APIs can help ?
I can't recommend any for music or know of any API that gives you Latest Movies and such, but for the rest I'll give it a shot. I've been looking into this for weeks for a project I'm doing to teach myself how to program and I've came across a few.
OMDb API - Movies and TV
Free, no registration required, and easy to get started with data all retrieved from IMDB.
It returns Title, Poster URL, age rating, description, IMDB rating, etc.
Like I said, I can't see anything that would suggest it could show recent movies or anything, but until you find something to do that, take a look at this.
Google Books API - Books of course!
Also free with no registration requirement unless you want to use features that needs account access which probably isn't likely.
Storing Data
I originally misunderstood you here, so heres a quick edit:
You should be fine with storing it locally as it is publicly accessible anyway.
It's why the API is there in the first place.
I hope I've been able to help!
I think the iTunes Search API is what you need.
I can't make any recommendations for TMDB, however I have used OMDB and can recommend it. It's free and open source so you shouldn't have to worry about saving data.
For the others, I personally wouldn't be too worried about storing meta data for books, music, or movies/tv as long as you're not distributing the actual product in an illegal way.
For Movie and TV Shows you could have a look at Plex.tv - there are quite a few sources used for each of those, and the data is stored on the user's machine (which probably bypasses the question about rights).
For books have a look at Calibre - again, multiple sources of data stored on the user's computer.
There's the obvious answer of finding sources of data and then contacting them directly - T&C are often obtuse and unreadable, but having an email reply that says you can do something gives a plain and simple yes/no answer (even if it contradicts the T&C - but generally you'd only argue if the T&C says yes, and the reply says no)...
Finally, an API is good for consistent data, but technically HTML is similar to XML, which isn't unknown as API results - so any website can be a source of data if it's easily parsed :-)
I've found a PDF file of Appstore search API, that I can use some parameters to fetch an application's detail information.(sorry I forgot the download url, but I found it in stackoverflow)
But there are so many sites that show you a Top100 list(like appshopper.com), and such as Mobclix.com also provide you the rank information. How can they do that? I didn't find the related API in the PDF file.
I also found an Appstore API by ABTO(http://www.abtollc.com/AppStoreAPI.aspx), but I really wanna do it by myself.
If I clear the 1st question, then I'd like to know the common architecture of building a website based on the appstore data. Do I need a database to cache the appstore's data, and create a batch to fetch the data frequently, execute like once per hour? I think it might not be clever to access the appstore for every user request, and may be there is a access limit of appstore?
Thanks for your help!
You can use the following link to generate a url for querying iTunes Data for things like the top 100 apps in a particular category.
http://itunes.apple.com/rss/generator/
For the top 100 free productivity apps the generated url is
http://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStoreServices.woa/ws/RSS/topfreeapplications/sf=143441/limit=100/genre=6007/xml
The PDF that you link to is very old and hasn't been updated in quite some time, but even if you did get that working, it doesn't have "Top 100" selections (to my knowledge).
1.The way people do to get information from the AppStore is to parse the Xml returned from ITunes web call, and get the information they want. There's no official api release from apple.
You may be right, its more clever to save a copy of app information on your server.
