Would you please tell me why "App Version" filter is disabled in total downloads page of app store connect analytics.
Thanks.

Download .ipa build via App Store Connect API

Due to some unique quality and regulatory requirements in our organisation, we need to be able to download a .ipa build from App Store Connect, in order to be able to compare it against a locally built binary. I appreciate this is an unusual requirement, but it is non-negotiable.
Clearly there is no way to do this via the App Store Connect web interface, so I've been looking at the App Store Connect API. However it is ambiguous from the documentation, whether it is possible to use this to download an .ipa build.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and how one might go about doing it if so please?
Apple does not provide any way of retrieving an upload app/IPA. It's neither possible through App Store Connect nor the App Store Connect API.
You can only check entitlements and additional build information in the App Store Connect interface. For that go to App Store Connect > My Apps > Activity > All Builds > Click on the build
(Fastlane does also not provide any way, because Apple does not expose the data. It uses the "web API", i.e. has access to more information than the "standard" App Store Connect API)
We can download IPA file with the help of Apple Configurator. Follow below steps to download IPA file.
Download Apple Configurator 2 app on your MAC.
Connect your iPhone with MAC and Apple ID should be same in apple Configurator and iPhone.
New window will display with app count badge in All Devices Tab.
Right click on your connected device in Apple Configurator and select Add and then Apps.
Process will complete and Popup will show with options, no need to click any option and go to this path
~/Library/Group Containers/K36BKF7T3D.group.com.apple.configurator/Library/Caches/Assets/TemporaryItems/MobileApps/
Save IPA file in your directory
-Now stop Apple Configurator
EDIT: I know this question is aimed at Downloading Appstore/Testflight builds, specifically, but wanted to provide this answer for others who find your question while looking for it from anywhere.
You can download iOS .ipa from Firebase distribution, as well as for Android .apks. But you do need to have the right permissions.
I just did it 5 minutes ago. See ☝️?
Go into App Distribution > find your app scheme/variant > expand build number > see if you have a Download button. If you don't, your company needs to bump your permissions up a bit higher.
Keep in mind that firebase apps can experience limitations when interacting with Apple SDK features, though, like SIWA. You'd need to use Testflight to test things like that if they don't work for you (we have decent devs and never could get it working on Firebase builds).
If the file gets deleted before you can copy it, you can use this command:
watch -n 0.1 find "~/Library/Group\ Containers/K36BKF7T3D.group.com.apple.configurator" -iname "*.ipa" -exec 'cp -r {} ~/Downloads \;'
When it's downloaded it will copy it to the Downloads folder. You're welcome.

How to set "Your name"

I cannot find any documentation or examples so I'm looking for guidance. When my Instant app is downloaded it shows up in Settings>Google>Google Play Instant with the app name and below that "Your Name". Other apps have found how to set "Your Name", for example, The NYTimes - Crossword has "The New York Times Company".
Is there a variable in a Manifest or a gradle file that needs to be filled?
I found out from Google Developer Support that the problem occurs if Instant Apps Dev Manager is installed and/or when the app is sideloaded.
The fix was to Uninstall IA Dev Manager, Clear App Data for my Instant App then re-execute the download from the Play Store. Checking Settings>Google>Google Play Instant the Instant App appears and the company name from my listing of the app with the Play Store shows up underneath. There is no Manifest or gradle attribute to supply; it comes from the Play Store automatically - if it's not blocked.

Not getting crash report data in Fabric Crashlytics dashboard after moving app to another account

I'm not getting any crash report data on the application dashboard for an app that I had previously setup and configured on a different organization account. I'm able to upload and distribute builds but the crash report data goes to the previous account's dashboard. I thought deleting the app from the previous account dashboard would fix the issue but after deleting the app I'm not getting crash report data in either account now. I don't want to loose the uploaded builds or release history otherwise I would have tried deleting the app from both places and trying to configure it again from the account where I want to distribute builds and receive crash data.
Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the old organizations API keys are still cached in your app. Please clean your app and check the info.plist and run script build phase (or if Android, AndroidManifest and/or fabric.properties file)

Mobile First Platform v 7.1 cannot register the devices

We have done the installation and configuration of MFP 7.1V with WAS 8.5.5.0 V successfully. Here we are able to access the operation and analytics console and able to add the application (.wlapp files) and adapter files and able to access those application in tab by instantiating an apk files in the tab.
But here the issue we are facing is we are not able to get the devices list in the operation console and analytics and devices tracking in the analytics console.
So essentially I guess the issue is that the applications fail to connect to the server at all. Please edit your question with the full client-side log with the errors.
Until then my suggest is to verify in the generate .plist/.properties file that you are indeed attempting to connect to the correct server. Verify the host, port and context-root values in the files.

Does iCloud needs to be enabled in Device to store data from app?

First of all thanks for the help! I am working on a application that we are planning to store some data in iCloud space. We have added iCloud code to app but unable to figure out few things as mentioned below:
Is it necessary to have iCloud enabled in user device (user might
choose not to use iCloud via Settings -> iCloud) to save my app data
to iCloud?
As far as i know data on iCloud is being saved on the
basis of apple id of user; so if user changes his apple id via
Settings -> Store then where my app data will be stored (app is
downloaded via different apple id) ?
How to test iCloud on
development environment. When i install the app (via testflight
using adHoc mpp) on various devices it does not synchronize the
data)?
Thanks again!
