I have whitelisted Application from Rocketchat React Native
1.App runs on Simulator
2. on Acutal Device
When I am trying to upload it on playstore am getting following error
error on upload
I have added android:export to all the necessary places ie
AndoridManifest.xml/main AndoridManifest.xml/play
In your AdroidManifest.xml file you should put android:exported="true" to the every activity you have.

I have setup firebase in my react native app.
But currently exceptions are not handled means not added any crashlytics logs or recorded errors
But for android app I am getting crashes in firebase but not for IOS.
Can someone explain this in detail?
Crashlytics may only be able to upload the data once the app starts again. Did you restart the app?
This can happen if you are testing while the Xcode debugger is attached.
Check this document, it explains how to test this in iOS.
If that doesn't work, enable debug logging and check if something is causing issues. For this:
After enabling debug mode, run the app.
Then hit "stop" in Xcode.
Run the app in the device and crash it
Run the app again from Xcode
Collect the output from Xcode
I have already developed a React native application on my mac book, this is myfirst application. I want to deploy it to iPhone so that I can test it. I don't want to put it on appstore yet. I am not sure how to compile the application and get it ready to put it on iPhone. I tried this web site
https://www.diawi.com/, but not sure which .ipa or a.pk file, I need to upload. I can also try using expo, but not sure how to use it. Can anyone give me step by step instruction on how to upload this application on iPhone.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
For iPhone
For react-native-init you will probably need Apple developer account to test your app on your phone
Since you are using react-native-init, You should checkout this article by Facebook
https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/running-on-device
In the second point, it says Register for an Apple developer account if you don't have one yet
For create-react-native-app you need to do following
Download expo client from App store
Scan the QR code expo generate when you run your app using terminal (npm run start in terminal )
Note: Both Laptop and your phone should be on the same network
According to this thread, You can't use expo with react-native-init but alternatively you can create an expo project using create-react-native-app and then copy, paste files from your init project
For Android
For running your App on Android, You can directly generate/build an apk, send it to your device and just open it to see how it works (In Android you don't need a console or developer account to run your app)
Again, Open this link https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/running-on-device
And click on Android Tab to see how you can generate an Apk
I am trying to publish my application on iphone using expo client. When I send the link from my mackbook to iphone. I got an error saying "There was a problem loading the requested app. It looks like you may be using the LAN URL. make sure your device is on the same network as the server or try using a tunnel." I am on the same network. I checked the network twice. These are the steps that I followed 1) I started the application by giving the command in terminal window saying "npm start". 2) I choose the option "s" and then I was prompted to enter my iphone #. I entered the phone number and as soon as I did that, I got the text message on my phone saying "exp://10.21... . I clicked on this link and started getting the error message "There was a problem loading the requested app. It looks like you may be using the LAN URL. make sure your device is on the same network as the server or try using a tunnel." When I choose the option i. Option"i" is to run the application on emulator. I can successfully run the application on emulator, but when I send the link to my iphone, it does not work.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
I downloaded expo xde and that compiled my project and send the permanent link to my iphone and android and it worked well. Directly doing npm start does not send the right link because of some tunneling issues.I downloaed expo XDE from this link:
Expo XDE
I had archieved the xcode project and uploaded it into itunes connect. This is 5 time uploading, for internal testing. It shows the following error
I don't have any idea that why the error are showing, i'm using Xcode 7.2 . Can any one help to resolve this error, i stuck for more than a day.
Try with Application Loader.
sometimes i faced same issue with Xcode7.2 then will try upload app with Application Loader. it's worked fine.
For uploading app with Application Loader ....
Step-1) First create IPA of your App.and Export your IPA which is created with iOS App Store Deployment.
Step-2) Right Click on XCode(from dock) >> Open Developer tool >> Application Loader
Step-3) Choose IPA (which is saved for iOS App Store Deployment) and Next to upload. it will be take some small time and after few mins it will be show on itunes connect.
after few mins it will be show on itunes connect.it is very easy and faster uploding compare to xcode. Hope it Helps you!.
its currently a bug, many dev are facing it.
Also you can follow it here
The news section in iTunes Connect says:
You can now create and upload apps for the App Store on Apple TV
I've tried and got this error:
I've added a new tvOS target to an existing App, which is already available in the App Store. Both targets (iOS, tvOS) are using the same bundle identifier.
Does anyone have an idea of what went wrong or has anyone been able to successfully submit a built to iTunes Connect? The error message is not helpful.
use the "Application Loader.app" of the current Xcode Beta to upload your binary.
Works for me.
