I need to change the destination URL of a link created with odoo link tracker.
I highlighted the URL I need to change in red.
Is there any way (for example using developer mode or directly changing the values in the postgresql database) to change the destination url in odoo?
I already found out that the model I want to change is called website.track

I see several tutorials showing how to change the column type when creating a new extractor with import.io, however none of them seem to match the newest version. I was able to change the column type using the legacy desktop app, however wasn't able to ever publish the extractor. I assumed because the desktop app is now deprecated.
In the new web extractor I see no way to change the column type. Thus I get the content of the div I'm trying to scrape, but I'm wanting the div contents including all HTML. Thanks for any help.
Thanks to #andrew-fogg for pointing out that this is not yet available. http://support.import.io/forums/199278-ideas-forum/suggestions/13381848-data-type-support-in-new-version-of-import-io
I created a hippo documenttype using a one column layout. For rendering purposes I would like to reorganize the given items into a two-columns layout.
However, no option is available to do this change, at least not by using the latest hippo cms community version.
I have already searched in google and found following information, saying that it may be possible to change the layout by using the console, but no information about how:
http://hippo.2275632.n2.nabble.com/How-to-delete-or-rename-document-types-td7579269.html
I would appreciate any hints about it.
AFAIK there is no documentation on how to do this: this is not very complicated but this is a tedious process. If you still can - for instance your document type is not used yet - I would advise to simply drop it and recreate the content type. That being said, here is how it works:
look into your project namespace in the console: the path is something like this: /hippo:namespaces/YOURPROJECT/document-type/editor:templates/_default_/root
the root nodes defines the layout. Check out the plugin.class: for a one column this will be org.hippoecm.frontend.service.render.ListViewPlugin and for a 2 column layout the plugin.class will be org.hippoecm.frontend.editor.layout.TwoColumn
for every field in your document type (that's the tedious part) you will need to define if the field placed on the right or the left.
this is configured on the node with the name of the field path, as a property wicket.id that for instance have the value ${cluster.id}.left.item. This means the item will be placed on the left side.
Your best bet is to create a 2 column example document type and look carefully at its configuration and replicate the changes in your existing field.
Have you tried the instructions on the link below ?

I want to manage internal contextual link building in my articles, but somewhat in a well-managed and easier way. It is a pain to change all the link URLs in a text if we change a URL of a page which is linked to many pages in their content.
You shouldn't need to change them if you used the content picker to select the page you are linking to because it inserts a URL in the format {localLink:####} where ### is the id of the document the link is pointing to.
This is then parsed and replaced with the correct and current URL when the document is rendered, so it is always current and correct.
I'm trying to add a custom field type to our SugarCRM 6.2 instance. I want to add an "email link" type field. I want it to function like the URL field, but prefix every address with "mailto://" prefix instead of "http://".
It will be good if that field type is available in studio while creating new fields or in minimum, some custom code to achieve it.
What I did up to now:
- I've copied include/SugarFields/Fields/URL to include/SugarFields/Fields/Email
- In modules/ModuleBuilder/language/en_us.lang.php I've added a title for the email field
But unable to get anything working. Any help?
First of all you do not want to make any coding changes outside of the custom directory. Doing so outside of this directory is not upgrade safe.
Create a custom fields directory in your custom folder
Create new template files (.tpl) for your custom field
then you can just add a regular textfield in studio
then edit your viewdefs in your custom directory
in your tpl file concatenate the mailto:// to your text and just add the persons email address and it will take care of the rest for you
why you need custom field type for such small functionality? Just add your custom JS file in editviewdef.php. Then use some jQuery selector to perform certain action. For detail view, you can use view.detail.php to add required text in run time.
This will help you to store less data in database and display more in frontend.
