Automatic Cardview slide animation when fragment is loaded - android-animation

im experimenting if using curved cardview is a good custom titlebar shown as the lightblue thing in the pic. i was wondering if there's a way to animate it so that it would slide down whenever the fragment is loaded(also please suggest what is the best layout/container should i use as a parent for the cardview)

Even if the content page background color is set to transparent, while using PushModelAsync to navigate the page, the background color is always black

My goal is to view the content of the bottom page from the top of the other content page. In order to accomplish this, I used PushModalAsync to navigate and set the BackgroundColor property of the navigation page to Transparent. I can view the content on the bottom page on Android. However on the iOS platform, a black color is always displayed and I am unable to read the content of the bottom page. Why is the background color always black even when it is set to be transparent in PushModalAsync?
Note: The iOS platform displays a white screen when I change the navigation to PushAsync.
Expected Behavior:
Background color should not be black and it should be transparent when navigating using PushModalAsync
Actual Behavior:
Background color is always black even when the content page background color is set as transparent when navigating using PushModalAsync

If you want to do EXACTLY like that, it is not possible (it will require so much work that you can't expect someone to provide you the solution here).
On iOS that control (ViewController) is drawn that way in that presentation mode. So as long as you use that control and that mode it will work that way irrelevant if you use Xamarin or something else. As ViewControllers are most basic controls it is not realistic to replace them with something else. But you can replace presentation mode. In Xamarin.Forms you can do that this way:

This will result in somewhat different visual presentation but that is the only way to have one ViewController drawn over another without going into some deep customization that would require tons of code, especially on Xamarin.Forms.
You can also try some other values, but the default value will not work.
In iOS, the hierarchy is managed by the view controller. Each page has a separate view controller. A page consists of a window, a root view, and a subview. You cannot see the layout of the previous page by setting the background color to be transparent.

how to make react native liquid animation with curve

I wanna make swipe animation as shown in the above video. BUT I don't know how to make a side of the view to be curved and animate it. So far I have achieved curve from where it can be draggable but don't know how to proceed further from it.
I have used d3-shape but don't think it's gonna work.
I know I can make it draggable using pan responder but what about animation effects around the circle which is being swiped?
Any idea of how should I implement it?

Curved scrollbar in ScrollView on Android Wear 2.0

Is it possible to have a curved scrollbar like on WearableRecyclerView on ScrollView? How is it done?

Facebook App Style UIImageView

I have bunch of images inside a UIScrollView and have a tap event setup on each image. When I try to make the image full screen it actually is cut off by the scroll view. I am trying to implement a Facebook style UIImageView where the image zoom in and takes over the full screen on tap.
Does anyone have suggestion on how to approach this cause the way I am doing the image is cropped to the size of the scroll view.
Well, usually you would disable clipping, but the scrollview relies on clipping to do its job so that won't work.
My suggestion would be to push a copy of the image above the scrollview, and animate that to full screen. You should be able to get the rect using convertRect:toView: and it would be pretty straightforward from there.
btw, Is there a reason not to use a tableView for this?
When tapped hide the image and add the image at the proper place in the scrollview superview and over the scrollview. Then animate it to take the full screen.

Grid view with background image horizontal scrolling

I'm trying to implement a grid view menu, with horizontal background scroll of three images triggered by swipe gesture, so only the background images are scrolled while icons remain still. I investigated AQGridView, GMGridView, OHGridView, but they seem to not include this feature, so I decided to implement my own grid view with custom buttons placed in grid formation. My doubts are how to implement the background image scroll. I have searched for different solutions, but I'm not able to figure out how to solve it.

If I understand your question correctly you could make a view with 2 subviews: a) the grid of icons (UIImageView) and b) a scroll view with your background images in paging mode (UIScrollViewController).
Just make sure your icons do not receive touches, so that the scrollview gets the touches.
If you want to make the icons tap-able, then it's a little more complicated; you could create an invisible layer on top and then manually handle the touches, which will get complicated. Or, what I would do, place the icons as subviews on the plain scrollview, and then move the icons in the equal and opposite direction that the scrollview is moving in to create the illusion that the icons are standing still, this will simplest to implement but is a bit of a hack. Mathematically speaking you want to apply a transformation to the scrollview and apply the opposite transformation to the icons which are in the scrollview's coordinate system so that in the global coordinate system (the screen) your icons do not move.
