I want to replicate Badoo's interests screen. The highlighting of each element and then being able to see these highlighted elements being remembered and able to be seen on another section of the menu. I've tried before, but in a very inefficient way.

I have searched google/stackoverflow etc. for answer to my question, but I didn't quite manage to find the right one. I believe I just don't know, how to set the question properly, and thus I cannot find solution.
Is there any way, how to create grid like I drawed in following image (with red colour):
I need to add this red grid to several images, which look very simmilar. The grid field (the one selected) have rolling menu, prescribed position, and a field for additional text. Black lines in background are image in background, and the red supposed to be grid above the image. I thought of creating a lot of buttons alined to each other, but i think that is very bad way to do so.
I would like a pop-up menu from selected field, but opening new activity with same fields is usable aswell. Is there any "simple" solution for creating such grid/menu ?
Btw, I am not programmer with many experience with coding, let's say, I know basics only.

Normally when I used to type in my VSCode editor, the intellisense showed all the possible suggestions for the entered query.
However, now as I type, only one suggestion is shown that best matches the query.
For instance, when I type in b, the intellisense just shows a suggestion for the HTML <b> element — not a list of suggestions including tags such as <button>.
Is there any way to change this? I have searched a lot of the net but couldn't find any sort of help.
VS Code 1.51 made the list of suggestions resizable so it's possible your suggest widget is simply shrunken down to be a single line high.
To fix this, trigger suggestions and then click and drag at the bottom edge of the suggest widget to increase the number of visible suggestions.
Note that you can always use the arrow keys to navigate through suggestions, even if only one suggestion is visible. Use this to check if the widget is simply too small or if there really is only one suggestion

Type: ">Reset Suggest Widget Size"
Select: 'click' or [ENTER]

(The suggestion window can be resized by dragging its borders with your cursor.)
I'm currently working on an application for Windows, however, I have one small problem: I can't seem to figure this one out...
Is there a way to remove the tab headers from tab control and designate other buttons to switch between tabs? I'm going for a more modern look and the default tabs in tab control are not at all what I'm interested in.

I've just thought of a different method to keep the clean look of my program without having to get too complicated with code.
For anyone wondering about this, you could set different buttons to hide and show different things, for example:
Under homeBtn you could have code that shows the information shown on the page by default, yet at the same time, you could also hide any information from the previous tab.

You can easily add buttons setting the property SelectedIndex on the tab control to switch the pages. To hide the tab headers, there are some ideas over here.
Background:
In my program, I have a list of commands that I am sending to a robot. Each command is numbered, and I display them in a list box. When my program finishes running each command, I want it to highlight the next line in the list box. Changing the SelectedIndex seems to give me what I want. However, I do not want the User to be able to change the SelectedIndex through mouse click.
What I have tried so far:
Disabling the list box doesn't work because it disables scrolling
WPF: Disable ListBox, but enable scrolling The solution here seems kind of a bit of a hack, and does not quite give me what I am looking for.
ListView - select index only programmatically Intended for C#, not very familiar with C#, so I'm not exactly sure if this solution will work if I try translating it over to vb.net. If this solution is indeed correct, could I get some guidance on how to translate this to vb.net?

I am making a webpage that has different areas that can be clicked on to change the contents.
I want to set it up so that when you click on an area, an openWYSIWYG editor appears in the middle of the screen with the rest of the page greyed out.
I have achieved this except for the positioning of the editor. When you click on a section I have a div with 50% opacity cover the page and a textarea appear in the middle. But when I try to attach the editor to the textarea, it loses it's position and falls behind the div not in front of it like the textarea is.
Can anyone suggest a way of centring the openWYSIWYG editor?
You're looking for Modal positioning. Here's one solution:

Basically, apply the Jquery Dialog to the div that holds your WYSIWYG. Don't forget a submit button.
Just a quick heads up--I went through quite a bit of headache dealing with WYSIWYG editors for client-facing sites a few months back. It seems that clicking the "paste from WORD" button was a very difficult task to figure out. Word-pasted code can wreak havoc on websites, overrunning text fields in the database. I gave it a try on their demo (which also doesn't support webkit based browsers) and the result wasn't pretty. The only two options I found to solve this were to sanitize code on the back end, or to use CKEditor. I chose the latter because it was so easy. Take a look at CK, it's a great piece of free code.
