Axios rewrites Authorization header - vue.js

I am new in vuejs. Developing on Laravel8 + Vuejs3.
I have following code in vue:
methods: {
getUsersList(url=null){
let request_headers = {}
request_headers['Accept'] = 'application/json'
if(this.$store.state.token !== null) {
request_headers['Authorization'] = 'Bearer ' + ' ' + this.$store.state.token
}
if(url == null) {
url = this.API_URL + '/user/list'
}
axios
.get(url, {headers: request_headers})
.then(response => {
if(response.data.result){
this.headers = response.data.data.headers;
this.body = response.data.data.body;
}
})}
console.log(request_headers['Authorization']) shows right token, but in request headers axios sends another token(all the time the same)
I don't know why. Please help. I tried a few solution like: creating new axios instance and adding default header manually
Helpless.

filter query param not working through axios get from my vue js application?

whenever a user types anything into the textfield, an axios get request to the url
http://sandbox4.wootz.io:8080/api/data/1/action/?filter={id}like'%TE%' is made and it is supposed to return back all the filtered results based on the search(what user has typed) as a response. But currently rather than returning the filtered results as a response it is giving out all results(non-filtered results).
NOTE: I have tested the above mentioned URL through postman by making a get request and it gave out the filtered results perfectly.Why is the same not happening through my application code?plz help
getAsyncDataAction: debounce(function(name) {
if (!name.length) {
this.dataAction = [];
return;
}
this.isFetching = true;
api
.getSearchData(this.sessionData.key,`/action/?filter={id}like'%${name}%'`)
.then(response => {
this.dataAction = [];
response.forEach(item => {
this.dataAction.push(item);
});
console.log('action results are'+JSON.stringify(this.dataAction)) //displays all the results(non-filtered)
})
.catch(error => {
this.dataAction = [];
throw error;
})
.finally(() => {
this.isFetching = false;
});
}, 500),

import axios from 'axios';
const props = {
base_url: '/api/store',
search_url: '/api/entity/search',
cors_url: 'http://localhost',
oper_url: '/api'
};
axios.defaults.headers.get['Access-Control-Allow-Origin'] = props.cors_url;
axios.defaults.headers.post['Access-Control-Allow-Origin'] = props.cors_url;
axios.defaults.headers.patch['Access-Control-Allow-Origin'] = props.cors_url;
async function getSearchData(key, path) {
try {
console.log('inside getSearchData path value is'+path)
console.log('inside getSearchData and url for axios get is '+props.base_url + '/data' + path)
let response = await axios({
method: 'get',
url: props.base_url + '/data' + path,
headers: {'session_id': key}
});
if (response.status == 200) {
console.log(response.status);
}
return response.data;
} catch (err) {
console.error(err);
}
}
The problem is that you're not encoding the query string correctly. In particular, your % signs need to become %25
To do this, I highly recommend using the params options in Axios.
For example
async function getSearchData(key, path, params) { // 👈 added "params"
// snip
let response = await axios({
method: 'get',
url: `${props.base_url}/data${path}`,
params, // 👈 use "params" here
headers: {'session_id': key}
});
and call your function with
const params = {}
// check for empty or blank "name"
if (name.trim().length > 0) {
params.filter = `{id}like'%${name}%'`
}
api
.getSearchData(this.sessionData.key, '/action/', params)
Alternatively, encode the query parameter manually
const filter = encodeURIComponent(`{id}like'%${name}%'`)
const path = `/action/?filter=${filter}`
Which should produce something like
/action/?filter=%7Bid%7Dlike'%25TE%25'

How to pass authorization token in header for GET method using XMLHttpRequest in react native

I am new to react-native. I am trying to pass the authorization token through a header in the GET method. But I am getting an unauthorized error.
I have already tried this code "Using an authorization header with Fetch in React Native" not working for me and also with XMLHttpRequest()
But the API works fine in postman, Java(core) and Android.
Do we have any special implementation in react-native to pass headers?
Could anyone can help me with this?
My code: Changed the server name.
getData() {
var data = null;
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.withCredentials = true;
xhr.addEventListener("readystatechange", function () {
if (this.readyState === 4) {
console.log(this.responseText);
}
});
xhr.open("GET", "https://xyz-test-server.server.com/api/v3/users/details/");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Basic cC5qYWltdXJ1Z2FuLm1jYUBnbWFpbC5jb206MTIzNDU2");
xhr.setRequestHeader("User-Agent", "PostmanRuntime/7.17.1");
xhr.setRequestHeader( "Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=ISO-8859-1");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Accept", "*/*");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Postman-Token", "d8ae56bf-1926-44e4-9e94-23223234,93a110a2-ee8e-42d5-9f7b-45645ddsfg45");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Accept-Encoding", "gzip, deflate");
xhr.setRequestHeader("Connection", "keep-alive");
xhr.setRequestHeader("cache-control", "no-cache");
xhr.send(data);
}
Fetch method:
async _getProtectedQuote() {
fetch('https://xyz-test-server.server.com/api/v3/users/details/', {
method: 'GET',
headers: new Headers({
'Authorization': 'Basic cC5qYWltdXJ1Z2FuLm1jYUBnbWFpbC5jb206MTIzNDU2',
'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded'
}),
}).then(responseJson => {
alert(JSON.stringify(responseJson));
console.log(responseJson);
});
}
You can try interceptor for pass token into header.
Put all requests in one service file name service.js then import Interceptor from '../interceptor';
make one interceptor.js file and write below code in file.
import axios from 'axios';
axios.interceptors.request.use(async (config) => {
if (config.method !== 'OPTIONS') {
config.headers.Authorization = 'Basic cC5qYWltdXJ1Z2FuLm1jYUBnbWFpbC5jb206MTIzNDU2';
}
return config;
}, function (error) {
// Do something with request error
console.log('how are you error: ', error);
return promise.reject(error);
});
axios.interceptors.response.use(
(response) => {
return response
},
async (error) => {
// const originalRequest = error.config
console.log("error in interceptors=============>", error);
if (error.response.status === 500) {
alert(error.response.data.message);
NavigationService.navigate('Login');
} else {
return Promise.reject(error)
}
}
)
export default axios;
When api calls header will pass through by interceptor automatically.
Fetch Api converts all headers into lower-case. We need to do case-insensitive server side parsing.

How to update axios default header from interceptors?

I have the following code whitch refreshes JWT auth token:
axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"] = 'Bearer ' + jwt.getToken();
axios.interceptors.request.use((config) => {
let originalRequest = config
if (jwt.isTokenExpired() && api.unauthPaths.indexOf(config.url) == -1) {
return api.refreshToken()
.then(res => {
if (res.data.error == 'TOKEN_BLACKLISTED' && res.headers.authorization) {
let token = res.headers.authorization.slice(7)
console.log(`Current token: ${ axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"]}`)
axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"] = 'Bearer ' + token;
//in this log token is new, but each next request uses the old token
console.log(`New token: ${ axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"]}`)
alert('token was refreshed')
return Promise.resolve(originalRequest)
} else {
jwt.destroyToken()
jwt.destroyExpiredTime()
store.dispatch('auth/destroyToken')
router.push({name: 'login'})
return Promise.reject()
}
})
}
return config
}, (err) => {
return Promise.reject(err)
})
I need to update the token when I get a new one from the server. But when I use
axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"] = 'Bearer ' + token;
In code above, axios does not change the default token to new. Each next request comes with an old token. How to set a new token from the axios interceptors?
You have probably already fixed this issue. But for people that also face this issue here is the solution:
if this is your original request. it also uses the original headers
const originalRequest = error.config
you have to change them when you receive your new token:
originalRequest.headers.Authorization = `Bearer ${res.token}`
however you also have to set the default headers again for future calls:
axios.defaults.headers.common["Authorization"] = `Bearer ${res.token}`

Api call is not happening while calling Http Request using HttpClient in angular 7

I am converting a post API request written in javascript to typescript, but my new code seems to be not running as i do not see any network calls in the debugger. Please find my code snippets below.
javascript (working)
private resourcesAccessable(url, token, clientId, resources) {
var request = new XMLHttpRequest();
request.open('POST', url, false);
request.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Bearer " + token);
request.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
console.log(request);
var response ;
request.onreadystatechange = function () {
if (request.readyState == 4) {
var status = request.status;
if (status >= 200 && status < 300) {
response = JSON.parse(request.responseText);
} else if (status == 403) {
console.log('Authorization request was denied by the server.');
return null;
} else {
console.log('Could not obtain authorization data from server.');
return null;
}
}
}
var params = "grant_type=urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:uma-ticket&response_mode=permissions&audience="+clientId;
if(Array.isArray(resources)){
for (var i = 0; i < resources.length; i++) {
params = params+"&permission="+resources[i]
}
}
request.send(params);
console.log(response);
return response;
}
typescript (not working)
resourcesAccessable(url, token, clientId, resources) {
private http: HttpClient,
private payload
const httpOptions = {
headers: new HttpHeaders({
'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded',
'Authorization': 'Bearer ' + token
})
};
this.payload = new URLSearchParams();
this.payload.set('grant_type','urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:uma-ticket');
this.payload.set('response_mode','permissions');
this.payload.set('audience', clientId);
this.payload.set('permission',resources);
return this.http.post(url, payload.toString(), httpOptions)
.pipe(
tap(
(data) => {
console.log('----->>>', data);
}
)
), error => {
console.log('error ' + JSON.stringify(error));
};
}
I have tried many things to run the above code but none of them worked for me.
Split your code into the following sections. Angular/RxJS is different from vanilla JavaScript. You create Observable http calls which the Subscriber then reads from.
Inject HttpClient into your class -- necessary for http calls to work. (Needs additional dependencies to work. Please refer https://angular.io/guide/http)
constructor(protected http: HttpClient) {}
Function Definition
resourcesAccessable(url, token, clientId, resources): Observable<any> {
const payload = new URLSearchParams()
const httpOptions = {
headers: new HttpHeaders({
'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded',
'Authorization': 'Bearer ' + token
})
}
payload.set('grant_type', 'urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:uma-ticket')
payload.set('response_mode', 'permissions')
payload.set('audience', clientId)
payload.set('permission', resources)
return this.http.post(url, payload.toString(), httpOptions)
}
Function Call
this.resourcesAccessable('', '', '', '')
.subscribe(
(data) => {
console.log('----->>>', data);
}
, error => {
console.log('error ' + JSON.stringify(error));
},
() => console.log('Completed'));

How can I make a basic authorization with angular HttpClient and connect with an api Request?

well i have a problem i tried to connect an api with basic authorization but the server don´t give me access it return a 401(unautorized) my code is:
getApi() {
console.log('here i am in the method for get extensions');
const headers = new HttpHeaders({
'Content-Type': 'application/json',
'Authorization': 'Basic ***********************'
});
const options = {
headers,
withCredentials: true
};
// tslint:disable-next-line:max-line-length
return this.http.post('https://10.100.43.241/json', this.jsonBody, options).map((response: Response) => {
const resToJSON = JSON.stringify(response);
console.log('i am going to return jsonfrom method');
return resToJSON;
});
}
i tried too with postman an it is working as well. i really need to know how can i solved this problem of connection or authorization
note: i am not the administrator about the server
Try this architecture.
Component:
this._appApiService.getApi(this.jsonBody).subscribe(result => {
this.resToJSON = result;
});
Service:
getApi(jsonBody: any) {
// add authorization header with jwt token
let headers = new HttpHeaders({ 'Authorization': 'Bearer ' + this.token });
let options = { headers: headers };
return this.http.post(this.baseUrl + 'https://10.100.43.241/json', this.jsonBody , options);
}
